The pharmacy services were great considering we were away from our normal location and needed a Rx filled. All I had to do was make a call and just that quick it was transferred and filled. The pharmacist over the phone was very professional and knowledgeable on how to do what was needed. Not sure about the rest of the store but the pharmacy was on point. read more

Unfortunately, it's hit or miss whenever I visit this CVS location. It really depends on who is behind the register if I'm going to be greeted or not. On a positive note, they definitely got the memo about the holidays! Their aisles were pleasantly filled with Christmas inventory. From decor to candies and toys, the deals were abundant. I spent a while going through the aisles trying to decide how to spend my $10 that I receive monthly as a CVS Care Pass member. I finally decided on two bags of Ghirardelli chocolates priced at 2 for $8 and a small $4 perfume. Now I have chocolates to give to my neighbors! It's not a bad CVS but they could definitely improve when it comes to customer service. This isn't the first time I've experienced lack of a greeting from cashiers but people after me did. The store manager has no customer service skills. I called the store before I drove down. I was given all kind of wrong information from the store clerk over the phone I was told that I could not return this faulty kit without the receipt unless I go to big Bear. The receipt went to an old email address that part I take responsibility for. Tried to access it but was taking to long. Any way contacted the pharmacy beautiful young lady great personality to me that is advised me to bring in the kit and talk to the pharmacist. The pharmacist is a awesome person really helped us out with the kit instructed us what to do and exchanged the non working kit. Mind u theses kits are in a locked cage. Asked the store manager to get the strips for us and she was just so nasty with us my husband told her just give it to the pharmacist and he knows what to do. Honestly I would give this store a negative 10 if I could but everyone in the pharmacy department turned a negative into Positive. Some people even if having. Bad day should take a deep breath and remember actions speak volumes. I have had to humble myself many of times dealing with big customers like canon and LG over the phone. And I M a manager. Avoid this pharmacy. The can't keep appointments and the staff is rude. We had an appointment for booster, checked in on time, and sat unacknowledged for 30 minutes while they served no more than 3 customers and mostly just chatted with each other. When we told them we had to leave to catch our next appointment we got the,"whatever" treatment. Customer service is prompt. My order through drive through has always been on time! I've never had a problem with drive through!

Stores really need to open up bathrooms and quit with this out of order crap. Yet the pharmacy has a bathroom that closes when they do. Thus nothing but a lazy store game. Which they would probably blame on homeless or some other irrelevant issue. People don't always live local to your store. Sure I can and will find another bathroom ( or possibly go piss on your building) but what comes with me is my business. More people should stop shopping at stores with lazy policies and management. read more

I went in to get my son and my medication that was supposed to be ready a couple hours ago and then they told me it wasn't even ready and that they didn't have my son down for anything!! I just wanted to take the time and write this review about Alexis . I come in this cvs a couple times a week . Alexis is always very helpful and super friendly . I remember when she first started here she was nice and kind and helpful . She has maintained that same personality . Outstanding personality . I have discontinued all business with this pharmacy because of their ineptness. However, I had to pick up a prescription for a family member, and so I was once again treated to this pharmacy's incompetence and rudeness. This time around, I got there with plenty of time, but they declined to fill the prescription because they didn't like how the doctor had written it. They referenced some vague "new law" that says that all prescriptions should be written electronically and not on paper. The problem is that this "new law" does indeed say that, but it also says that this is a PRESCRIBER requirement, not a requirement for dispensing pharmacies. There are tons of exceptions to this law, and the burden of compliance is on the doctor, not the pharmacy. In fact, the pharmacy is not expected to verify that an exception exists. They are supposed to fill the prescription and the doctor is supposed to be reported to the medical board for enforcement. This is just another case of this pharmacy trying to deny people their medicine for any excuse whatsoever. And they don't even have a manager on duty to make the pharmacy do it's job. They are so rude. I asked them to call the doctor and they told me that they are too busy. So I went and got the shift supervisor (cause no manager!) and then they reluctantly called the doctor who verified the prescription over the phone. Which the pharmacist told me was "good enough" except that they then waited for him to resend it electronically, which is above and beyond anything that the law would even remotely expect them to do. But they just wanted to make me wait because they were mad at me for asking them to do their job. read more

