Horrible Customer Service, long wait time to have a prescription filled. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

Very bad experience here about to get money back from MoneyGram at this store !!! The amount $1,050 at the machine show this store only pay$500 cash and the less in money order I accept that but the printer not work . Waiting for the next day . One older lady with eyes glass works there show up and give the manager information in front of me she said loud. This store only pay out $500 max in cash no matter how much the amount !! This is the choice I can choose in one transaction get $500 cash and the less gone !!!! Wtf !!! So where is the $550 go ??? I asked her she just lift her shoulders up like I don't care . This is not right !! I went out and call MoneyGram cus service The guy name Tony he said no they have to pay full amount and he want me to go inside to talk with that lady I went inside store again but she was not there on her break . The worst, most unorganized pharmacy I've ever used. Since I've been a customer they have lost my px's, they don't get the px approved by your insurance and try to charge you full price saying it's needs approval. They also over charge for scripts when you compare to other pharmacies. I get texts telling me it's time to order my px so I do then I get told it's too soon to order. This week I called in a refill, I get a text today that it's ready so I go to pick it up and though it's filled and in a bag they can't sell it because it's expired? Are you kidding me! I'm done. Don't get me started on the employees! I've given them far to many chances. Switching everything over to Publix pharmacy. I used Publix 1 time already and what a huge difference. Ok...I am afraid of this CVS. On my way home from Dairy Queen, I decided to stop and get some beer. Publix was already closed and CVS was right there. GREAT! As soon as I stepped through the doors of this CVS I had eyes from several patrons lock on me. Say what!?! I just figured I was paranoid -- as usual -- and went for the closest associate who pointed me toward the cooler. The entire time eyes and bodies were following me. Was going to CVS since it right down the street. But so is Walgreens. Which I will be taking my business there from now on and will make sure everyone I know to do so also. Well I pulled up to CVS and noticed I needed to get some cash since I bank across the street at Wells Fargo I figured I'd just run over there and get some cash to spend at CVS. Well when I got back my car was booted and all cause I ran to WF. So instead of getting what I needed at CVS. I ended up paying $65.00 to pay for the removal of the boot. This CVS is the absolute worst I have EVER been to. They NEVER answer the phone and when you do call, you're on hold for about 18 minutes before they just drop the call. The pharmacist talks poorly about customers right there in front of them, the staff are apathetic on their best day, and every single time I'm in there it's complete chaos. It's sad because I expected so much more. Do not use them. Driving to a CVS further away will save you a lot of stress and time. read more

There's always a long wait at the pharmacy even the drive thru unless Patty is working. Also the restroom is the worst! Always dirty and no cover on the toilet tank. Had to go back 3 days in a row to pick up various prescriptions and saw the same homeless man using the restroom. It needs to be totally renovated. Also the computer register system is slow, outdated and doesn't always print a clear receipt! Please replace them as soon as possible! The only reason I return to this location is because of the location. It maybe time to switch to Walgreens! read more

The old Eckhards was always our go-to drug store. After it's purchase by CVS, we continued to shop there due to it's proximity to our home. It has been several years now and in that time I have never had reason to complain about anyone who works at the 'new' CVS. They carry the products I use and the store is always clean. These things tell me that it's well-managed. I cannot guess as to why, out the 32 ratings prior to mine, the store has only a 2.5-star average rating. It does not seem justified. While there is surely room for improvement somewhere, the store has met all of my expectations up to this point. Therefore, I must give them a full 5-star rating. No, ever one star. The pharmacist Adam S. just told me that I couldn't be expected to be treated like a baby if I don't hear from them on a prescription. I had called the previous day (to avoid this situation), going to the pharmacy and not getting the prescription, but they told me they had ordered and would be there with my other prescription the next day. All I ask them is that they give us a call or text message (the customer) if they are still waiting to receive it, as they said they will. They usually text you nonstop when you have a refill why not when you get a new prescription? So we, the customer, save a trip and time. When I explained this to him, he said he did not have my sympathy. I do not need his sympathy; all I need is service. This situation started when his assistant would not let me finish my sentences and kept cutting me off. I recommend avoiding this location if you value your time and dignity. read more

This Pharmacy is a known as a large volume store but their customer service is really equal to a rural store. Phone calls in evening are with 30 minute wait. Drive thru is now slower since they are doing COVID tests in drive thru and regular customers are expected to wait in Car at least 10 minutes read more

