This is no-frills full training experience that will get you in shape (and the fitness combat classes do a GREAT job of that) with SUPER knowledgeable staff. Already a 5 star experience! But Jeremy's kindness and patience and dedication to his craft is what made me need to review. Given the Delta variant surge, and the ability for vaccinated people to be carriers...I'm not in the best position to participate given my baby niece's immunocompromised status (who, as an infant, isn't vaccinated), and Jeremy worked with me to find a solution that helps me make sure my niece is safe and looked after, but making sure I knew the door stayed open for my own training. These guys run a great class The concentration is on pragmatic self defense in everyday situations. For adults, this is what you need. The first 15 mins or so of the class is fitness. Getting the blood pumping. The rest is technique. You will learn a lot of great stuff to use should you have to. Takes a while to get used to especially if you've never done it before, but you leave each class feeling exhilarated and more confident. So far I love it. I've only been coming here for about three weeks but everyone is so welcoming. No matter what stage you are at you are accepted into the family. You get what you put in. I've taken Jeremy's Krav Maga and force-on-force firearms training classes for the past nine months, and find him to be an excellent instructor and practioner. He's able to explain complex subjects, and not only explains the "how" of the technique, but "more importantly why" and "when." First impressions.... I was very skeptical (in my nature) as the facility was comparable to renting a small corner of a warehouse/ workshop with very little to work with, I almost walked away. Honestly however I wasn't there to for the aesthetics and figured I'd give it a shot, glad I did. From the moment I got there all the drills we went through were practical and just made sense. After a technique was demonstrated the instructor explained why the method is used and why it works. The techniques used all appear to have real world applications. The instructor Jeremy did not disappoint and the other class members were very welcoming and seemed like good ppl (Kevin sorry for the choke hold). All in all my first experience while skeptical at first was great and I will be joining. Future post to come on overall experience. read more
