If you've got all day and want to make numerous trips to the pharmacy this is the place for you. Had my doctor fax over a prescription at 1:30 pm. Stopped by CVS at about 2pm and they said the pharmacist was out to lunch so come back in about 45 minutes. Go back at 3:30pm it's still not ready. (Gave them double the time to make sure they got it done). They say come back in 45 to an hour. Finally at 5:10pm we call and it's ready. No apology, no reason for the awful customer service. We'll be finding a new pharmacy. This is one of many times where prescriptions are not ready when promised. They need some new management in this place. Have used CVS in other cities and never had this problem. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. The phone is always ringing and the calls come before the long line of customers. I dropped off my prescription this morning at 9:00. They said there wasn't enough information so I drove back to the Doctor & they added additional specifics. They said it would take 6 hours to fill. Went back at 4:30 and they didn't get to it yet. Terrible & miserable customer care and service. 9 out of 10 refills and new prescription are never filled on their own estimated time to pick up prescriptions, and usually when I return a few hours later they make me wait anywhere from 15 minutes more to 3 days! My meds are mostly for high blood pressure or severe spinal pain. They aren't helping me! They are making matters worse in fact. They don't care. Employees behave like they hate being there and the pharmacist who looks like Dick Cheney has been overheard disparaging customers waiting. They usually have only one pharmacist on duty, and when he takes a lunch it's another hour to wait! This place doesn't deserve to be in this business. I'll change to another. read more

Passing through town and stopped here. The layout of the store is great, much more spacious than the CVS stores in Sacramento, which are generally smaller. The store had wide isles and shorter shelves that made the store feel more open. Register service was good as well. BUT.. BUT... huge BUT... the public restrooms was disgusting!! Like, old-rundown-gas-station-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-operated-by-a-potential-serial-killer disgusting. The door had a totally hinky lock set-up, the toilet dirty and looked like maybe someone had thrown up on the underside of the seat, the floor looked like it had been mopped with dirty water, and it smelled like a long-forgotten porto-potty. Absolutely shocking how bad it was. I can not believe CVS corporate let's this kind of obvious quality problem remain. read more

The store itself is fine - but do not use their web interface to order a prescription to be picked up another site! I ordered two prescription refills for my wife to be picked up in San Jose two days later. We went to the San Jose store and they knew nothing about it. San Jose called Sonora and was told the prescriptions were waiting for us there!! But they agreed to fill the one most urgently needed, only one day's worth of medicine left. At the same time, the web interface showed no prescriptions ready to be picked up. Two days later, same story. I just called CVS Sonora and they won't talk to me, the husband, only the wife! So, I can order her prescriptions and I can pick them up. But I cannot get an answer to a simple question: is there something there to be picked up? read more

I needed a prescription today for a sinus infection I've had well over a week. I went there after my doctor appointment and the woman working behind the counter was so rude to me for no reason right from the beginning. She didn't smile at me or show me any customer service. I work at a restaurant. I know all about customer service. For some reason she was glaring at me and just said we don't have anything for you. I had to argue with her and show her my paperwork saying my doctor faxed it in. She continued to roll her eyes at me and basically was like I don't know what to tell you. She also refused to call the doctor to verify. So I called and the nurse said the prescription was sent. I had to get in line again because of all the people not being helped and the woman behind the counter acted like she never saw me before. "Can I help you , name, date of birth?" She could have said did you get a hold of your doctor Jennifer. She then argued with me again about not having anything. Finally when they did call after I asked why this had to be so difficult the other pharmacist was grumbling under his breath about how inconvenient it was to deal with the clinic I went to. Then no one would talk to me. I was standing there waiting and again she asked can I help you like she didn't know me. I hate this pharmacy. They are so unwelcoming and so rude for no reason. I just needed to feel better and get medicine. Why be so difficult to people who are already having a crappy day. read more

