Between staffing and inventory, I'm betting that the pharmacy from my insurance company would be better. Today there were only one pharmacist and one pharmacy tech. Today we were unable to get a prescription filled because according to her quote, she was simply not sufficiently staffed to be able to get the prescription finished today and therefore we would need to pick it up tomorrow. This is for pain medication that was sent in on Friday and should've been already filled for pick up. There are a few really great pharmacist who will do whatever's needed to take care of the customer and then there are some who are overwhelmed by the job. Today we dealt with the latter I write this review to let off some steam because I honestly know that there will be nothing done to change things at the CVS location.. read more

I came in here to do a return, and the employees were very unfriendly and unhelpful. I stood there for 15 minutes before I was greeted, and then they continually ignored me and refused to help me. I repeatedly had to ask for help, and I was just stared at. I can see why this pharmacy has very low ratings. It is a very convenient location, but until the staff improves their customer service I do not see this location lasting. read more

Totally rough and unfriendly. They won't price match on another store or even the website. Just order online and pickup someplace else because this location is fairly unpleasant to shop. A person behind the counter register was just continuously putting something in a bag then taking the same thing out. Okay. Maybe you don't want to help me, maybe you just have some illness... Still unacceptable when there is a line and a bunch of questions from customers. I asked about a lot of things such as pickup orders and the answer was "we don't do that" or "sorry not here." I am fairly loyal to the CVS brand but the inconsistency of courtesy across the various stores kind of diffuses my favor of them. How do you rate a business that you will keep going to because it is conveniently located. Very Carefully!! Because of insurance, my medicine was forced to be transferred from Walgreens to CVS. This CVS is very clean and the salespeople are always friendly and helpful. However . . . . Their pharmacy leaves something to be desired. I have waited forever for someone to wait on my at the pharmacy. Even though there are usually one pharmacist and two sales personnel behind the counter, I have waited. I have a feeling that if CVS gets notifications about Yelp reviews, that I will be waiting even longer. It also doesn't matter if you go through the drive-thru. It's hard to do because of the way it's angled. Would I come back here? Well, I have to because of insurance. I have no choice. read more

It seems like they recruit every mental patient, reject, misfit, incompetent, non-professional, personnel, pharmacist to employ at this particular store. Only a few times that you get good or above grade customer service. Those staff members are long gone. I've yet to have an issue with this CVS. Maybe it's just luck? Maybe it's visiting off-hours (but not too off-hours)? Maybe all of my needs just-so-happen to be what they have in stock? Versus the Walgreens on Lindell, this CVS is the better option on most fronts. Versus Schnucks on Lindell, it's a toss-up. The greeting cards section is smaller, they aren't partnered with Fedex and the selection of general merchandise isn't as good. There's also no Redbox, if you're into those. If you just need to pick up a gift card, get your annual flu shot or buy some overpriced (before coupons and deals...) over-the-counter meds though, there's no reason not to stop in. read more

The pharmacist and tech, Shawna, were amazing. They put helpful info, like if there's a coupon for your Rx, on the actual fact sheet. When I showed up, she asked me if I knew how much my Rx was.... It was 130, whoa! She walked me through how to get the coupon, and it ended up being free after the coupon, definitely a big deal. I appreciated the heads up so I wasn't surprised or embarrassed, and I definitely appreciate someone walking me through how to get the coupon for next time. The pharmacists and techs here have always been really nice. read more

As a healthcare provider I feel for anyone who needs to get their medications filled at this pharmacy. I've been to many different CVS pharmacies across the country and they've been great for the most part. The staff at this particular location is not helpful and significantly lacks the knowledge and capability to help people and efficiently fill prescriptions. It's taken me five daily trips to fill a prescription and the pharmacy technicians and pharmacists are incapable of handling anything requiring more work than administering flu shots. I highly recommend going elsewhere to fill your scripts, it's been frustrating here. Save yourself the time and hassle. read more

This place is 24 hours and was the only place open at 1 a.m. on New Year's Eve when we had to get some last minute Christmas gifts for the next morning. The cashier guy was super nice and understanding and the security lady helped me with my bags to the car when it was freezing cold. If I could give it a zero I would. Just this location! It is disgusting especially during a pandemic you would think they would take care of the store for the safety of their customer. I went in to print pictures earlier today and the store staff is eating lunch right near the photo area (don't you have a lunch area for your staff?) As he saw me walk towards the picture area, he got up and stood right there (might as well not wear your mask and sit down and eat!) and just looking at how they keep that area clean, me and my husband left immediately and went to Walmart and printed out pictures. The best (and perhaps worst) thing about this CVS is that it's not just a CVS. No, this is THE LINDELL CVS. Lindell Walgreens, take note. You're not the only kid on the block anymore. As for the store, It's brand new and clean. It wasn't particularly well stocked when I visited, however they just opened less than two weeks ago, so I'm not holding that against them. There were employees actively stocking when I was shopping. The store looks smaller than the Walgreens up the street. Even when it's fully stocked, it's not going to have a comparable amount of merchandise. But on the other hand, should we hold their lack of Snuggies and Pedi Eggs against them? They still have a 24 hour pharmacy, toiletries, and a small (really small) amount of groceries and tsotchkes. If this CVS relieves the overcrowding and all around craziness of the Lindell Walgreens, I'm all for it. There's more than enough business to go around. Welcome to the neighborhood. read more

