My mom decided to use their "delivery" service due to the coronavirus for much needed medication. She lives 15 minutes west of Tecumseh. The package was sent April 1st, the same day the delivery was requested. The package first went an USPS facility in Detroit on April 2nd -- nowhere near Tipton, MI. The package next went to Pontiac on April 5th -- also nowhere near Tipton.
My mom called CVS in Tecumseh to see if they could help her get the medication she needs. The not so sympathetic pharmacist said they did their job mailing it out and that they couldn't do anything else. My mom said that this was poor customer service and that she would be taking her business elsewhere. The pharmacist agreed that she should.
After more investigation, if you live west of Tecumseh, all of their deliveries go to Detroit first. Apparently CVS didn't know this. If you live in Tecumseh or in a neighboring city east, the package can be delivered directly to you.
And the package? It went back to the Detroit facility from Pontiac. It's now April 7th. Mind boggling.
