Some of the best veterinarians, including Penn Medicine, told me there was no cure and that he likely only had 6-12 months left to live. A friend recommended Dr. Rose DiLeva to me, and I first brought Oscar to see her on November 3, 2022. Thankfully, finding her changed everything for us. Through acupuncture, ozone therapy, holistic treatments, herbs, laser treatments, and her incredible knowledge and compassion, Oscar is STILL walking today, years later. Because of the care she has given him, I made her my primary veterinarian. During this time, we have also dealt with mange, a severe groin infection, Lyme disease, and multiple episodes of his back going out of alignment. Dr. DiLeva and her staff have helped us through every single challenge with patience, kindness, and support. I especially want to mention Janet at the front desk. When Oscar had mange, I was calling almost daily, stressed and overwhelmed, and she was always there to help me get through the day. Her compassion and reassurance meant more than she probably knows. Rachel, one of the technicians, is also absolutely wonderful. Oscar adores her. She is so gentle, caring, and attentive with him, and you can tell how much the staff truly loves the animals they care for. This office has become like family to us. They have given Oscar quality of life, support, and time that I honestly did not think we would have. I will forever be grateful to Dr. DiLeva and her amazing team for everything they have done and continue to do for my boy.

Regarding care.... I took my pet to another veterinarian for routine bloodwork after leaving Dr…read more Tancredi's office. The new vet informed me my pet was and had been in heart failure. We visited Dr. Tancredi's office a few times, however, he never picked up on this. The other vet noticed the signs right away. We ended up having to put our pet down within a few days of finding out. We left Old Ridge Vet because going to an appointment there is like visiting Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. You never know which version you will get. Some appointments are fine. However, when you walk in on a Mr. Hyde day, you will wish you never came in. On a positive note.... the waiting room is always empty so there is never a wait. Hmmm, I wonder why?

They were unable to put a mussel on him so the Dr. prescribed meds and said he was going to charge me for a physical as it would be illegal and unethical to prescribe medications without one and he would do a physical the next day. The next day when we came back I was only able to get most of the meds down him and they were not able to put a mussel on him. He is a rescue and has been abused. When I menioned the long waiting times in the small room with him while he shook, Dr Tancredi screamed at me in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner and told me to get out. He has never done an exam though he charged me for one.

Most of all she listens to what the problem is & pays ATTENTION to our PETS. She does whatever is in her power to do. We trust her & her staff a lot. They are our hearts, that's saying so much about her. I don't like going to a vet & having the Vet Tech seeing my pet. I pay for a Doctor & that's what I want. No more than I want to see a nurse when we go to the Doctor. I just love her little country office with all the warmth & caring that comes along with it. She will give it to you straight. My Pets love her as much as they can love going to the vet is possible. Each Dog leaves with a large cookie & a TOY! How many vets do you know that are hands on like this? Not many. I loved Dr. Willie from WC Animal Clinic, but he retired. Thank GOD we found Dr. Holly & Jen. Her Staff is so considerate as well. Not only this but she doesn't put them through a battery of testing before she can figure out what is wrong. It's unnecessary & $$costly. Which in my opinion why some people stay away.

Dr Mehew was so kind, accomodating, and understanding. Cannot say more!
