Stopped in with my daughter ignoring the rating. Let's focus on the good to start. Prices were good, the chilli was loved by my 2 year old and the baby change station was a great bonus. I was surprised to learn that they only had breaded wings, fine, it's been a while. Fries were frozen, did not order. I ordered suicide wings. Sadly, they were anything but. They were some kind of Sysco kinda sauce, lots of sugar, a bit of spice the only thing suicide was the death wish of boring and uninspired wing sauce. The server had to ask the owner/cook as they had a $3 up charge. The owner refused my request. He had stated to the server that it was 'the law' being a former restaurant owner and knowing a thing or two, I knew the response was ridiculous and most of all lazy and closed minded. Not a great way to inspire a return visit. Owner in dire need to give his head a shake. Unlikely to return. Even if you have decent food and don't give enough of a damn to listen to your clientele, why would I or anyone want to return. Service was great in spite of all of this. read more

The owner/greeter here at CW Coops was rude and arrogant. It took the lovely waitress to talk the whole scene down. The service was great. The drinks, fantastic. The wings, however...FUCKING SHIT! How hard is it to fuck chicken wings up? Well, I don't know, but CW Coop's does an A+ job of it for everyone...and then you have to pay serious $$$!!!! I mean, WTF..ie: Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot? Basically my son, whose in his teens and has known the taste of the Duff's thinks this CW cat should be thrown in jail and shut down for being the phony that he really is. CW SUCKS ! Horrible experience. They closed at 8:30 on a Saturday night. We went there at 7pm for some drinks and nachos. The nachos were horrible. Chips so stale. They were out of so many items on the menu. Server was very nice.. not her fault. Needs new ownership. We went home to order food.. read more

Awful customer service. I will never order from this place again and I advice the same for anyone else. We ordered wings, that my friend went to go pick up. The weather and roads were awful this day. CW Coops kept calling us. When I answered the man (along with a female who initially spoke and then passed on the phone to him) aggressively told me that we better pay him $40 for the wings immediately. I told him that my friend was on his way to grab them and as I was concerned about his whereabouts, with the bad weather. I let the rude man know I would contact my friend to let him know the wings were ready. The man kept repeatedly calling me, as we were trying to get ahold of my friend who was picking up the wings. While still waiting for a response from my friend and being very concerned, I received the below text from the number who was also calling me from this restaurant. I have never received a message so horrible, insulting and disgusting in my life.. especially from a business.. terrible and unacceptable customer service. I went here recently after a beach trip to catch the 2nd half of a world cup game. Great location near the beach, decently sized screen (though seemingly not HD), what could go wrong? I ordered the half rack of ribs with fries and a honey pineapple curry sauce (they have lots of sauce choices, kind of like Wild Wings, which I thought was great). After a reasonable amount of time, the food arrived but they were actually wings and not ribs. There were also no fries. I let the waitress know and instead of apologizing, confirming the order, she seemed annoyed and took it away. I am not upset about the mistake as they happen, but the attitude was a little much. A couple of minutes later, she came by again and said the ribs were being made now and that we would not be charged for them as it was her mistake. This was a really nice gesture I was not expecting at all. I received my ribs and they were okay. Half rack seemed small but they were pretty good. Fries were the awful type that you could add a million condiments to and they'd still be tasteless. I should also note my companion's philly cheesesteak sandwich was served on a grocery store hamburger bun. All in all, it was okay pub food as we wouldn't expect much from a place like this. When we ask for the bill she brings it to us and let's us know that instead of taking off the ribs, they just charged us for the wings since those are cheaper. Uhh... what? I did not originally ask for the ribs to be free and if the server was apologetic about the mistake and worked to make it right, that's all I would've needed to have an okay overall experience. If she had offered to discount the ribs, that would've been a nice gesture too. But to offer something and then randomly decide to take it away? What?! After questioning this, she grudgingly just took it off of the bill as originally promised. I struggled with deciding whether 1 or 2 stars was deserved here since they did take it off our bill in the end. But the fact is, the whole ordeal made it an awkward experience which is hardly what you want when enjoying a meal and a game. read more

Being new to the area I figured the best way to go about experiencing the town was by picking an establishment that looked appealing. Looks like a vibrant beach town pub with lots of local flavor. People seemed a bit grumpy but the overall ambiance was ok. Ordered rib tips (app), wings and fries. The rib tips were, terrible, all bone. The wings are your average wings with a plethora of sauce choices. Lets just say I haven't been back all summer. Cheers! read more

Owner does not support locals with disabilities, in fact he has no regard for accessibility challenges for people with mobility issues whatsoever. When asked whether it would be possible to use the CW Coops parking lot so that I (a support worker) could support a local person with a disability to use the basketball court across the street, his response was "not my problem." He said this right in front of the person I was supporting. He would not hesitate to call municipal law enforcement in the future to give me and the person I support with a 120.00$ fine for using the basketball court in his community. My husband and I usually order from Wild Wing but we'd heard that CW Coops had really good wings and so we thought we'd try there for a change. I called to place an order at 6pm on a Tues evening and was told that take out was not going to be available as they had a large party...wait, what?!
