Love Cyclebar! This was my first time riding at the Sherman Oaks location. Everyone was so nice and I received a big welcome. They helped me checked in, pick out shoes, get a locker and find my bike. Once I set up my bike it was time to ride. The instructor was super friendly and full of energy. She hyped us all up and kept that same energy throughout. It was great motivation to pull through. When the ride was finished, we were offered a cold towel to cool down. Loved that! There restroom was clean and full of essentials ( tampons, hair ties, mints, deodorant etc). I'm not a regular cycler but Cyclebar makes me feel comfortable and safe while pushing my body for the workout. The instructors are energetic and fun and makes sure you feel safe during the ride. I love how they check in on you before and after the class. Once I'm more settled in this area I plan on coming here regularly and hoping to convince my friends to come with. read more

Absolutely loved coming to Cyclebar Sherman Oaks! Everyone is super friendly and my instructor Elanna was incredible. I have taken cycle classes before but was unfamiliar with this type of bike. They graciously helped me set up and explained the knobs. Parking is easy and a lot is directly behind the studio (they validate up to 2 hours). After riding for almost a year exclusively at CycleBar Thousand Oaks, my fave location just three minutes from my house SHUT DOWN. I was going six days a week and had built an amazing community of amazing riders and instructors. So when I tell you that I was DEVASTATED, that's an understatement. I bopped around trying to find a new home. I became a bit of a CycleBar trollop, if you will. A scallywag. No focus, no home, just getting my spin kicks in Culver City, Burbank, Manhattan Beach, Rancho Mirage, Westlake Village, even the Nomad location when I was in New York for a conference. Girl, I was in the streets. Finally, I found a home at CycleBar Sherman Oaks and it's absolutely worth the 30 min drive from my home in Thousand Oaks (45 in traffic). The intructors are lovely. The music is fire. The new Strenth format whoops my ass weekly and I wouldn't have it any other way. Plus, my fave instructors Rondell and Megan have transferred to Sherman Oaks too, so I have a little piece of home. 10/10. Highly recommend. Do subscribe. read more

I absolutely love this place! So far all of the instructors I've taken have been soooo good. It's such a cute place, super clean and new. You get a locker to put all of your things in before class. They give out towels and shoes (if you don't have your own). There are people available to help you with your bike set up and after class you get a cold refreshing eucalyptus towel .... Super refreshing after a sweaty class! There's a parking lot in the back and you get 2 hour validation. You also get your stats emailed to you at the end of class with a Spotify link to the instructor playlist (mind blowing)!!! I don't think it gets any better than this! My friend and I came here for the first time and absolutely loved it. First, they did a very cute gesture as first timers and wrote welcome with our name on the lockers in markers. It was very welcoming right away. The owner is awesome and even helped me adjust my bike before class started. The fellow riders are super too. The instructor had a great energy and great music! We did the classic ride which was challenging but not extreme. The instructor kept it interesting, and you get a full body workout during the course of 45 mins. The whole studio vibe is awesome, and they give you validation for parking! Very clean and at the end of class you are handed a nice cold towel. It was lovely. I've been an indoor cyclist for over 5 years now, I've been to numerous studios (in & out of California), CYCLEBAR Sherman Oaks is FIVE STAR! Here's why: BIKES: Brand new bikes. They are beyond comfortable & very easy to adjust. Love the slightly narrow handle bars to really make you fit your proper spin form. Nobs on the are big and easy to use! The bikes ride so clean, no squeaks, just smooth riding! INSTRUCTOR: Dana was my instructor. She absolutely killed it. The playlist was fire with current up to date songs and even a couple remixes of classics I've never heard before! YES YES YES! Not to mention her energy was THERE when I needed it to get through the runs! Best of all it was a balanced class with runs, jogs, climbs and SOME DANCING! (Did I mention we did arms? SCORE) STUDIO: Lockers are so cool, they each have a handwritten note to give you that inspiration & believe me sometimes when you've had a long day, that little empowering note goes a long way! Everything was CLEAN (huge deal for me) and they even provide with a towel before AND after your class! (eucalyptus scented wet towels after?! PSH SAY LESS, MAJOR POINTS). LOCATION: You see it's on Ventura and might think "Uh oh, that's a nightmare for parking?" Yea nope. PARKING IS SO EASY, they have a parking lot in the back so you don't have to drive around looking, LETSSS GOOO! OVERALL: Um overall is THIS PLACE ROCKS. My favorite place to destress, have fun and burn off some calories. I've been going to this studio for a year now and I love it more and more every time I'm there. The owner Dana is the sweetest most genuine person you can meet. The instructors are all awesome! They coach you on riding properly and motivate you to push yourself physically and mentally. They really are like therapists with their positive and inspiring words for in the gym and out in your daily life. They provide the riding shoes, towels and water if you take your own bottle so all you need to do is get your self there and they'll handle the rest! What a welcoming, small-town feel fitness joint! My friend and I walked in to be greeted warmly by our names upon arrival. Having never met either of these smiling humans before, we were pleasantly surprised to hear them call us by name. That was just the beginning of the kindness Dana and Fabian showed to us that day! We saw our lockers with our names and a motivational greeting on them. We were given cycling shoes to borrow for the session. We were shown to our bikes and helped with proper set up, which was very appreciated. Knowing it's our first ride, Dana thoroughly explained everything kindly and patiently. After the ride, she even helped me understand what may have gone wrong with my posture to cause my knees to hurt a bit during the ride. For next time, she said to take her class, and she'd ensure proper form throughout. We took Fabian's class and felt he did a great job! Kind guy with good energy. I like the added effects of changing lights during the ride, and the cold eucalyptus towel you're handed at the end is such a nice touch. They also have a water station in case you run out.
