The Walgreens on Rogers Rd is one of the better stores, as it is better stocked than the others. The employees are friendly when you find someone. A long line formed before anyone reached the checkout area, so this store could use a self-checkout. read more

I have had MANY times when my prescription was supposedly ready just to find out that it is out of stock. I don't know what is going on with the Walgreens network, but they are quickly destroying its reputation. BUT, I must mention that in this instance, today, the Walgreens at 3601 Rogers in Wake Forest moved heaven and earth to find 3 prescriptions I needed before a trip. LAURA, the pharmacist, called around to find another Walgreens that had one of them in stock and somehow, the other two prescriptions, that were "out of stock" surfaced. She is both caring and competent, which sadly is lacking throughout the Walgreens system. THANK YOU, LAURA, FOR HELPING ME WITH MEDICATIONS THAT I CANNOT BE WITHOUT! I think Walgreens is in complete disarray with organizing medications and has a constant disruption in the supply chain. I also think their computer system doesn't update properly. I truly feel for the employees who have to deal with this situation. I'm sure they are understaffed and take abuse from frustrated customers. Remember what it was like when you were at the beginning of your career. Often the employees are young and they are having to work with a terrible, impossible system. This store has just about everything you need. From your prescriptions to cosmetics to food. The store is very well stocked. There's always a real person to check you out and they're always helpful if you can't find something. I recommend this store in Wake Forest. read more

Remarkable how almost every element of this pharmacy is ineffective or just plain incompetent. As other reviews have indicated, their phone system puts the caller on hold, then rings and picks up, then goes back to hold. My call the other evening was picked up and put back on hold eleven times until I finally gave up. The app frequently shows when a prescription will be ready, then changes it to a day or so later. The place is understaffed. Wait times are excessive. I have waited at the drive-thru more than once for over a half an hour. And, at least one of the pharmacists is arrogant and rude. HE essentially called me a liar when I told him about the hold/ring/hold mess of the telephone system. Then he cancelled my orders. I have moved my account away from that place. read more

1/7/21: I was hesitant about coming back, but I needed a few things & it's close to my house. Billy was friendly & spoke as soon as I walked in. When I checked out, there was a long line & there was a very difficult customer ahead of me. He could've easily had an attitude when it was my turn, but he shook it off & treated me like I was his only customer. Where was he the first time I came here & got that rude lady?? Lol. The store is following social distancing guidelines & masks are required. The store was organized and clean. Billy needs a raise. read more

Walgreens pharmacy at 3601 Rogers rd in wake forest nc has been my pharmacy for almost 2 decades now. I don't understand why they have been hiring unprofessional , not compassionate, rude, not polite, arrogant people for the last year, at least! Unacceptable! You don't have them attending customers that are sick, much less very sick! You need to have in mind that the customer in front of them can left the doctor's office with a bad diagnosis!!!!! I had 2 unacceptable experiences with 2 people of their staff! One technician and, even the pharmacist on duty! The same pharmacist twice so far!!!! 40 min wait minimum for a prescription. Sometimes an hour. And always call ahead because they are slow to fill them.

Had to wait about 20 minutes to pick up a prescription that my doctor called in to the wrong pharmacy (Walgreens), and every person ahead of me had an issue. When I asked Walgreens to transfer another prescription they had on file, they said I had to have the other pharmacy call them to have it transferred. The other pharmacy called them, and Walgreens accidentally deleted the prescription during the transfer, so now this other pharmacy had to go back to my doctor to get a new RX created. Would NEVER use them again. What a $hit show. read more

Dr my Dr sent my prescription in 5 days ago on Monday & today being Friday no One called me to tell me they were unable to fill my blood pressure pills. i said back & forth calling from 2pm - 6pm about my pain because they were saying they were ready & then when arrived they didn't have them after hrs Of run around & several different techs whom kept putting me on hold & transfers & only to start over with same info I repeated up to hrs ago. Just had surgery today & still no pills & my chart has them @ these locations. One of them told me it my blood pressure pills were sent there days ago but They didn't tell us to fill them. I sent my neice & they told Her while I was on the phone they weren't there which was a bold face lie. I spoke with every man & woman working even had my niece come pick me up & take me back up there & still no meds for me 6 hrs Later. I will be calling corp & lawyer. Rude careless staff read more

Was 20 minutes early for vaccine appointment. Checked in okay. Said they would get me paperwork to fill out. 40 minutes later no paperwork. I went to the consultation window. Said I wanted to check on my vaccinre appointment. An assistant started to answer when, apparently the pharmacist said I needed to use the other window and slammed down something hard and loud on the coubter, He did that a second time, then he administered a vicine to another person with a later appointment than mine. The assistant who then administered my shot 55 minutes later than the appointment time. She was very professional and apologized. I said the person was very rude. Have been a customer of Walgreens for over 20 years but I wont be going back to this store. read more

Horrible customer service and not informed at all. The phone was picked up and put on hold several times. When I was actually able to get ahold of someone they were terse, uninformative, rushing to get off the phone and ended up hanging up on me in the middle of a question. I was polite and patient. This store is extremely disorganized. Product is not placed where it looks clean and appealing to buy. Im typically not super picky but this store is just dirty. Also product availability is not clear, Chip and nuts seem plentiful, but no grape juice. The store is not kept superfaced and stuff is just stuck everywhere. Lastly, the pharmacy is always extremely busy and seems understaffed or maybe not staffed with knowledgeable people. Definitely the store staff is unknowledgeable and lack any enthusiasm as wheat seems to be 12-14 year olds that really don't want to be there. Im not sure whats going in with Walgreens as a company anymore. Im sure Covid took a hit in them like everyone, but its time to get back into the customer service business. I will be taking my business elsewhere for now and see if Walgreens cares enough about retention of customers to investigate and repair this store. read more