Hello :-) I am visiting the Victorville area and have been to a number of pharmacies over the past few months. Underwhelmed would be an understatement..... Then I went to this CVS pharmacy and couldn't believe the difference!! Upon entering; I was pleasantly greeted not by one....but by Everyone! Even the staff that were stocking in the aisles greeted me with a genuine smile and kindness. And then just when I thought it couldn't get any more splendiferous....I went to pick up my prescription. I had spoken previously with Dorothy on the phone and there is where the pleasantries began. She went above and beyond her call of duty with such a sweetness and professionalism that by the end of the conversation I actually felt like I had a new friend. Another amazing thing I noticed about the staff was that they literally called customers by their name- not once or twice but all the time!! I listened to Lisa, Linni and Helen time after time- graciously call people up addressing them personally...it was so beautiful to watch. Then there is Seth.... He too knew everyone's name! Seth is the pharmacist.....and in my case a miracle worker as well!! He was so knowledgeable and helped me in such a way that he actually saved me a two hour drive by addressing my concerns right then and there...unbelievable... Also I get constant updates and reminders via text- no other pharmacy has done that for me and I love it!! I truly feel treasured and cared for by this angelic staff....I highly recommend this CVS pharmacy on Palmdale Road to anyone- who not only desire top-notch professionalism- but also want to experience an overall sense of well being...... Management here needs to get axed. Never enough employees. You can't find anyone to help you. One cashier at the front of the store with a line going down the isle, this has been the case every time i go to this store. The pharmacy is worse. While there is two people filling scripts, only one cashier to manage a line with 8 people as well as the drive through. I waited in line for 20 minutes 2 days ago. I was pissed I felt really bad for the cashier. This obviously has not been a concern for management as poor service is the norm. Walmart and Walgreens will be opening in the next couple of months. CVS is sure to loose their customer base. Then maybe I won't have to wait 20 minutes in line. read more

I usually go in during the day and see a lot of staff present to assist customers. Beware! The later shift is a nightmare. Customers waiting to be checked out for a very long time. One checker present with no manager in site, or around. No sense of urgency. I encourage you to go elsewhere especially if your in a hurry. Wait for me was 15-20m with only 4 customers ahead of me. Sooooo I called ahead of time to make sure they had my prescriptions in stock. The lady said yes so I bought some dinner and headed over there. I get there and the lady I just talked to says the pharmacist just left for dinner so it'll be 30-45 minutes. I'm like ok why wouldn't you tell me when I called you just a few minutes ago and she says well I didn't know. I said well I can't wait that long because I have dinner in the car. She says why don't you just go home and come back later. I tell her I live quite a ways away and it's not that easy. I'm sure if it was oxycontin or some other narcotic they would have a surplus for all these crackheads. Needless to say I had to go elsewhere. Warning to your health. Do not use this pharmacy. When my daughter's prescription was finally filled after waiting for over a week, it was wrong. She was suppose to get 1/2 of .25mg tab only at night. The bottle said to give her 1/2 in morning and at night. If I hadn't had been filing the original paper prescription from the dr. I would never have seen it. Never Never Never use their drive up window. My very last visit to this pharmacy was at their drive up window. I called at 10:00 am and was told my prescription would be ready at 2:30. At 3:30 I pulled into the drive thru at the same time as the vehicle in front of me. Nice store. Usually well stocked and clean. Sometimes the check out is very slow. The pharmacy wait can be even longer . They have a good variety of seasonal items throughout the year. A good selection of food and beverage items. I do get my prescriptions elsewhere because of the wait time to fill. read more

