I called up in desperate search of an odd filter size, not expecting much. I was so very surprised that Ben @ CW not only took the time to listen to my rant, but also advised me on a safe and effective workaround to use commonly-found AC filters. Ben not only solved my problem and saved me money without me even being a customer, he called me the next morning to follow up and check to make sure all was well. Thanks to his advice, all is well and I'm happily enjoying AC again. Thank you so much Ben and the CW Mechanical team! I'll be calling you to service our AC regularly from now on. read more

Since buying my unit from them less than 5 years ago we've had nothing but issues! So I shouldn't have expected anything less from them. Tried reaching out all day, even sent emails on their portal and got zero response. Finally after hours of calling someone picked up and it is no longer their number!!! Close to $20,000 in AC & Furnace Units and it's been nothing but a headache!!! read more

I bought an A/C unit 3 years ago and it has already stopped working. When I called on a Friday I got voicemail all day saying they were closed. Who closes on a Friday in the desert? I left two voicemails because the machine said they monitor it but never heard back from them. I also went through the website portal to request help and never got a response there either. When someone pays over $11K for something I think they should expect better customer support than this. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about CW Mechanical and their team. This is how it all started with the wonderful group at CW Mechanical. I moved into my home in Jan 2021, and I was already having problems with my a/c and heating unit. Nothing ever got resolved when I utilized my home warranty to fix my old unfaithful unit. It seemed as if nothing was covered, and I was charged enormous fees to repair the unit. I stopped dealing with my home warranty and tried a few different a/c mechanical companies. They were just as bad as the warranty providers. Thats when I stumbled on to CW Mechanical. These guys were great; they kept that unit running great until it died. When it came time for a new unit, David, the owner was great. He made sure that I got a suitable unit installed. The order was placed on late Friday, and they were installing the unit on Tuesday afternoon. I really appreciate a honest, fair company, and most important, they listen! While everyone was forcing me to replace my unit, CW worked with me, and had my old unit working like it was new until it died. My old unit was 30 years old; they helped me keep it going. Thank you, David and team! I will be recommending you to everyone I know. read more

I had an American standard installed two years ago and at the two year mark it stopped working. CW tried twice to fix it to no avail ( it would just break again the next day). This last time it failed was on a Saturday night at 8 pm. I left a message and within an hour or so, Brittany reached out and sent a technician to install a NEW unit ( same day and within the hour).. all free of charge. Thank you CW read more

Failed inspection, lied about pulling permit, just scheduled the follow up inspection myself First, the initial response from David was great. He gave me a super competitive price for an American Standard system over messages, and then contacted me directly related to getting the HVAC replacement done. He even arranged for the upstairs unit to be installed ahead of time so that we were not without AC. This was all great. Second, the installation personnel were very nice and professional. Thereafter, it was all downhill. David told me that he misquoted the price on the furnace and needed to charge $2000 more. I didn't really care and just wanted it done, but this was the first red flag. Thereafter, he kept telling me that CW had pulled the permit. I know how to check it, link below, so that was a lie. I also know that you can just pull a permit for an emergency replacement online, so I caught them in another lie. After going through all the BS, CW finally applied for a permit and scheduled an inspection. As to the first inspection, they did not tell me when the inspector was coming out, so we missed that one. The second time, the inspector was there, CW did not show up, and he failed it because the installers did not properly glue the gas vent from the furnace together. He told me that he just pulled on it, and it fell apart. Finally, he said that CW didn't install the right breakers for the new AC units. I talked to David. It took forever to get them to come out and fix it and install the promised Nest Thermostat. Thereafter, we tried to schedule another inspection. CW gave me a date and time where no inspector showed up. I followed up without a response. I ended up just calling the County and scheduling the permit inspection myself ((702) 455-8040). All in all, the prices are very good, the equipment is top notch, and the initial installation of the AC unit was amazing, but the inspection failure and the misinformation about the permits was unacceptable. If I didn't know how to check these issues myself, I would likely still be getting the run around. https://citizenaccess.clarkcountynv.gov/CitizenAccess/Cap/CapHome.aspx?module=Building&TabName=Building read more

No words to explain how great my experience was. Ask for Ben he did such a superb job on my unit. I did receive lower quotes from other companies but this was the only one that would include and do everything as well as come right on call. The most important thing especially during the summer is that they come right away and the service was great as well as fixing a few extra parts for me which I really appreciate and didn't even notice as he saved me from more expenses in the future. Thank you Ben! read more

Brand new AC was running little warm and for us locals in Vegas this could be a serious problem. These guys responded in under 5 min and came out 2.5 hours later same day to check it out. Fortunately it was minor but out here you just never know. They will be taking care of maintenance for me biannually now so I don't have to worry and I definitely recommend them. Ben, the technician, was friendly, responsive, informative and great to have here. Thanks all! read more

Great service! Hired them to do a job, but the part was on back order. The unit was cold, so they dropped off several space heaters to keep the unit warm. When the part came in, they completed the work quickly and efficiently. I'm hiring them for regular maintenance and any other heating and AC issues. Thank you! read more

These guys are amazing. I have elderly parents living in Las Vegas and their AC unit went out. Unfortunately, it was one of the hottest times of the week in the middle of summer. My father has a heart condition that would have put him in a very dire situation. David and team understood the urgency of the issue and went out to look at the problem even though they were very busy themselves. They made the effort to come out the SAME day. When they arrived and before assessing the problem, David first made sure that my parents were comfortable and that they weren't suffering from the heat. Once he insured that they were ok, he began to work on the unit. The condenser unit needed to be replaced and David was able to source one for the very next day. He replaced it quickly and tested to make sure that it was working correctly. I should add that my dad tried to call another AC company and they quoted him $13K to 'repair' his AC. When my dad responded in shock, they said he'd do it for $9K. I hope I find the name of this company so I can let you all know. This is the worst example of someone taking advantage of the elderly in a very desperate situation. read more

