The customer service here is absolutely amazing, one of the workers named Adam was extremely helpful when I asked questions. He answers them genuinely and keeps the light in the room. Excellent customer service, thank you Adam! read more

Went in there to buy one item! Should have been a quick transaction. Instead I am left standing there for 15 minutes while other customers are being helped. Was never acknowledged once. Won't be returning to this location. read more

Told me the set of foot pegs worked for my year make and model, and they in fact did not fit I tried to return them and they said no returns due to package being open like how am I suppose to know they fit or not without taking them out the package? Would not spend my money here ever again read more

I called the store inquiring about tires. Herrison helped me out on the phone. I went in and purchased a tire....Herrison was very polite and knowledgeable on some tires. Purchased my tire and brought it back couple of days later with my bikes rim for mounting and balance. He personally took care of my rim and tire mounting. He said " I took care of your rim and tire since your rim was so clean and shiny wanted to make sure it didnt get scratch" read more

Some dork with a shitty smirk told me that it would take 24 hrs to mount a tire. "F"that place and that dork. Turns out anyone can do that shit. The guy at Modesto Tire did it in 20min read more

Cycle Gear - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Modesto, California

130 Sunday just went in there with my son to get gloves. older white man with a beard working there too busy while I stood at the register waiting and waiting felt like yelling. It's pretty rude to make somebody wait while you have a stupid ass conversation with somebody. read more

we went in to look for dirtbike boots and pants and randy helped us the entire time a very nice man highly reccomend shopping here for your needs staff is very friendly read more

Great help everyone knows their stuff. Always find something I need while picking up something I want.

Dropped in to try on some sizes of a helmet I wanted to purchase. Kevin was more than glad to assist on finding the helmet model and different sizes so I could try them on. The store didn't have the exact graphics I wanted, but he helped get it ordered online and worked with me to make it happen. Super patient. Definitely worth dropping by. We need more Kevin's in the world read more

While the store staff was nice when I ordered my motorcycle gloves the company fails miserably. I ordered gloves for a particular ride and over two weeks later they haven't shown up. I called after no updates and I was told a refund would be started last Friday. I call Monday and there has been an update in the shipping and I should get it in two days like they said before. Horrible customer service and I will return the gloves immediately and I will never buy another thing from this store or Cycle Gear as a whole. Terrible business. read more

Short story Went in for a phone mount and the first person to help me was very helpful however the parts I ordered did not fit my bike so I went back I was a bit frustrated with the whole set up. The second person to help me was very knowledgeable and quickly fixed my problem. Great service! Thank you! read more

Got two tires mounted and balanced yesterday it was great the job got done right when they said it would and everything was awesome

Anytime I need something for my motorcycle I make the drive from Patterson to come here.My go to place for any motorcycle parts or gear .They're also super helpful with any questions you might have ! read more

They have a good selection to choose from. They're like RevZilla except that you don't have to pay shipping, since they're local. Strictly business, just get in and out. Get your things. Support your local shops. The customer service is lacking, though. I didn't receive any help when I went in. I reserved an item three times. First one, I got an out of stock email. The second and third time, they never finished my reservation. I tried calling them to ask a question, too. They don't seem to answer their phone. If they could hustle more, I'd give the place 5 stars, but since I had a question that was never answered, I never got to exchange my item. I didn't want to deal with them anymore, so I just kept my oversized shoes. read more

Randy. You're customer service.... objectively sucks... Yeah bro, I know you do not have my brake lines in stock, but you can order them. How about you use your computer to check into this instead of saying, "NAH DUDE WE DON'T HAVE THOSE." I fucking know you don't have those, but you can have them shipped in. Tell me how much, and how long it will take instead of acting like you don't need a job. Cycle gear lost out on a 150$ plus sale because randy is a dick. read more

We came in today and was incredibly impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff was.. we will happily give our five stars!

Today I went here to have them swap my Sena headset from one helmet to another. The guy "couldn't get the Sena tightened right" so he used a sticky pad to hold it onto the helmet.... and on top of it, he didn't put the padding back into my old helmet properly. Poor service. The end. read more

I'm brand new to riding. I came here and spent hundreds of dollars on new gear and paid to sign up for the riders plus membership because I want to support a local business. It's very discouraging to come in the one time I need help and be completely dismissed by the owner. He was rude, made me feel like I was inconveniencing him, and flat out walked away when I asked for help. I've seen several other reviews of customers being treated poorly. I'll go to Revzilla where everything is much cheaper. read more

I always went here because I thought the guys that worked here were cool, fellow veterans. Every other establishment offering military discounts extends to same discount to spouses, not this cycle gear. I sent my wife to take my son to pick out a helmet while I was at work and they refused the discount even after I talked to him on the phone. All this after I've seen them give people a military discount who have never served. Must've been crayon munchers. I'll be taking my business to the Fresno cycle gear now, I suppose. read more

