They also have a small play area, which is nice if you have kids with you and have to wait for your prescription. There have been times when they have not had a specific prescription and were able to order it and have it ready the next day. Lindsay is beyond helpful. She's great at answering questions for prescriptions as well as otc meds. I actually asked her about bandages...after a surgery, I needed to change dressings, but the bandages were seriously irritating my skin. After finding one specific type of bandage that worked for me, I asked Lindsay if they had any. They only had one or two rolls in stock, so she ordered me several and kept special ordering them as long as I needed her to. She's always friendly and helpful. The front staff is usually great too. I took one star off because I recently needed a prescription that they didn't have. They said I would need to call different pharmacies to try to find someone who had it. I honestly didn't even know where to begin...It was already a very stressful situation and I think it would have been nice of them to call to find someone who had it since they were out. Other than that, we are pretty pleased with our small town pharmacy.

However, I didn't understand I was to pick up TWO items, so when I asked about it being topical, they said "no". My practitioner wasn't happy at my follow up appt 3 months later. When I went back again, I got both, but took a couple days to fill. I have gone in looking for specific items (homeopathic) and if it isn't in stock, they have referred me to other stores that may have it. I appreciate that level of service- and so, I do recommend them. They do have a good selection of medical supplies, and they are the closest compounding pharmacy. Worth it to stop in. Customer service you only get from shopping local…read more I have been trying to get a rx filled for over a week, and my usual pharmacy (CVS) let me know they had supply issues and that they wouldn't be able to fill it for 3 days... then 4... then 5, etc. So I called around and other pharmacies said the same. Costco, Walmart, Kroger. My dr suggested I try a local pharmacy but warned me they would likely not accept my insurance. So I tried Geist; i needed my medication and it is pretty close to my house and work. Thank freaking goodness i did. 10000/10. Not only did they have the rx in stock (woo woo), but they also stopped everything they were working on to fill it right then, they took their time getting to know me and my needs, and they went above and beyond to make sure my insurance accepted it. Btw- cvs has my insurance for all my other prescriptions and they still didn't apply it to this rx. Like what?? It was truly one of those moments where I felt like I was in a hallmark movie or something I didn't realize customer service still existed, and I love that I didn't have to talk to an AI operator for 10 minutes to get my rx filled. I will be using them for all of our family's rx needs moving forward.
