On vacation and needed meds. They had it transferred and ready in less than 24 hours. Star was friendly and location was clean and organized. read more

Terrible experience with the pharmacist, Dr sent in a prescription I went into CVS they said they never got it but when I called the phone number they said they did. So I called doctor again they sent the order again. Went back to CVS they said again that they received it but it wasn't ready I ask if they had the pills in stock they said yes. Went in the 3rd time the pharmacist said the order was wrong and he couldn't fill it. But he didn't call doctor to get clarification. Called dr again they sent a new order. I asked again if they had the pills they said yes. Went back the 4th time they said they didn't have the pills. Went back the 5th time and they could only fill a partial order and charged me $182. And everywhere else was $26. They lied. They don't care about their customers. I will never use CVS again. read more

Never again. I went in to pickup a prescription. There was someone at the drive through so I had to wait around 7-10 minutes for them to be done...no big deal. When it was my turn I told the woman that I also wanted to transfer a prescription from the Walmart across the street to them. She said ok, but she'd take me at the other window afterward. I said ok. She got my prescription for me and I again mentioned the transfer. She then told me that I'd have to wait again because someone had come to the window and someone else up behind me. She told me to go wait at the other window until she was done. SERIOUSLY...I'd just waited for my turn, but then she doesn't want to help me. I started walking to the other window and then decided that wasn't going to happen. I continued out the door...drove to Publix and had ALL of my prescriptions transferred to them instead. So in really they lost thousands of dollars a month because of how many and how expensive they are. Probably close to 50k a year that insurance pays for. Talk about dumb on their part. read more

CVS is a joke!!! I waited 6 hours before I went to pickup a prescription my Dr. Called in. They said you have no prescriptions in our system! I went home 15 minutes later CVS call's with a recording your prescription will be ready shortly. Two hours later I go in to pick it up only to hear We don't have your prescription in stock but might be able to get it by Monday afternoon....... I asked her why they didn't "CVS" call me and tell me this, The dumb look, Let me see, they had your number as a land line not a Cell number! Again why didn't You call me, no response!!!!!!!!! read more

This pharmacy is the worst. I have been using the Summerfield (Spruce Creek) CVS pharmacy for the past two years. There is one staff member, Mary, who is extremely rude and unprofessional. Earlier this week, I went to the drive thru window. She came to the window and saw that it was me and simply walked away and never returned. I then had to go into the store and ask to speak to the manager of the pharmacy. I was told for the third time that he would "be out until Tuesday". I asked for a callback when he returned. Neither time did he reach out to me about this problem. One time, she pushed the drawer out at the drive thru so hard that she almost hit my car. Completely unprofessional and rude. When I finally spoke to the manager, he was not very helpful and seemed to condone this kind of unprofessional behavior. He even had the audacity to suggest that I might want to use another pharmacy. Unbelievable, he allows a staff member to act this way with customers and then suggests that the customer go to a different pharmacy. I can see from other reviews that others have had similar negative experiences. I'm not surprised. For what it is worth, I did call the main customer service number and spoke with a very professional and helpful young lady. She said she would pass this information along to the district manager and it would be dealt with. It restored my confidence of CVS...at least at that level. read more

The absolute worst experience ever with a pharmacy. Rude, unprofessional, no show of kindness or compassion for people, and zero effort to simply offer help. I've been an RN for 21 years and my sister too. We know what it's like to be busy, stressed, and need help. Still people are people, and if they're needing medicine - it's not their best day. Our mother was just discharged from the hospital after 30 days! We arrive to this CVS and no prescriptions. The hospital re-faxes them, and we arrive at 5:35pm (they close at 6). They told us that they could fill 1 or 2 but we'd have to come back Monday for the rest because they're about to close. So which ones did we want. Well let's see, if you couldn't breathe, which 2 would you pick???!!! Horrible management obviously as I see other reviews of the same nature spread out over many months. read more

The worst pharmacy in the area. Waited 4 days for my prescription to be filled. They claim they are busy. Well who isn't??

This pharmacy did not follow the law and caused problems for a senior - causing me to make 3 trips instead of 2 - at a period when we were under a state of emergency declared by the governor due to a hurricane. I agree with the reviewer who said "the worst pharmacy in the area" and in fact, this is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever used. This pharmacy refused to take my paper prescription because I did not have my driver's license with me, although I had a different photo ID issued by local government. I promised to come back with my driver's license. The law only says "dispense with photo ID". The pharmacy is not to refuse take the prescription and allow the person to bring their photo ID when dispensed. The person who said she was the pharmacist was also one of the rudest persons I have ever encountered in any pharmacy or any store for that matter, just incredibly rude. I know this pharmacy has one star here and similar ratings on other rating sites. It deserves it. I have also been here other times and service is among the slowest imaginable with customers not always helped in a timely manner, and employees instead doing other things while customers stand helplessly for extended periods of time without even being greeted. (PS: The pharmacist at first claimed I said I only wanted to ask a question - but although I did ask a question I then asked her to please fill and she refused. I think she has since backed down on that claim. I did try to talk to the pharmacist but she would not listen and she intends to do the same thing to others, including seniors in our retirement area, during this hurricane emergency and thereafter.) read more
