My family & myself took a Home Safety course on August 7, 2016. We received hands-on instruction…read morefor basic beginner handgun safety & handling (The Firearm Safety in the Home course). We were interested mainly in beginner handgun safety. I know that Buddy & Jerry would customize the course to focus any any particular subject. The course lasted a little more than 2.5 hours and was reasonably priced. Buddy & Jerry are the best. During the course, they explain all the topics thoroughly and work with you to answer any & all questions along the way. They even asked at the end again, if there is anything else they could help with or if there was any topic that we wanted to go over with them. They are genuinely concerned with providing the best instruction and they delivered. The course covered clearing the gun, magazine loading, grip, sight picture, safety concerns \, ammunition, and much more. They assisted us with considerations when buying a handgun, some home-invasion scenarios, and details regarding how a gun functions with hands-on practice with a variety of handguns. The simulator is eye-opening as it presents you with actual real-life situations that place you in a "fire / no fire" position. This is not static range-type targets, but real life sequences - some even police dash-cam videos. The simulator tracks your shots for analysis. The kids enjoyed this part the most, and I think now we all appreciate the responsibility and pressure placed on gun owners and law enforcement officers to practice and to be able to make the proper split-second decisions if ever in that unfortunate situation. We are looking into the CWD class next. Thank you Buddy & Jerry!

This is no-frills full training experience that will get you in shape (and the fitness combat…read moreclasses do a GREAT job of that) with SUPER knowledgeable staff. Already a 5 star experience! But Jeremy's kindness and patience and dedication to his craft is what made me need to review. Given the Delta variant surge, and the ability for vaccinated people to be carriers...I'm not in the best position to participate given my baby niece's immunocompromised status (who, as an infant, isn't vaccinated), and Jeremy worked with me to find a solution that helps me make sure my niece is safe and looked after, but making sure I knew the door stayed open for my own training. God bless TDT and their staff, and their members who go out of their way to motivate and encourage. If you need a gym routine that shakes up the old and in an exciting way, get on the mat and have some fun!!!! I personally can't wait to go back .

Getting the blood pumping. The rest is technique. You will learn a lot of great stuff to use should you have to. Takes a while to get used to especially if you've never done it before, but you leave each class feeling exhilarated and more confident. Classes are offered 4x a week but you can set your own schedule so there is plenty of flexibility. Give it a shot

I would not recommend Baldwin Driver Training. My instructor and the school made me feel like I…read morewould only need six hours of training and then I would be done. That is what my parents and I signed up for and expected. I did not expect that I would have to keep having lessons with my parents. Furthermore, the instructor was not explicit about the consequences of not getting a driver's license, beyond the obvious caveat of relying on other transportation. The instructor did not explain that many employers require a valid driver's license, and thus not getting one hampers the potential for job hires significantly.

According to her, the instructor was very patient and helpful, which is exactly what an anxious student needs. As a parent, though, it was frustrating. Trying to actually schedule in-car time can be a pain in the butt, and it seems clear they don't have any computerized records. It also seems they file by instructor name and class time, rather than by student, but that's a guess based on what they asked whenever I was trying to schedule things. The price is about the same as any other school in the area -- for my other kids I'm likely to check out other schools and see if their organization is a little more straightforward. (To be specific... I've been waiting a day for a call back once they "find" her records. Kid needs her car time to get her license, come on!)