Convenient location for all my pharmacy needs. Pharmacy is open 24 hours and they are typically quick and efficient with what I need. The pharmacist is usually very helpful and always asks if I have any questions about medication. The store is usually clean and things are in their place. Store staff is friendly and approachable. Only annoying thing is that some of the stuff is locked up and you have to wait for an employee to unlock so that you can get it. Depending on how busy the store is, this can take a while. But it is understandable due to the locations. I am sure they have had things stolen in the past. Also this store has a parking lot which is nice to have in the city and there is always parking available. It is also well lit at night so you don't have to worry too much if you have to go late. In addition, they have a drive through to pick up medication which is always convenient. Typically, I can be in and out of the store in 5-10 mins. Will def continue to use. read more

AVOID THIS PHARMACY for the sanctity of your own self worth. Yes, I realize that sounds a bit dramatic but after being degraded so many times by these people...I'm done being silent about this. I've been subjected to discrimination from pharmacy employees here on multiple occasions. One pharmacist in particular, Terry, "doesn't feel comfortable" filling prescriptions for customers who don't have insurance. Most others simply appear to be blinded with stigma. I go to this pharmacy because they are the most financially feasible option in the area. However, I have been been de-humanized by their pharmacy staff for the last time and will be seeking out a more ethical human centered pharmacy after today. read more

The pharmacists at this location are really nice! I've filled a few here and had questions and they were very friendly and helpful. I like that it's a nice clean new store - reminds me of the ones I used to shop in back in DC. Fancy Shmancy. One star deducted because of the awkward parking lot that is sharing with the AAA/DMV and the difficulty in turning left out of the parking lot (which is the way I always have to go). I go here only because it is the closest pharmacy (besides the Wallgreens which is worst) close to me It is simply not worth it anymore. The lady who works most nights at the pharmacy either does not know what she is doing, can't work the computer, or is just very slow at what she does. The pharmacy workers also tend to have a bad attitude and are not very helpful to customers. read more

To whom it may concern at Customer Service for CVS Pharmacy, Good evening. I am writing to file a formal complaint against "Mike" at the checkout counter of CVS Pharmacy, 3925 Lindell Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63116. Two nights ago he refused me service, claiming that I have "disrespected" him "many times in the past". I insisted that he process my purchases immediately, as I was already afraid of walking home alone so late at night. He continued to refuse to do so, and repeated insults and threats against me (e.g., "I have a right to refuse service", "Get away from me", "That's your own personal problem", "I am the manager, and the only one above me is God"). Meanwhile, he greeted and served other customers in line to check out. Eventually, another clerk named "Tammy" joined him at the counter to process my purchases. As I exited the store, I found "Mike" waiting for me outside the doors, smoking a cigarette. He hurled verbal threats at me such as, "Where I come from, you gonna have a m*therf*ckin' problem". Please file my complaint formally, then advise me on how to proceed. And in case I mysteriously disappear, "Mike" should be a suspect. Thank you. read more

Entry at your own risk. Twice in one week, I've seen theft. Young men grabbing what they can and running out the door laughing that they got away with it. The customer service people did nothing. They told me it happens all the time because there is no security guard. They also told me that corporate turns a blind eye to the risk because they make money from the pharmacy and can afford theft from the other areas. I have yet to see a guard. What is to stop them from taking my purse? Further, I live in the area and I am completely frustrated that CVS will not help us curb crime. It seems a disregard for the community. I was frustrated to hear tonight, from a woman in line who said she's called corporate several times to complain with no results. She was very upset. That was the last straw for me. I favor CVS to Walgreens because the decor and arrangement of the space. But I will take my business to Walgreens until I see a commitment to security. Our Walgreens a block down does have security. I will also report this to my alderman and to the mayor. Or, I can't wait for Amazon pharmacy! read more

I would recommend to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. My car was broken into right on the lot while security was just sitting at the photo section near the cashier. They rolled the cameras and saw the theft but never released anything to me or authorities and never even reached out to me to rectify the situation. This place is horrible. The service is horrible and they don't care about your safety at all. The parking lots are dark and although they pay "security" no one patrols the area. They sit inside the store talking.
