Wow what a disappoint. Had our vet call in a prescription at 8:00 tonight and he talked to the pharmacist. Pharmacist stated it would be ready before the closed at 9:00. Went to pick it up and they stated it could not be filled until tomorrow. Stated that the Dr has talked to the pharmacist and they stated that it could not have happened. Called the Dr to see what to do and asked assistant if the wanted to talk to the Dr to confirm and they refused. What poor service. Stated that we would not be coming back and she stated "good, one less prescription to fill". Not hard to understand why they have been closing stores with people like this. read more

This location is filthy, most of the employees are at all new level of rude, and the pharmacy staff (with the exception of 2 people) are incompetent, rude and lazy. Pharmacy is a mess. Most of the people are rude and not helpful. I sat in the drive through for more than 15 min with only one car ahead of me, only for there to be no one at the window. When someone finally came and I asked a question, they told me I was holding up the line and needed to park and come in. I then waited in line again in person, only for them to tell me I just had to call my insurance. My insurance called the pharmacy trying to tell them to give me my medication and yet somehow I ended up with only a third of my prescription AND had to pay out of pocket. read more

Scheduled a flu shot at the minute clinic for 2:50. It is currently 3:20 and have not been seen. 30 min wait time for a simple shot is insanity. I would recommend going to a target or Publix where you are seen immediately. read more

This was never a great location, with a difficult parking layout and always broken second drive through lane. Then, earlier in 2024 CVS closed the more accessible and better staffed store at Countryway at RaceTrack. This additional traffic has led to chaos, constantly, at the Sheldon store. WALK - DON'T RUN! Negative scores aren't an option or this would surely get a -99! On hold 2 different calls within space of an hour and a half. One was :48 and the other :17. No "hold please." Just really bad music. In between I called main line to find out if their line had issues. Nope. Then I called main line to get pharm Mgr and store Mgr names as I was planning to escalate the situation next day. I got first names and asked for lady. Im here multiple times a month and this pharmacy hustles like no other. They are always busy, look at all the people they are serving. I came the Tuesday during the week of hurricane Ian to fill a bunch of life- sustaining monthly meds- this location had a car line around the building and a line at the pharmacy 15 people deep. They were staffed with extra workers and multiple lines open to ask questions and to grab scripts- the hustle was real: efficient and polite. Loving having this location close by. read more

All I needed to know was if the minute clinic accepted Care Credit. Just a simple yes or no answer...not one person knew!!! I would consider myself a Walgreens person more than a CVS person. Why? I'm not really sure. CVS just always feels cluttered and disorganized to me compared to Walgreens and I just get a better vibe from it. Prescription medication or a last-minute gift card will bring me into this location. The pharmacy stays busy and isn't always easy to navigate through. The checkout process always takes longer than it should and that's usually because they have one cashier while three other employees are restocking something in the corner. They offer deals throughout the store, but that is only when you present your CVS card. I have enough membership and rewards cards and CVS's card just isn't worth the weight in my pocket. The deals are usually buy 2 for a certain price. Deals are average at best and always for stuff that you never need. The parking lot here is a little tight and gets congested at times and it's not the easiest place to get out of. read more

