Amazing and Friendly Staff! The Care was quality and throughout, we will definitely bring our kids back for another seamless experience

My son has already had three visits to the dentist by the time he turned 16 months old, including two teeth cleanings! Yes, this little guy already has a mouth full of chompers. I first started looking into dental care because of a concern with his lip tie. A friend recommended this office after having a good experience bringing his own kids here. When my son was a newborn, I got two different opinions on his lip tie which were from his pediatrician and an ENT. But once his teeth started coming in, I felt it was time to get a third opinion from a pediatric dentist. I really appreciate how spacious and clean the waiting area is. There are plenty of toys and play areas to keep little ones entertained. My son especially loves the playhouse and the train/car table. Once we check in, I usually let him play for a bit before he gets called back. The teeth cleaning process itself is quick and simple. A gentle brush is all it takes at this age. Afterward, he gets to pick a prize (a nice touch to help calm him down), and then the doctor comes in to check his gums and teeth before we're on our way. As a concerned mom, I do sometimes worry about my son being disruptive to other patients. I really wish there was a private room or closed-off area for toddlers, just to help minimize distractions and make the experience a little easier for everyone. More recently, my son had a fall on a stone pavement and chipped his tooth. I called the office right away, and thankfully they were able to fit him in. The doctor performed X-rays and despite all the tears, she gave us clear guidance, a care sheet, and a list of soft foods to help with his recovery. Luckily, there was no serious damage. Taking your baby to the dentist is never easy, and I'm sure it'll get better with time. But overall, I'm really happy with the care and attention my son has received from the staff here. read more

I absolutely love it here! My six year old son has autism and he was treated so well, from the private room accommodation, to the doctor taking time to chat with me so that she could understand my son's differences. He has been to several dentist, but she is by far the best! This was the first time that he did not cry during an exam. She talked him through each step, and I truly love and appreciate her patience! She also thoroughly explained why we should wait to get a procedure that another dentist was pressuring us to initiate for our son. I am so grateful that we found her! read more

Dr. Shelton and her team are AWESOME! With 8 kiddos, I had previous experience many years ago with pediatric dentistry (and it was quite stressful). So, when my two youngest girls both had not-so-great reports after a cleaning at our regular dentist, I felt so stressed at the thought of going through that again! My dentist (Tropical Dental Care in Tomball - also awesome!) gave me a few business cards with their top picks for pediatric dentistry. I chose Cypress Pediatric Dentistry. Now that we've experienced Cypress Pediatric, I know that I had no cause to stress. The way Dr. Shelton runs her office with her team, the visits are fun and peaceful. My girls love walking through the little door to enter the office. The staff is kind and gentle. They have mom stick around w/their children, so that kiddos stay at ease (that surprised me - I get the logic that some offices use regarding children going on their own - but this new paradigm really worked great!). Dr. Shelton did fantastic, fast work. After bringing my daughter home yesterday, I asked her all about her experience. As far as she was concerned, it was totally positive... the little door; the show she got to pick to watch through the entire appt; the sleepiness that came over her/the nap she took; the treat she got to pick out at the end (oh yeah!! Batman!!). Then, I was surprised to receive a call after dinnertime from Dr. Shelton, checking to see how my daughter was. Wow! I'm so impressed... Wow! What an amazing doctor and staff!! I brought in three kids (ages 11 to 2) and made a mistake by coming in the day before the appointment. This amazing staff went above and beyond and worked us in! The facility was clean and super child friendly- my 2 year didn't even want to leave. The dentist was kind and knowledgeable. She explained everything so well and with patience. The hygienists spoke to my boys and explained the importance of good oral health in a way that they understood. I was SO impressed with my visit to Cypress Pediatric Dentistry. The office was clean and welcoming, with plenty of toys to keep the kiddos entertained. But what impressed me even more was the staff. Every single person there was incredible with my children. Having special needs children makes many things difficult including medical visits. CPD made it a great experience for both of my boys, so much so, I was shocked! This dentist office is my favorite pediatric office we've been to yet! They took all 4 of my children in one visit. The hygienist was so patient and understanding with both my younger AND older children. The dentist was awesome at holding my older children responsible for their less than desired brushing habits and worked through their discomfort by explaining every step of the process to them. She was patient and engaging with all the children. They also have an awesome waiting area with tons of toys and a play area in the back that kept the children busy while they each took their turn in the chair! Took my 1 year old today for his first appointment and I was very pleased! They made his first dentist experience very fun.

From the moment we arrived the entire staff and safety protocols exceeded expectations. We were able to text upon arrival so we did not have to wait in the waiting room, they promptly texted back for us to come in, the facility was clean, mask usage was enforced, and temps were checked. The entire staff was welcoming and super warm and engaging. From the second we walked in my daughter was giggling and having fun talking to everyone. Even during COVID times when masks are a must and toys have to be kept away the staff and Dr. Kelcie made this a perfectly wonderful experience for my kids. It was their first time to the dentist and they LOVED it! Everything was pristinely clean and the staff bent over backwards to make my kids feel welcomed, cared for, and not anxious. They put on a favorite TV show for my one-year-old, walked both kids through everything they were doing and were so patient with them. The most awesome and caring staff! My son's tooth started hurting on Good Friday. I called to make an appointment. I didn't expect for him to be seen that day! Katie at the front desk is awesome! She called me right back and said they didn't want him to have to wait until next week so Dr. Kacie said to bring him in, she will see him after the last patient for the day. Even though we were there after closing time they were so welcoming and so sweet to my son. He was comfortable and relaxed the whole visit, and he enjoyed watching tv while he was in the chair. As for the office, it's super clean and bright. The Pac-man machine was a big hit with my boys. We will be taking both boys to Dr. Kacie from now on. read more
