My son has already had three visits to the dentist by the time he turned 16 months old, including…read moretwo teeth cleanings! Yes, this little guy already has a mouth full of chompers. I first started looking into dental care because of a concern with his lip tie. A friend recommended this office after having a good experience bringing his own kids here. When my son was a newborn, I got two different opinions on his lip tie which were from his pediatrician and an ENT. But once his teeth started coming in, I felt it was time to get a third opinion from a pediatric dentist. I really appreciate how spacious and clean the waiting area is. There are plenty of toys and play areas to keep little ones entertained. My son especially loves the playhouse and the train/car table. Once we check in, I usually let him play for a bit before he gets called back. The teeth cleaning process itself is quick and simple. A gentle brush is all it takes at this age. Afterward, he gets to pick a prize (a nice touch to help calm him down), and then the doctor comes in to check his gums and teeth before we're on our way. As a concerned mom, I do sometimes worry about my son being disruptive to other patients. I really wish there was a private room or closed-off area for toddlers, just to help minimize distractions and make the experience a little easier for everyone. More recently, my son had a fall on a stone pavement and chipped his tooth. I called the office right away, and thankfully they were able to fit him in. The doctor performed X-rays and despite all the tears, she gave us clear guidance, a care sheet, and a list of soft foods to help with his recovery. Luckily, there was no serious damage. Taking your baby to the dentist is never easy, and I'm sure it'll get better with time. But overall, I'm really happy with the care and attention my son has received from the staff here.

Figured we would get her teeth cleaned while were there. We had the most pleasant experience with Dr Moon. Her staff was very welcoming and Dr Moon is very good with kids. If I lived in the area, I would definitely switch over to her. Thank you for making it a pleasant experience for us!

The office is nice and clean, they are all friendly and accommodating. We never wait long in the lobby. Dr. Moon is so easy to talk to, she's smart and experienced, she's socially savvy and she just gets it. She knows how to run a good practice and leads a great team. We've lived in the area for 10 years and had tried multiple other dentists. One pediatric dentist we visited in Riverstone wouldn't let me go with my children for exams, they all disappeared behind a clouded door while I sat in the lobby. That made me very uncomfortable. In Dr. Moon's office, you're with your kids every moment of the appointment, even if they are having dental work done in the rear rooms. This was really important to me. We recently moved about 15 mins further from the office but I will still continue to use Dr. Moon. The only thing difficult is that many people have discovered how awesome she is, so it's pretty busy, especially during school breaks. I actually hesitated to write a review because I don't want her to get busier! But she will whether I write this review or not, many people recommend her in local forums. You might have to wait to get an appointment but your children will receive care from an excellent dentist.

Came in with a pre screening for fillings for my toddler. After a 40 min wait non iv sedation, went on the table strapped her down then the doctor comes in with all these other recommendations as my child growing increasingly anxious. Tactics used to force you into hasty & costly decisions. By this time my child's unnerved and resisting. Talked me into pulling a tooth and inputting a spacer. Said the filings the diagnosed previously were just stains. Said she was too anxious after pulling the tooth and to come back for the spacer they had already charged me for. Sent me a notice shortly after that stating they refuse to do oral sedation she'd have to get IV which is extremely expensive and not covered by insurance. No concern about the unprofessional ambush after stalling her down and stalling with recommendations until she got restless. Refused to give me x rays the day of and multiple times after. I've sent written requests as well., still no x-rays. Excuses like their email was down and they didn't know when it would be up. Still haven't got a refund for the unpreformed procedure.