Been there before to pick up a few items on the way home. The store was clean and not crowded at all, got my things and left. Well I needed to pick up a few otc medicines for my kid, again on the way home. Got there and not crowded again. Really needed to use the restroom and when I asked I was sternly told NO. Well I could not look around cause I really needed to go. Makes for a tough time trying to find the right stuff. Well went home used the restroom and went out to another store. Won't be going there again. With the stern no and no restroom use, made it an uncomfortable time. What are you to do if you are waiting for a prescription to be filled or (?). I went there to pick up prescriptions for my children and was helped by Dorothy and Lisa who were pharmaceutical techs they were so polite and respectful as well as they were super funny and very helpful and got my prescription to me in no time. the pharmacist Seth was so nice he answered many questions o had for him and really gave me his full undivided attention without making me feel rushed or as if I was being a burden. Last Sunday, 11/12, I went to my nearby CVS to drop off a prescription. Store # 4148, manager Seth Owuor. There was a floater Pharmacist, a young lady (I cannot remember her name). She looked at my prescription and told me to come back in one week because my prescription wasn't due yet through my insurance. No problem, I totally understand. So today, 11/19, I return to fill the prescription. One of the medications they did not have in stock. I said fine, no problem, just fill it when you can and in the meantime fill what you have. She said that they would have to order it and that may take time. I said that is okay, although I was going on a trip I could have my mom come down and get it if it wasn't done before I left town, as she lives right around the corner. So she agrees, I head out the door and no sooner than I get home she calls me and says to come back and get the prescription, they will not hold onto it while waiting for the medicine they have to order (store policy she said, and every store is different). However, she says another CVS may have everything in stock. So I ask if their system can check what other stores may have. She says no. Then I ask if they can call to the other pharmacies in the area. She says, they will not. So I said basically you will not help me at all, you didn't order the drug a week ago when you asked me to come back in a week, you won't hold the prescription and order the drug or fill the other orders while you wait, you won't check other stores stock, and your solution is for me to drive around randomly seeing if another CVS might be able to help. She says that's all they can do. CUSTOMER SERVICE = 0 I made 3 trips to CVS, and basically they told me to go to another CVS because they don't want to inconvenienced and hold the prescription while they order the one drug they don't have. I immediately drove over to Walgreens and they held my prescription and said no problem, we will take care of it and if there are any problems we will call the doctor and resolve them. they had absolutely no problem holding the script until they got everything completed. Hmm... I was never rude other than being obviously upset with CVS lack of customer service. As I was leaving I said, "Thank You, not", To which a black lady named Dorothy behind the counter sarcastically yelled loud enough the whole store could hear, "You're Welcome". Not only was that totally unprofessional, I believe it was racially motivated because as I sat there 20 minutes waiting for the pharmacist to return from lunch, the only customers she met with a smile on her face was the black customers. I am not black. I will never set foot in another CVS pharmacy again. The company obviously has no set policies, nor does it have any training for its employees in regards to customer service. CVS, if you aren't going to fill it, don't bother to have me wait a week and come back after checking things. If you are out of stock fine, but help the customer find another store that CAN help, or be willing to order what is needed for your customer. read more

The employees at this pharmacy are wonderful. However they are seriously understaffed. this comes not just from personal observations but out of the mouths of several employees. i have to pick up lots of prescriptions, and always have to wait even when i call way ahead of time. it is almost nevber ready, portions of order will not be done and a regular presription is out of stock approx.6 out of 7 mos . Did i mention excessive wait times?2 time being out of last two months their whole computer systems were down.and that is just what I KNOW ABOUT.. here they are seriously crippled by understaffing, and i was told they are cutting pharmacy employees hours. the employees dothe best they can. im surprised major mistakes have not been made just by being over worked. i hear them tell someone at drive through they had to hait till 3pm the next day( it iwas about 7pm the day before)on my last one i called 2-3 days ahead of when i needed, somehow they didnt fax the doctor, then they put it thru again, gave me loaners, i waited another 3 days and it still wasnt done due to being behind for last 5 days i apologize for typos/punctuation-on phoine having issues :) read more

I recently went too this CVS to turn in a prescription. The staff is usually rude They will ignore you while you wait in the long lines.. And the pharmacist is the worst. I can't understand his English, as he is of some sort of African decent. I asked him if he had the medication on my prescription, and if he had the brand name version? He told me no he didn't have it, and that my insurance does not pay for brand name. I took my prescription to A Family Pharmacy in Apple Valley. They were so nice, and had what I needed. Not only that , they were able to get me brand name. It turn out my insurance cover's brand name as well as generic. The African man did this to me before. he will lie to your face. Don't go to this store, because you will experience some sort of a problem, and then you'll get treated bad to. The pharmacist has no business assisting customers.
