Her assignment was to help us identify any learning deficits or maturity issues. Instead she reported that our then seven year old would not amount to much and to have very low expectations of her. This child was a bright and vibrant child who was not on the autistic spectrum or any other behavioral/emotional spectrum. We also had billing problems with her. Please take heed if thinking of using her. And probably to Dr. Smith's chagrin my daughter is doing well and earned Student of the Month!!

Alexis is an amazing beautiful soul. She is an incredibly insightful & perspective therapist…read more This past Saturday, I attended Alexis 4hr Experimental Workshop for Women finding where our success and happiness intersect called Identity Maintenace with Alexis Maron. I attended this workshop already in a healthy relationship, family, state of mind and place in my life. My goal was to overcome my fear to move forward on a goal I set 4 years ago. I have accomplished so many other goals but this particular goal, I've taken many courses to help me move forward in the past but I just couldn't understand why I was struggling. Within this short 4 hours, WOW, did I find out WHY. I am beyond thankful for Alexis teachings, the WHOLE course was mind-blowing in a positive way. The best part was, I've learned more about myself without her really saying anything. It was her creative games that helped us all, including the ladies who attended (which I would like to add, we all connected so beautifully), for whatever purpose brought us there, find our breakthrough to move forward. My message to anyone reading this: I've been through ALOT in life, since I was 5 years old. Investing in yourself is one of the best return on investments you can make. It goes back to the idea that if you give yourself first, you'll have more available to others. Note: Alexis has helped my 19 year old son as well, overcome his struggles with life. Now, he hires her for Life Coaching, which I am so very thankful for.

Most importantly though is her genuine desire to help. Unlike other therapists I have seen, Alexis is fully engaged and present in our sessions unlike anyone else. She makes you feel like you are her only client and she is there to truly help you in your evolution of growth and change as person. Because of her I am able to see life's challenges and demands in new ways that I never would have seen before. And finally, Alexis is not only a great therapist and listener but she enables you with your own set of tools to be able to face life's challenges head on, which to me is the sign of a great therapist! I am forever grateful for what she has done for me!

She always asked thoughtful questions, gave realistic homework to work on between sessions, and genuinely inspired me to want to change and move forward. One thing to note is that Nicole isn't the type of therapist who just sits and listens. She offers her opinions and advice, which I haven't seen many therapists do. Sometimes those are hard truths, but nearly every time she turned out to be right. Her approach, which is grounded in research and data, properly framed our discussions and helped me face issues with confidence. From my very first conversation with Dr. Nicole, she made me feel comfortable. She took the time to tell me about herself, asked thoughtful questions about my daughters, and really wanted to understand their personalities and needs. What I appreciated most was how personal and collaborative the process felt. She took the time to get to know both me and my girls, and we worked together throughout their journey. I could share things going on in their lives that might help guide conversations during sessions, and she was always supportive and understanding. She was also incredibly flexible and helpful with our constantly changing schedules. Most importantly, both of my daughters genuinely enjoy their sessions with her and feel connected and comfortable talking with her. I'm so grateful that she has been a safe and open door for them as they've grown up -- especially through big milestones like one of them graduating. I've truly been able to see positive emotional growth and maturity in both of them. As an added bonus, she was able to work with our Kaiser insurance, which made the process even easier for our family. I highly recommend Dr. Nicole to any parent looking for someone caring, personable, and genuinely invested in helping kids thrive.
