It was taking 5 minutes to login, and now up and ready in a minute (keep in mind this is a 7 yr old gateway). In fact, he loaded some free, new anti-virus and clean-up software in his "spare time" (the guy doesn't sleep). Don't waste your time waiting in line for geek squad, just to get 2nd rate service. I returned the computer to have it reset to what it was like when I first took it in. Leo added an icon at the bottom which when clicked on took you nowhere. My husband had recently passed away and Leo deleted his email and all the records of home improvements, pictures and just everything he had, they are just gone as were all the messages, some of which I would reread just for comfort. They were "nice" people but stay away from them. The shop looks like a bomb went off in it. I was very uncomfortable inside. I am still struggling with using my PC. I wish I would have paid a little more and used the Geek Squad.

My wife ended…read moreup dropping our Macbook Pro in the bathtub, after cleaning it myself I noticed the backlight stopped working but the screen was still functioning. After extensive research on how to fix my machine I finally took it to a local UBreakIFix and they told me I needed a new $500 display. This seemed wrong because I knew the display still working, just the backlight was out. Did research and found out it could just be a blown fuse, then I stumbled above iSmartRepair. Thank god I did too, these guys got my machine up and running like it was back to new. Only cost me $150 in the end compared to the $500 display that wouldn't of fixed my backlight problem since it was a logic board issue. Highly recommend these guys, they saved my $3500 laptop from death after taking a swim in the bathtub.