I don't ever write reviews but after the experience I had today I felt the need. It was the absolute worst experience I have had at a pharmacy. I just moved back to my dad's house in Tampa from abroad when the pandemic started. My dad usually refills for me at walgreens and sends it to me because I live overseas but they have been out of my medication, as has every pharmacy near me, for a few weeks. So I went to a CVS that was further out from my house to see if I would have better luck. Today, the pharmacist (blond and I didn't get her name, but incredibly rude and ridiculously condescending) asked me why my health care provider's office is far away from my house (none of her business), which is far away from that CVS pharmacy. She asked me why I am not trying another pharmacy closer to my house. She was saying all of this with such an accusatory tone. It was so upsetting I didn't even know how to respond, to be honest. She told me that she wont refill a prescription for a random person that comes in saying "the pharmacists told me it's out." She actually used air quotes repeating what I said. I've never been treated so rudely and I am in shock. This prescription is already way overdo to be refilled. I would never treat a patient the way she treated me. It was so offensive and disappointing. Never going to CVS again, that's for sure. There is really no need to be so rude. Having a little empathy goes a long way. It's been several years since I lived in Westchase when this CVS was right down the street from me, but as Cassie said in her review their customer service is so excellent that I refuse to move my prescriptions. Yeah, it's a bit of a drive to get to Linebaugh and Sheldon Road, but I know that my prescriptions will be waiting for me and that the technicians have searched for the best-possible price point with my insurance company. They have me set up on auto-refill and send me a text message to let me know when everything is ready for pickup. This CVS is open 24 hours a day and they have a drive-through window for those times that you're feeling too crappy to get out of your car. They've even offered to grab me an over-the-counter cough syrup to go along with my prescription antibiotic and have all of it waiting for me at the drive-through window. A few times a year the technician will print off my prescriptions history and check with me to make sure I am still taking what is on that list. They automatically call the doctor's office for refills, and do a quick review for any drug interactions with over-the-counter medications and nutritionals. I like that my prescriptions are available at any CVS so if I am traveling and need a refill they can pull up my information and give me a temporary supply. Like many of the CVS pharmacies in the area, you can pop in for a flu shot without an appointment which is great if you have a busy schedule. I really hate this location. I drive by here a lot, and each time I do, I get fucking pissed off all over again. It's like a wound that just won't heal. Last December, I attempted to drop off some important and nostalgic negatives, as well as some old 8mm slides for digital conversion. The kid that was working said they couldn't help me because the store was being remodeled. He suggested coming back in a few weeks. So I did, on December 28 and 8:00:34 P.M. A date and time that would prove fateful for my important items. I was told that it would take 4-5 weeks. Here we are, almost one year later, and still nothing. They have no record of my order, despite me having the receipt. Memories lost. Gone. Never to been relived outside of my angry mind. All I got was an "I am sorry" from the woman who answered the phone when I called to inquire about my order. Figured it was finally time to write this review. read more

This is not the nearest CVS to where I currently live, or work, but I refuse to move my prescriptions because their pharmacy has excellent customer service. They always call me to ask if I need any of my prescriptions refilled- and also when the prescriptions are ready. They've set me up on the automatic refill for my recurring prescriptions- and give me reminder phone calls when I forget to come pick them up! They helped me get the best deals when my insurance changed this year- and always call my doctors directly when I run out of refills to take care of it. When one of my meds switched generic manufacturers- you guessed it- they called me to let me know! I don't really expect much out of my pharmacy- so getting this kind of service is unexpected and super appreciated! I will definitely continue to go out of my way to come here! So even though one of my family members works at CVS I couldn't help but give a ONE STAR RATING TO THE MINUTE CLINIC. I made an appointment for 5:11pm was standing by the door and my name on the screen had 0 wait time, the nurse literally opens the door and saw two people sitting down and while SHE IS SITTING she told them to come in, without even making sure that there's more people that MADE APPOINTMENTS before hand! I have never received worst customer service from a pharmacy than I have from this one. Ask them to look up something in the computer and you get eyerolls and attitude. Typical questions are answered with sighs and disinterest. They will not lift a finger to help you. You would be hard pressed to find a group of "healthcare professionals" who act less interested in helping the people that they serve than this particular group. Like I said about our other CVS it is a drug store so what more can I say other than they have a little bit of everything, especially drugs! If you sign up for the CVS card you can use cardstar on your smart phone and get rid of the key fob and unlike Best Buy it actually work here. You get coupons and even extra dollars when you spend certain amounts. They are open 24 hours so that is very convenient. read more

Recently took an RX to this store - it was accepted by the pharmacist on duty (June I think was the name). Told me it would be about 2 hours. I said I'd come back in that time-frame as I had other errands to run. (Keep in mind I've had stuff filled here before so they have ALL of my contact info). Fast forward 2.5 hrs...went back and what do you know... "WE HAD TO ORDER THIS" I'm like - WHAT - I just wasted my time coming all the way back here for nothing? Why didn't you call me? She just shrugged and turned away...I asked her again and she really copped an attitude with me. I then said I'd just take the RX and go to Walgreens - and take ALL of my current and future business with me! She first stated I could not take the RX back since the stuff had been ordered - then when I insisted she finally gave it back all marked up. I took it to Walgreens and had no problem filling it there with only a 15 minute wait!!! My recommendation: Stay away from this CVS...ESPECIALLY from this pharmacist!! Life is too short to have to deal with such unprofessionalism! I am telling everyone I know about my experience here too. I have just sent an email to the CVS corporate office at customercare@cvs.com. We will see if they really care and bother to respond. Probably not...which will seal the deal of my never setting foot in a CVS again. read more
