Then a week later I had him install a belt drive opener with MyQ remotes and app. WOW!! Although we were outside of his service area, Jim still took the time to help us. After getting a $1,400 quote from another company, we contacted Atlantic. Jim spoke with us over the phone, diagnosed the issue right away, told us exactly which parts to buy from a local home improvement store, and even gave us a realistic idea of what a local handyman should charge to install them. He said he'd be happy to walk us through the repair over the phone if we decided to tackle it ourselves -- all completely free of charge! To top it all off, he followed up the next day via text just to see if we'd found someone to help. We ended up spending a little over $400 for parts and installation instead of $1400 thanks to Jim.