I have used many professional services in the past, many of which were good. However, Dave and his team were truly exceptional here and beyond all expectations, both time-wise, service-wise, and finance-wise. We had a major issue air conditioning-wise that needed immediate attention. He was there very quickly, and was able to diagnose the situation instantly. What a relief! We had to replace our AC system in a brand new house where we had just moved in. It was dangerous dangerously outdated, and he was able to replace our system very next day, at minimal expense to us. What he and his team want is to keep loyal customers for a long time, so they do everything to get it right so that you have confidence going forward. That's the way to do business. What I also personally enjoyed so much was Dave's passion for Air conditioners. That's right: PASSION. He knows EVERYTHING about them -- all the makes and models, and all the history of air conditioners, too. It's pretty cool. I never thought AC was something one could get passionate about, but here we are. I cannot recommend Dave and his team more highly. We were indeed super lucky to have found him. He was personable, friendly, and super professional. Very likable, too! Thank you SO MUCH, Dave. read more

We are absolutely impressed with the professional service provided by CW Mechanical. When the AC unit went out at our rental property our tenant contacted CW Mechanical for emergency service. Initially we were going to have them service the unit under our home warranty but it was quickly discovered that the AC condenser was running outdated coolant and that the replacement motor would take several days to arrive. We immediately contracted CW Mechanical to install a new unit because Las Vegas summer temps were on the rise. CW mechanical provided us an exceptional bid and they were able to replace the unit in the same day. Once they had completed the installation my wife and I were absolutely impressed with the high quality professional service we received. Ironically within two week after the rental property repairs, both of the units at our home went out. Talk about bad timing but I already knew when we purchased the home that the units would need to be replaced because they were the original units the the home was built. My first and only call was to CW Mechanical and needless to say, they were "Jonny on the Spot". Again we were provided a superior bid for the new units and CW Mechanical (David the Owner) replaced both of my units with top of the line American Standard energy efficient units. We are truly grateful and blessed to have experienced the exceptional service provided and they did not leave until I assured them that we were completely satisfied; David also followed up with me the next day. My wife and I would recommend CW Mechanical to anyone! read more

I was really hoping to like this company. After talking with there ac guy I was disappointed. They were way over priced. They wanted to charge me 810 for a filter rake which cost 20 bucks at lowes. They didn't give me any other options. The ac guy also had a attitude. He tried to tell me I have a coil underneath so I looked and there is no coil underneath.I was also told my coils are to big for my system not sure how he would know that.He wanted to charge 1337 dollars for a coil cleaning. My condensation pump works just fine and he wanted to replace it.He also never went up on my roof to check the air conditioner. He didn't open up my system in my house to look at my coils. read more

I am so happy we found this Company!! Our AC unit gave out on Sunday Afternoon. We called CW Mechanical and they came out to my home the following day. It was 6pm and he still showed up with the best energy and took his time installing the Unit and checking that everything was working perfectly. Thank you!!! read more

They did pretty good job in replacing my AC. David promised to replace my thermostat with the Nest thermostat for free. He indicated that he couldn't install it at that time (during the AC install) due to he didn't have it with him. A week later, I messaged him about it; no response. I messaged him again after 2 weeks; I still didn't hear anything. So, make sure they fulfill their side of the deal when dealing with them. read more

This review is strictly on customer service. It's 113 degrees and everyone on Yelp wanted me to call to get assistance on my AC. When it's hot as hell you don't want to talk to someone when your AC is hot you want results and help. Reynaldo is amazing he diagnosed my problem instantly. He basically walked me through the things he could fix without coming out. This service probably caused him $75-100, but helped me greatly. He did let me know that even though it might resolve my problem temporarily I still need someone to come look at my unit. That's when he let me know he could have a tech at my house today at 6. You don't get service like this anymore. I will definitely recommend CW mechanical to all my friends and family. I will definitely be using him in the future. read more

Great air conditioning service. Robert was very helpful on the phone and sent David within few hours from the call. David was professional, caring and was able to fix the AC unit. Reynaldo was amazing tonight! I cannot say thank you enough to CW Mechanical and Reynaldo for being so quick with a response as well as not charging anything for a diagnosis on our A/C unit. Anyone who has had their AC go out in July in Vegas knows how stressful and terrible that experience can be. Happened to me last night (fortunately at night) and I Yelped a few businesses to get fixed. I messaged CW late Wednesday night and by Thursday morning, David was already at the house and fixing things. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly, but also straight to the point: he identified and fixed my AC issues within 15 minutes. Cold air pouring in again, crisis averted. I honestly chose CW since they had the earliest availability on such short notice, but I'm so very pleased things worked out this way. Thank you, David! read more

My AC stopped working on a Monday evening during the hottest days of summer. It was 115 during the day. A technician came out the next morning. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a burned out capacitor and I had air in minutes. He recommended replacing the fan motor which I was happy to have replaced. He came the next day and despite difficulties with a stuck blade he got my unit fixed up and running like new. When I need to replace my old system I will definitely go with this company. The technician was friendly and professional. He explained patiently what needed to be done and did not try to pressure me to do anything unnecessary. I highly recommend this company. read more