Stopped in on a recent afternoon and was promptly welcomed by the front end cashier. The aisle signs made locating my purchases easy, but I was also asked by a male associate on the sales floor if I needed any help locating merchandise. Customer service appears to be an asset at this location. The pharmacy appeared busy but efficient; I did not need any prescriptions on this visit. Upon check out, the same young lady who greeted me asked me for my Care Card, rang up my items quickly, and thanked me for shopping at the store. All of the people with whom I came in contact appeared to enjoy being there. By the way, I have worked in retail for over 20 years, so I have an idea of what good service looks and sounds like. I won't even take an aspirin, but needed a prescription filled for our pet dog that was called into this specific CVS pharmacy right around the corner from our Vet. The pharmacy was total chaos at best and the pharmacologist that looked at me to see what I might need, you could tell he was disinterested in helping me. Oh my God: I have been a customer at CVS since the 1990s. Today I had an insane encounter with Cedric, a pharmacy assistant/cashier. In the past he has been rude and abrupt, but today was just bizarre. I walked up and I asked for my prescription he told me that it wasn't in the system. I told him I got a text yesterday that said it was ready and they would hold it for an additional eight days. While I was saying that he started to speak. He told me that the store policy was after they texted me that when I didn't come and get it they would put it back. And I said yes I know that but I got the text. I wasn't upset. But then he kept talking .... he repeated what he said before. "The store policy is that after you don't come and get it we put it back on the shelf." I said yes I know please don't say that again you could stop talking now. He said I don't have to stop talking, it's store policy that when you don't come and get it we put it back on the shelf. He kept repeating himself. ! I said, and at this point my voice went up a little bit what is wrong with you? I understand! please stop talking. And he repeated himself two more times after that. I'm not sure what I said but I'm sure my voice went up and the pharmacist came over and sent him to the back. At that point I showed her the text on my phone and told her that I didn't know what was wrong with him why did he keep repeating himself and I called him passive aggressive. At that point he came running forward to the front of the counter and I took a step back, he's a tall young man and Im a 67 year old woman - He exclaimed/yelled I'm not going to let you insult me as I was saying to her - he's a passive aggressive little son of a bitch. At which time he picked up the phone and call the police and told them I needed to be removed and I looked at her and I said are you going to allow this and she just looked at me. I couldn't believe it I said well I've been a customer here for 20 years I can't even believe this (it's probably been 30). And I left. And then from the parking lot I called her and she apologized. She said it was the store policy if there was foul language it was creating a hostile work environment so she couldn't stop his calling the police because I had used a curse word, she would've been seen as violating store policy. Upon reflection, maybe CVS is hiring the differently abled. Im thinking he may be on the autism spectrum - so in spite of the aggravation I feel sorry for him. Had to make a a stop in at another CVS. My sister needed gel to lay down her edges. The store was clean and well organized. This store is in a very friendly neighborhood and cool environment. There is an employee there called Alba that is disrespectful and has inappropriate attitude towards customers. I went there last Monday (4/10) around 10 PM. She was not capable of explaining correctly how to use my coupon, said that my account didn't have any coupons saved to it (luckily I had a paper copy of it). When dealing with my mom, who is visiting from abroad and does not speak English, she was extremely discourteous, laughing (in such an open way that can be clearly seen when checking CCTV images of the store) of her when she handed us the receipt. This kind of attitude is intolerable from someone who's dealing directly with customers. Please get rid of that garbage! Worst customer experience I ever had in my life. read more

I was always a Walgreens person; no special reason but I just always was. When CVS went smoke-free a couple years ago, I switched to CVS immediately on general principle. This is a 24 hour store and pharmacy, which is important to keep in mind. Now remember because of this and the concentration of the population of the neighborhood, it is high volume. Due an extremely high volume, be sure to review your pricing and prescriptions before you are rung up. Mistakes can happen at any pharmacy--not just this one. Yesterday there was a big mix-up when my doctor called in a pain med to the Walgreens close-by and when I arrived at this one, it wasn't there. It had been called into the Wilton Manors Walgreens which closed at 6 PM! I had to call yet another Walgreens to get that prescription out of the system so that my insurance would pay for it at this CVS. To make a long story short, I had to get my doctor involved after hours. The pharmacist was very pleasant and a good sport at this CVS and after about 40 minutes of red tape, I was on my way. No one is perfect, no business is perfect, but I am on the whole quite satisfied. I usually go to the CVS at Federal and Commercial in Fort Lauderdale, because they are closer to me and less busy. read more

He remembered me from shopping the other day, and that I forgot 1 bag of products purchased at the cashier and asked me about it, and returned it to me! I called the store that day after I found out that some of my purchases were not with me when I came home. But when I called they couldn't locate it....I was already giving up not getting it, but Stevens remembered!! He made my day, and what great customer service that is!! Terrible customer service by elderly pharmacist. Pharmacist and many doctors in Florida lack genuine care. The pharmacist tonight looked at my prescription and said I'll have to call the doctor to verify that prescription tomorrow. I asked that that "medical professional" as he calls himself a pharmacist, pay some attention to detail, recognize my prescription is from MD Now, and they are open at 7pm (actually open until 8pm). Never met so many people in the medical injustry that could care less about people. Fl seems to genuinely be the least caring state ever. Or just more and more people are only doing the bare minimum to get by in their complacent positions. I was told I'd have to wait 30 minutes for my medicine. Thankfully I only had to watch the pharmacy techs eat their Doritos for ten minutes before I was cashed out (and no, not one of the 3 techs washed their hands). read more