Came in to buy a helmet with my boyfriend. Sam, the assistant manager, helped us out and she was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and very kind. We bought a helmet after taking about 20 minutes of her time. She went over the catalog with us, was more than happy to show us examples of the different types of helmets and explain how they should fit and feel. Overall a fantastic experience. Law enforcement, fire department, and military receive discounts as well. Would recommend to anybody and everybody. read more

Everyone was so nice and willing to go out of their way to help and answer any questions you may have - thanks cycle gear team

Very nice staff. Thats what counts for me. I don't care so much about the stock or size of location. The staff is intricate to my opinions about a business! They're on point. Went in looking for a vest and a young lady helped immediately and she guided to me the right vest. She knew about the vest too. I walked out with the purchase of a vest and I was a happy customer. Will return. read more

Went in for a tire that the website said was in stock, long story short it wasn't and dude that was helping me was Colin, he got me an even better tire for an unbelievable price. Lower than JP cycles etc. I'll be a life long customer to Modesto cycle gear after the service I received today. Thanks Collin read more

Nice place to find your riding gear and staff are very helpful and accomodating to customers.

Came in to mount a tire, I guess lady (Jen) who does it while I was there had more important things to do then work. I understand taking a lunch break but then she took a break to go to the bank. I waited 3 hrs for one wheel. There was 3 wheels ahead of mine but I know for a fact it does not take that long. She was nice and did a great job other wise. Hope she changes her work habit. read more

Pretty lame customer service. And they're inventory is lame too. Little to no help. I was ready to buy gear the day I went in, but then I decided to take my money elsewhere. read more

Staff goes above and beyond to help you out and find you the best product with the best value based on your needs specifically. They go out of their own way to help you find just what you need within your budget (went so far that they were looking for products I was interested in online and at other Cycle Gear locations to have shipped over just for me.) They aren't pushy, impatient, or trying to sell you the most expensive gear or just whatever they have in stock. Staff, in a very friendly manner, let me know of another store in the area that may have stuff I needed, but they were literally so great and accommodating, I didn't want to bother spending my money elsewhere. I wouldn't have spent my money at another store even if it had been another Cycle Gear. Rick in particular spent a lot of one-on-one time getting to know me, my needs, my interests, and was extremely eager to help me based off that knowledge. His warmth and kindness blew me away. The lady working with him that day (I didn't get her name!) Was also fantastic, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and eager to help. It was my first time at a Cycle Gear location and I was being treated like a long-time regular customer rather than a brand new face. Second time visiting, I was personally greeted by name by Rick again, and another wonderful lady helped me out super quick and with great service. I'm new to all this but I will be shopping for all of my future riding gear from Cycle Gear. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you're new to riding and need some welcoming, friendly, knowledgable people to guide you along the way. read more

I like the place they stock the most common items needed for your motobike. Tire prices, clothing, and few other items usually kill motorcycle dealership prices. When you go in ask for Sam for the best service. All the employees are actually awesome and the manager is wonderful. I don't work there but many times I wish I did. It would have saved me tons when I used to own seven bikes, now I only have four bikes. read more

Me and my wife Went in to buy a helmet for me the old man that help me out was very nice took his time to show me the helmet for me. Had best attitude. He told me to buy the helmet that best suited me but same time showed me helmets that he thought I like. Grate service. Even from the other staff members. But old man was grate. And with his help I choose best Helmet for me. read more

This is one of the shops that both my husband and I shop at. If you are into riding, they have a pretty good selection of jackets, jersey, helmets - basically all of the riding gear you would need. I have also noticed when I am there, they will suggest marked down items that are considerably less than new inventory - they are not pushy at all. Not only is their staff friendly, but they are also helpful and if they don't have items in stock, they offer to find it for you at another store and have it shipped for you (no charge on the shipping) to save you a trip. read more

This place needs a lot of changes. First every time I go in there the place is a mess. Second the people who work there need an attitude adjustment. Went in today and the guy that I asked for help seemed like he wasn't interested in helping. I really like the two stores in the Sacramento area. read more

Went in on mother's Day to get a new tire nobody in the store but us, nice. The installation guy JJ had trouble changing the tire and left about a half inch of grease on the side wall and top of tire because he could not mount the tire correctly. He made excuses saying this tire has problems beading absolutely ridiculous we were pissed off we were told it would take about 30 minutes we waited over an hour for one tire!Call corporate twice!! still have not received a phone call back I guess they don't give a shit. I would stay clear and find somebody else to change a tire if you need it,avoid the problems! read more
