I would highly recommend Cypress Pools for any and all of your pool needs. I am in the process of selling my home and my IG pool needed to remain open past the normal pool closing season due to a pool inspection. After the pool inspection was completed, which was the 1st week of November, I began calling companies but none of the pool companies around the Albany area would come out and do it except Cypress Pools. Cindy and Renee were very friendly and accommodating and schedule the pool closing immediately. They did not over charge or add an extra fee knowing many of the other companies would no longer provide the service. Cypress pools were understanding of the situation, honest, professional and the price quoted was exactly what they charged; no last minute add on. Cypress pools replaced my 23 yr. old pool liner (16' X 32' w/stairs). After initial tear out of old liner & cleaning of pool floor & walls. Things went well. Then wrong liner delivered!! My deep end was 6' .They sent 8' depth!!! After 2 weeks waiting for liner delvery, guys got to work. Thanks to Jason, John, Mark, sorry can't remember everyone. Very professional & kept me informed throughout process. Got right to get liner in. Even getting creases out after it rained& liner floated. Tell everyone involved...JOB WELL DONE!! Worst customer service I have ever had with a company. 3 people in the office and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Spent a ton of money on a new pool liner with installation. Promised times to show up and do work and never come; come when they feel like it without notice. Sent 2 guys to close pool after finally all done and the 2 people didn't even know what they were doing. Again had to make a phone call and the owner showed up to close the pool properly, never apologizing for the mess up once again. And the icing on the cake was using my credit card I had used for a down payment for the remainder of the work that I never authorized, so Please do not use Cypress Pools for your pool needs. The lack of communication and unprofessional attitudes toward the customer just outrageous. read more

Our gripe is with the price of the closing of our fiberglass pool. I was quoted $290 on the phone but the invoice after the fact was $435. When I called, I was given the person who knew about the charge and was told the $290 quote was for a safety cover not a tarp and water bags. I said no, that when I inquired about the price of the closing I also asked for a price on a safety cover, and that days before the closing I called to ask if we had to fill the water bags. They clearly knew it was not a safety cover. Also on the invoice was the comment that the chlorinator tube broke during closing and would have to be replaced in the spring. When I asked about this I was told that they did not break it, things get old and break. Her attitude was well rehearsed and very unfriendly. read more

We had our pool installed by Cypress 25 years ago. The construction was incredible with no problems. Pat and his crew have been extremely helpful and supportive to our needs. I have a very serious safety concern regarding the construction of an in ground pool next to my home The pool is being installed by my neighbor , There is no fencing between my home and their home to protect my 3 and 5 year old from injuring themselves on either the dirt mound or the open pool area.i am perplexed that such an obvious safety issue was overlooked by your company. read more

We absolutely love our pool. First things first, no matter who you go with for a pool, nothing is going to be perfect. Things happen here and there. We heard stories about all companies. With that said, Cypress did an excellent job. They contract with the best for all parts of the install they don't handle. Our concrete guy Nick was awesome and the folks at Cypress really took care of us. They were fast, transparent and overall good people. Our pool looks amazing and we think it is one of the best decisions we made. They also got it done fast so we could enjoy it the whole summer. read more

Very bad service, outrageous prices. I've always used them as the put our pool in but no more. We would schedule them to open the pool an they would never come as promised. On multiple occasion they took so long to come back after opening the pool the water became green before they could vacuum it. I ended up doing it myself out of frustration, but I was still charged for it. They sell chemical package which we ordered, thinking it would save me time from running back and forth to the store, once again I was wrong. They dropped off half and told me that s what we needed . Wrong again. If it was, I would not have a bitched. On top of all that their website states the amount of stuff u get in the package. Long story short I ended having to pick up the rest of the order our self as they would not drop it off. BUYER BE WARE read more

Run, do not walk, away from Cypress Pools. They delivered the wrong template and when a new one showed up it was backward. We should have stopped right there.They installed our pool three seasons ago and left rocks under the liner. They told us they would be back to fix it and never did. At the end of the season last year, we had them close the pool. The guy couldn't get out of here fast enough. We just found out, when trying to open the pool this year, that water was left in the filter. This lead to a corroded screen and who knows what else. They have NEVER returned our calls. They took our money fast enough but don't have the courtesy to call us back because of their mistakes. read more

I bought a hot tub from Cypress Pools www.cypresspoolsltd.com .....it broke down around almost 3 years later and (no fault of thiers) after waiting to have them fix it for almost 2 years (because they would just never show up) they finally said to me ... Our repair man doesn't want to fix it call Saratoga spa or islander pool knowing dam well they don't have parts for mine....So I called Jay at .. www.jaysprecisionpools.com ... He had to search for the parts but found them and took care of me ... I spent like 10k on this tub so if you are looking for a tub and want it to be backed up for repair I would say never do business with Cypress Pools they are in Latham area near the airport ... it sat so long it cost much more to fix than if they just came to fix it one of the 20 times they said they would Jays number for service and sales 518.312.6000 I don't ever usually do something like this but they are horrible to do business with. read more

BEWARE OF DISHONEST SALES PEOPLE at Cypress Pools Wade Road. Stopped in to order a replacement safety cover for my unground pool. Sat down with Sean and went over a brochure for Premier Safety Covers and picked out model 7000MS which had a 20 year warranty. He gave me an initial estimate and indicated that it may cost a little more depending on the manufacturer which was local but he would have a quote in a couple of days. Approx 2 weeks later I called the manufacturer on a question they had no record of doing business with Cypress. I stopped in and found out they were going through Imperial for a pool cover that was of poorer quality and only carried a 12 year warranty and an increase of $250+. After questioning why they were passing on a different company and quality and not notifying me, Sean had the nerve to get pissy with me for questioning him. Looking at other reviews posted...do business with a reputable company elsewhere. read more

Once again top of the line service and response from Pat Conlon and Gary and Kevin. They did my pool install 18 years ago a 24 x 44 Mountain Lake. Never had a problem in 18 years. I contacted Pat told him I needed a new liner. He emailed me the liner colors on a Friday. I made my selection and it was ordered and installed the following week. Once again great service and a professional installation at a reasonable price. My advice is to contact Cypress Pools Pat Conlon @ 783-5232 for all your pool needs. read more