I've been using this pharmacy for over 2 years and have almost never had a smooth experience. I get the same prescription every 3 months, and 50% of the time they don't have the medication in stock. Aren't there basic computer programs that can account for meds needed, if they should be ordered, and when? Also, most of the staff are so unpleasant. They seem so dissatisfied with their lives. The red haired older lady is the rudest though. When I walk up to the counter, she just continues typing on her computer and walking back & forth, without acknowledging the fact that I'm waiting. A simple "I'll be right with you" would be wonderful. I know that pharmacy's are like the dmv - a service that people will always need, so customer service is not a concern; but as they are humans affecting other humans, shouldn't common decency be a concern? read more

I'm a doctor, and needed to pick up a prescription for a sick child. When I called twice, neither call was answered, so I decided to drive there myself. When I arrived, the lady was so rude and kept making remarks on my accent, and then later decided to keep going and make the whole thing seem like my own fault. If you plan on doing their automatic refill service, pay VERY close attention to the expiration date on the prescription. I had one more refill on a prescription that expired the 21st...Apparently, no one thought to check, including myself, and the refill was denied because the autofill usually went through on the 23rd. However, I will say that when I was able to talk to someone 'in charge', Nickol the pharmacist was really helpful in giving me ideas on how to handle the issue. All in all I have never had an issue with this facility- they fill things and help people as fast as they can. I've never had a pharmacy experience anywhere that didn't involve waiting in line or waiting for your meds for at least 10 minutes. read more

They are the most unorganized rude pharmacy in town they send you running in circles doing their job for them call you to pick up RX when they aren't actually filled. Not a single staff member I have felt with in the pharmacy is competent or even nice they clearly hate being there. Terrible service at the pharmacy. I dropped off a prescription and said I'd wait, they said it would be an hour, no problem. When I returned an hour and a half later, they said it wasn't ready and it would be another 30 minutes. While waiting I had to watch the store manager yell at a customer who was denied a sale price on one of her items. A very confused, disorganized, tense atmosphere in this store. The reason I'm giving this place one star is because of a customer service representative named Teresa (It could be spelled Theresa since I asked the other girl the name of this ignorant woman.) I came in that store to get some stuff I needed with my mother. As we're ready to check out, the designated cashier was on the other side of the store and was having us wait. She didn't look very busy. When she finally came over, my mother asked her where the Atkins Bars were. She was giving her the weirdest look and was talking crap with another customer about my mom's accent. Since I'm an educated Americanized woman, I made sure they both knew that I heard them and clarified what my mother was trying to say. The customer looked embarrassed and Theresa continued to act annoyed. It seemed that Teresa didn't even know what Atkin bars were even after the clarification. It's obvious this woman doesn't watch her weight. I don't understand how someone could be so ignorant and unintelligent at the same time. She basically said if we had any kind of bars like that then they would be in a certain aisle. We came back to check out again and my mom understood that Teresa was annoyed. She told Teresa directly that she was simply trying to ask her where the Atkins Bars were and she didn't understand why she couldn't understand. Teresa replied that she didn't understand my mom's accent. Her tone seemed so condescending and rude. I almost lost my s*** right there and then. I really don't want this to be against this location. This is really about a person who doesn't understand that she works in a country full of different cultures and she should be patient considering she's representing the company she works for. read more

This is for pharmacy: I had a prescription called in, but when I went to pick it up, they had no record of it. Apparently, there's a backlog the pharmacist needs to go through. So 2 days ago I have had the worst experience I have ever had with a cvs pharmacy ! I have been going to this cvs for about 3 years now and every time there had been a problem! But I thought I would give it another chance! Never again! The staff is rude! They tell me every time that they have not received the fax from the Dr when they have!!! This has happened multiple times! The wait is unbelievable! I'm talking 4 hours and then when they call my name they tell me all but 1 is ready! "Would u like to wait for the other" wtf! I will never step foot back in that place ever! And on top of everything I checked my meds today and to my total surprise it is the wrong medication!!! I put trust in that pharmacist! This CVS Pharmacy Dept. should temporarily close down for customer courtesy training 101. They are experts at keeping their eyes averted from the long line at the pharmacy counter. The Pharmacy customer service is just not there. They know you need the medicine and pain drugs. They know you will stand there like a statue until hell freezes over. You wait patiently in line, still waiting, wait a little longer, almost there, phone rings and Whammo! the phone call gets more attention and service than you get. Okay! now it is your turn, amazing....Whoops! we called you to tell you your prescription is ready, wrong, it is not ready....it will be ready in 20 minutes. No one knows how to smile or say sorry, no one says anything, they act like you are not a valued customer. They used to have nicer people working there, what happened? This Pharmacy needs help. The employees seem really unhappy and it shows. I am always disappointed to have to go there to pick up prescription medication. Strangely enough the CVS Photo Dept. is very helpful with printing pictures and always willing to open up a register and help get the line down with a smile. read more