After reading somE of the reviews, I still gave the Pharmacy a chance to prove the reviews wrong. I called early in the morning to make an appointment for a booster shot. The tech said no appointments needed, just walk in and here are the best times to come. So I went to the 9pm time as suggested and thinking it wouldn't be busy. I was correct. Nobody was waiting and no one at the drive through window. I was told that I would have a 40min to an hour wait due to the processing and the pharmacist was busy filling other RX. Wow, this is really unacceptable. They need a better system or more Pharmacists on duty. They should have a system that processes the walk ins and can provide better customer service. I will take my pharmacy business somewhere else. read more

The pharmacy is unreliable, when I call to get my prescription filled they would be out of stock and it will be on backorder for a month. They would say it was due to the manufacture however I will call around to other pharmacies besides Walgreens and the other pharmacies would have it in stock. When I would try to discuss a prescription to a pharmacy tech they would interrupt me and then over talk to me. I felt they were treating me very rudely and did not value me as a customer. read more

Worst customer service in the area. For the past 6 months, service is slow and pharmacy workers seem in constant panic mode. I attempted to call ahead to see if a prescription was ready and hung up phone after 55 minutes. Called back and placed on hold again. Been on hold for almost ten minutes fir the pharmacy. Have been redirected to 'hold' status 4 times. When they Finally answered they were very rude. I about lost it. At least answer the phone and say can you hold please? How about a little professionalism! Also how many to listen to a long intro wastes my time. They need a better system. I'm not a huge fan of Walgreens, or most chain pharmacies, however, I do find myself using this one quite a bit as it is easy to get in and out of and I pass it regularly. Walgreens has a much better set-up, astheitcally, than CVS so it is more enjoyable to shop. The staff at this location usually act as if they would rather be anywhere else but there. You can also go in, grab something you need, and spend 2-3 minutes looking for someone to check you out at the front. I also find it strange that every time I visit this store, the person who is working the front always tries to push candy bars and M&M's, sort of the way McD's asks if you want to super size something. Otherwise, again, this is a somewhat easy stop when you need to get a quick OTC med, or something drustore related. read more

There's very a short, fair-skinned (possibly caucasian) girl with jet black hair that works in the pharmacy. I can't tell if she hates herself, other people, or maybe she's racist. She was very rude. When she saw me walking to the counter, I could see her making every painstaking effort to appear amiable in her facial expression. But during our interaction, she could not control her rudeness, smugness, and overall loathsome disposition. I did absolutely nothing to solicit her nasty attitude. Some people are just that way - they hate their lives so much and are eager to take their hatred for themselves out on other people... That's neither here nor there. It was interesting, though, that when I completed my transaction and she said goodnight before I walked away, that she seemed surprised and taken aback when I did not reply the pleasantry, abruptly turned my back, and silently walked away. How could she have expected me to be polite when she herself had been abusive??? *sigh* I don't understand the world. Needless to say, I will never use that pharmacy again. The only redeeming quality of this Walgreen's location was a very bubbly and blonde, friendly clerk that works the front cashier. I was more than happy to give her a smile and "goodnight" as I left. read more

This Walgreens is the newest in the area and quite possibly the WORST. After trying to get someone on the phone in the pharmacy at 4pm on Wednesday, I was hung up on....TWICE. This pharmacy is awful. Do yourselves a favor and GO TO CVS. read more

The Pharmacy staff at Walgreens are the biggest jerks we have ever encountered. If you want someone to roll eyes and be disrespectful go here. I have explained to the staff my medication is 100% covered by my insurance but it has to be input correctly. When they told me I have to pay over $100 for the third month in a row I politely reminded them that it's covered! I called my insurance and they confirmed and called exspressscripts who also confirmed it being 100% covered. I asked the staff to call my insurance and they said "they weren't going to that they are to busy" Well finally on the fourth attempt we got my medication for free because ITS COVERED BY MY INSURANCE LIKE IVE TOLD THEM FOR MONTHS. I dropped off a prescription this morning - 8am - and was told that it would be ready this evening when I came to pick it up. When I arrived, 6:30 pm - today I was told that they had NO Record of me dropping off that prescription. They also told my wife, last week, that one of her prescriptions was halted by her Dr., when my wife questioned her Dr. she found out that was false. My wife did some digging and she found out that her prescription was not printed off their store FAX until 1:00 am the morning after she went to the store to pick up the prescription. This is way beyond SLOW! To me this is scary! read more

We use this Walgreens almost exclusively and spend hundreds of dollars there and usually get exceptional customer service. However, they have a new 2-lane system at their drive-thru and at least one pharmacy tech, Lillane, doesn't understand that she should wait on customers in order of arrival. Very inefficient and she couldn't have cared less. read more

I used this Walgreens for over 2 years and everyone in the Pharmacy was great until maybe 6 months ago when they totally changed all employees including the pharmacist!!! They became very rude, has no idea what they were doing and are very, very slow and have attitudes!!! I was told that phone calls were made to my Dr's for refills etc and then found out they weren't! I was told a script would be done in 20 minutes and then I find out over 2 hours later that they still weren't ready!!! I have recently changed pharmacies due to all this and now I am still having problems with Walgreens transferring all my scripts to my new pharmacy!!!!! read more
