I have 1 of their CLX Scarab pc's and the customer service is ok but can be better. I asked em more then once for a copy of my orders specs cause I don't have my copy and they sent me someone else's order information with their address on it. I purchased a $700 Cybertron PC gaming computer from Walmart. When the PC arrived, the video card was not working. So I contact their support and after going through their troubleshooting, I was given instructions on how to use the onboard GPU. I had to remove the video card and find a box to put it in. Cybertron sent me a return label via email to which I advised I do not have a printer. The rep said that's ok, UPS will pick it up anyway. Not true. UPS informed me they will not take the GPU back unless the return label is attached to the box. They said Cybertron would need to issue a "call tag" where the UPS driver comes out with the label instead of me having to deal with it. So I contact tech support again and request a call tag . They refused and said I need to find a way to print out the label. I was advised to take it to a public library or a UPS store. I was prepared to say screw it and just eat the loss on the video card since the onboard video was working fine. A few days later, the entire PC goes dead. Won't turn on and no internal lights or lighted keyboard/mouse (bad power supply). So now I have to send the entire system back. I contact tech support again and was told that the ticket was updated and to box up the PC and return it via UPS Store. It cost me an additional $17 for a box and to print out the return label and off it goes. It takes them 2 months to repair and return the machine and after about 30 days of use, the power supply has failed again. Instead of dealing with the same process again, I will buy a new upgraded PSU and install it myself. Based off the fact that I was shipped defective merchandise twice, I would not buy anything else from this company and I would not recommend anyone else buy from them either. read more

Stay away from this horrible PC builder at all costs. I purchased a mid-range gaming desktop through Amazon from this seller and experienced nothing but issues from day one. Rather than writing a long essay here's a quick bullet list of problems which have yet to be resolved: -Faulty / problematic OS SSD provided -Sticky residue on GPU -Missing Asrock CPU cooler mounting brackets -Wrong power supply originally provided (took roughly a week to resolve and I had to install it myself) -The fact that I had to wait roughly 2 weeks from the date of purchase to actually be able to use the system which narrows the return window -Slow support response times It begs the question, why purchase a computer from this organization? You could buy a better pre-built system for the same price at a brick and mortar store in your area. I've had to waste quite a bit of my precious time dealing with this system and could've saved a lot of headache by spending my money elsewhere or building the computer myself. Thank goodness this isn't my primary system or I'd be in trouble. P.S. I'm still waiting to hear back from their support for the 2nd time so I can hopefully get a functioning system that I paid for over a month ago. ***Update as of 07/02/2019 So the issue with the faulty drive has been resolved. They made me pay collateral in order to send out a replacement (which I have yet to receive a refund for and why would I ever keep a faulty SSD to begin with?). I then had to back up my data, create installation media, reinstall Windows, drivers, apps, custom configurations, etc. To add insult to injury the support supervisor was giving me attitude when discussing options in order to remedy the situation. As if it's my fault they sold me a problematic system and have super slow shipping which potentially goes beyond standard return windows. All in all I've had to spend several hours being a PC tech troubleshooting and fixing my own BRAND NEW computer. If I wasn't a tech savvy customer it would have been even more of a headache. Again just to reiterate you can go to a local store and just buy a computer, plug it in, turn it on, and you're off to the races. It took nearly 2 months to actually get a fully functional computer which is absurd. Needless to say I will not be buying from this company ever again. 2 stars for the hardware and specs, -3 stars for the horrible experience and service. read more

Terrible service. Hard drive was left to bounce around inside the cage. Defective Graphics should have been caught in testing of build but was shipped. Operating system was not installed on the NVME but instead on the HD. Prolonged response times to customer support. Nothing but excuses every step of the way. read more

I will never Purchase a Cybertron PC again. I purchased a desktop gaming computer. My daughter was going to have a friend build her one. When we get to Fry's the sales person states that he has this PC made by Cybertron and it works great for gaming! well I convinced my daughter to buy it after she said it wasn't a good idea. I bought it thinking it would be easier than having it built!. Well people I'm hear to tell you to listen to your children!!!!!!!! So I went to return it, Did you know that you can not return a computer back to Fry's if it's not restored to factory settings? Well you can't! My daughter didn't tell me she couldn't restore it so the Fyr's tech said I could not return it. Then they call the sales guy to speak with me, he askes me did I call Cybertron and tell them about this error? I said no how was I supposed to know this was an error and why can't you guys just restore it. Oh no we can't you have to call Cybertron and have them help you. So I email Cybertron because I'm in California and they are in Kansas! So their tech team sends me an installation of windows and 2 how to videos! and basically I have to do it myself and call them if I'm still having issues. Really!! not even Best Buy does this! So after almost 2 hours having to install the windows installation on a USB or a CD going through the computers DOS mode changing the BOOST to USB then watching the how to youtube video on the steps. Can you imagine if I wasn't computer Savvy. I finally was able to restore the computer. Then I get an email from Cybertron telling me how their tech team helped me restore my computer. Really? I think not! all you did was give me the software and I did it myself. Two things I will never do again is Shop at Frys and purchase another PC from Cybertron ever again. read more

POSITIVES - perfect customer service, prices that beat all other companies with decent customer service, you decide what components to include in your pc NEGATIVES - not a few minutes down the highway in Los Angeles like a few of their competitors The gaming pc I ordered did not ship on its estimated shipping date (probably due to the unusual configuration I requested). This gave me an excuse to call customer service to check status. I talked to two different customer service reps on different days. Both were intelligent, polite and very helpful. The second promised to call back, and did after a 20 minute trip to the warehouse to find my pc. Although the total order-to-shipping time was only 3 weeks (much less than horror stories I've read about at other companies), the customer service reps were so apologetic that I felt bad for them. I checked the prices at Cybertron against some competitors. For the same hardware, the prices at competitor websites were a few hundred dollars more than the $2400 I spent at Cybertron. Only a couple of Los Angeles competitors were a tiny bit cheaper on the initial purchase in March, but in April Cybertron lowered their price to match those competitors. Plus, these two other companies have bad reputations in terms of quality and customer service. Another great advantage with Cybertron is that you control what parts you get. On the Cybertron website, I could pick, for example, a specific power supply as 'Commander III 800 800W ATX 80PLUS GOLD PSU'. On the Alienware website, I could not pick specific parts. Out of curiosity, I contacted an Alienware service rep who said I could pick a specific power supply, but only as 'Alienware™ 850 Watt Multi-GPU Approved Power Supply'. Without specifics, I would translate that to 'whatever substandard or unwanted parts we have laying around'. Of course, the Cybertron computer worked great from day one. It runs Windows and Linux, games at 4K, and looks like it will last forever. read more

I purchased a custom computer from CybertronPC on December 7, 2015 and have had trouble ever since. Before finalizing my purchase I asked to make sure the computer would easily be capable of preforming the tasks I need to. I was told it would be above capable. After trying to talk to someone and fixing the computer by what they told me to do I attempted to return it for another computer on December 14, 2015. After shipping the computer I was told that I could not return the computer, but have it fixed. Well, they fixed the ONE problem. And also told me that they would load all the drivers and Windows on my computer before shipping to make sure it works and for causing trouble. They didn't. I continued to try and figure out what was wrong since I was given the run around every time I contacted support. After having an outside source look inside (didn't even take the case off/ clear case) I was told that my computer was full of outdated trash and was cheated, especially for how much I paid. After dealing with a computer that is barely good for using the internet on I demand for a refund. The computer is useless. Won't load programs, won't play DVDs, slower than my former & year old computer, and is useless for the projects that I need to do on a daily bases. read more
