I never understand why stores (especially a small local one) puts a not so friendly person dealing with customers/customer service. Looked around while waiting and prices are astronomical - yikes. I recognize this is not a large chain so I understand a markup, but prices were so high I drove down to Walgreens to buy what I needed. I appreciated getting a flu shot but will not be visiting here in the future.

I don't know what is going on with the Walgreens network, but they are quickly destroying its reputation. BUT, I must mention that in this instance, today, the Walgreens at 3601 Rogers in Wake Forest moved heaven and earth to find 3 prescriptions I needed before a trip. LAURA, the pharmacist, called around to find another Walgreens that had one of them in stock and somehow, the other two prescriptions, that were "out of stock" surfaced. She is both caring and competent, which sadly is lacking throughout the Walgreens system. THANK YOU, LAURA, FOR HELPING ME WITH MEDICATIONS THAT I CANNOT BE WITHOUT! I think Walgreens is in complete disarray with organizing medications and has a constant disruption in the supply chain. I also think their computer system doesn't update properly. I truly feel for the employees who have to deal with this situation. I'm sure they are understaffed and take abuse from frustrated customers. Remember what it was like when you were at the beginning of your career. Often the employees are young and they are having to work with a terrible, impossible system. (I need to work on patience and empathy myself!)

Yes! That's what I said! No way. I reluctantly bought the tablets, went home and did exactly what Deborah told me to do. Take it at the same time every day. Don't deviate. Went to the counter to pick up my order and saw soccer bag holders and patriotic dish towels, so I picked them up. I was complimented on my blue eyes and had a very nice conversation with the woman at check out. People here are so nice. This CVS/Pharmacy is "My CVS" (my prefered store). It is open 24 hours. I've been to the CVS in Downtown Wake Forest many times since my last review. This CVS has a…read moregood-sized parking lot and also has a drive-thru. I was greeted upon entering today, and two cashiers were working. I noticed that the store is better stocked than it had been in the past. The Minute Clinic area has been remodeled, with a larger waiting area. I used the self-checkout as I prefer it when redeeming my rewards, as I can pick and choose what to use based on the expiration dates. The self-checkout next to me was being worked on, and the one I used was finicky at times. It would scan some of the items easily, and others would take multiple attempts. I am glad the self-checkouts were getting the needed maintenance.

If he is not filling my rx then they usually are not filed correctly. The pharmacy aides are hit and miss here. Some are really nice and some look so miserable that you can tell that they hate working here. You have to kinda roll the dice when you go here. Sometimes great service and sometimes I will be the one banging my head on the counter in frustration.

Once I called back to discuss my experience, the 22 yr old answering the phones has major attitude. You might not can see someone's eyes rolling, but bet you can hear it in their tone.