Worst CVS ever. I have been using CVS pharmacies for years and this store is the worst. The people are nice but the pharmacy loses my scripts constantly. The Dr's office will confirm they received a script for my diabetic daughter but then tell me they never got it. The will not honor my coupons thru the CVS app stating if they can't see it in their system they can't honor them. Although they have admitted having electronic issues with the website I will get confirmation that my script is ready thru text and email and when I go pick it up they tell me they don't have it. They are not even willing to help. I now go to the CVS in the Ft Lauderdale Target because they go over and beyond to help. They even help give me less expensive ways to manage my daughters diabetes They will call me if my insurance plan changes for her and take the time to find me the best discounts for my scripts. DO NOT GO TO CVS IN WILTON MANORS. AWFUL !!! read more

I just had the worst experience of my life at a drugstore. I'm at the CVS in Wilton Manors, and just spent $80. I went back in to buy tampons (which I had forgot). A woman claiming to be the manager refused to move her cart, and called me a bitch. I basically started crying because I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. It turns out she is the manager, Brittany. Today is Sunday and it's 4:30 am. I'm in pain and was verbally abused by CVS 's manager Brittany, store number 5174. No one that worked there cared or tried to help. And, the manager just sat that there and laughed at me while I cried. I don't recommend going there if you believe in people getting treated right. Let me tell you about my experience at this pharmacy. I dropped off my prescriptions after going to the dentist for a massive toothache. Since I was in excruciating pain (was in tears) I dropped them off in my way to the gym figuring that I can pick them up on the way home. When I returned to pick up my meds two hours later went through the drive through and my prescription still hadn't been filled. I parked and went down from the car, inside and with pain-filled tears down my face waited another 15 minutes then reminded them (again) to fill the prescription they were supposed Thomas have ready over an hour ago. All in all it took 30 more minutes to receive my prescription. They were only able to fill half of it since they were out of stock of one type. I received no phone call letting me know that they didn't have those meds in house so I had to fill them somewhere else the next day. Unbelievable. I'm a huge CVS enthusiast- I fill all my prescriptions there and it is without a doubt my pharmacy of choice but God as my witness, I will never spend another cent in this location. read more

Staff seems friendly however i consistently have issues with prescriptions here. I have been using pharmacies for over 30 years in different cities across the USA. Never had a problem until moving to ft laud. Perhaps all these issues are related to the changes brought about by Obamacare? All i know is that half the time my order is incomplete and i often have to return -2-3 times to get prescription complete. Never had so many issues before. The drugs im getting are pretty common as i am healthy and only need to fight common ailments a couple times a year. No exotic or rare drug needs. And i know the pharmacy is busy but ive used cvs pharmacies in manhattan where the population is a lot higher so not sure why they cant keep drugs in stock. Other times they have the drug in stock but my doctors office has to call 2-3 times to get the request to go through. My doctor and staff mentioned at least 3 times on my last visit that Obamacare has caused a lot of changes - they seem frustrated - so maybe that is having a domino effect to pharmacies as well? BTW... in researching for a new pharmacy I came across "Garden Drugs" at 4400 N Andrews. Has very positive reviews. Family owned. read more

Have been shopping at CVS Wilton Manors FL. for 10 yrs. Always had good service at pharmacy. But now with a new young female pharmacist she has terrible customer service & is very rude. All the employees are very nice, never had any problems. This is the 2 time I have had issues with her. I actually had to wait 4 hrs to have prescriptions filled when she is there. I stopped in the other night really late and I was in a rush, and I couldn't find a few items I needed. So I asked an associate to help me find them. His name was Marcus, he seemed very happy two help me, and he took the time to take me two each item that I needed. Instead of just pointing and saying it's down aisle 2. Which was just really nice and refreshing!! So thank you CVS, for having everything I needed and being very convenient to be open 24 hours, because by the time I get off work everything else is closed, and a big thank you to Marcus, for going above and beyond for me!!! read more

I can say one of the young cashier is one of the rudest I have seen in years. No care for the customer. I bought ones lots items for Christmas and had to return one not working about 30 mn later as I leave 1/2 miles away and wasn't able to get my money back but only the half as I had left my receipt by mistake there . She had seen me and served me but refused to do so. Lost half my money for an unworking light also with a rude attitude very condensending to the client. Went back another day for shopping And I was paying and forgot an item in the front to cashier alley I asked to hold and start scanning. I took about 10 second and she had passed my turn and had to wait an extra 15 mn for no reason. Again with an attitude. This is CVS!!! IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE SMILY AND NICE then do something else. The neighborhood is nice and everyone around is. This is unacceptable.