Do not use their pharmacy! Last month I called in for a prescription refill in Thurs to pick up on Fri. Got a call that the prescription needed the doctors ok and would be ready on Monday!!! This month I called in Thurs at 2 pm for a 9 am pick up on Fri. I was late and arrived at 1:30 pm. Not only was my prescription not filled (now 24 hours later) but the pharmacist was out to lunch and was busy with flu shots! So here it is Saturday (48 hours later) and the pharmacy does not open until 10 am!!! I only live 14 mikes away!!! Switching pharmacies!!! read more

Very depressed and moody cashier, usually working at Checksatnd #2. Won't greet you, even if you say hello. She will say: (in a majority depressed "Eeyore" voice) "you wanna bag?" I thought she might have been just having a bad day earlier this week, but today I came up to Checkstand #2; same thing: no greeting, just: "you wanna bag?" And she looks downward. This lady's name starts with a "J". Many times the only interaction a customer will have with a store employee during their shopping experience is with the cashier. And that's OK...its a self-service environment, but for many customers, they will get their impression on the company as a whole with just who they interact with. So, from now on, if "J" is stationed at a checkstand, I'm not going through her line. If she's the only cashier at the front of the store (yes, I understand that employees are set in place according to volume of shoppers, and there are slow times) but if "J" is the only cashier available, I'll turn around and walk out of CVS and spend my money at Rite Aid. "J" makes a customer feel unwanted, and I feel strongly this is her typical behavior and a reflection of a management-problem. It shows a low standard. This poor depressed moody lady probably shouldn't have a job working in the public. read more

Lots of one stars but I'm giving the Pharmacy 5 stars because of Nicole, she was a superstar! I, like many others in this area, am on vacation and forgot 2 important meds. I have Kaiser so called them and they said no problem, find a pharmacy and have them call us and we will take care of it. I tried Walmart first and Mary was not very helpful. She said Kaiser had to call them and it had to be a new prescription, blah, blah, blah. That would require me to contact my doctor, have him write new prescriptions for a 5 day supply, and then I would have to beg the pharmacy to call Walmart. Then I realized, wait- call a pharmacy that actually offers service. So CVS on Mono at some Junction is where I got a hold of Nicole. She took all my info, called Kaiser and got me a 5 day supply to hold me over. No hassles, just pure service with a pleasant demeanor. You rock Nicole- thanks again! And if I reviewed the wrong CVS, please let me know so I can get this right, thanks! read more

I have only had great experience at this store. The pharmacy helped me navigate through all my medications. Even making sure my major med (which isn't a "normal" med was in stock. And the rest of the cvs within the store is helpful. read more

The worse cvs ever. They said our Insurance denied our prescription. Called optimum and they said they never got anything from them. On a prescription already authorized for the year. My daughter and her baby very sick. Doctors called prescription. The next day no prescription. They said she had to wait 45 minutes. Then she waited another hour. I like CVS for most things but like Rite Aid better. Years ago CVS would not fill a prescription if you were with the union and that should be against the law. I had a union job then which was well worth it. Ride Aid never gave me a problem and always filled my prescriptions. Other than that, all the check out clerks are very nice...no complaints. read more

Every time you fill your prescriptions its a different policy with no regard to the actual law. Anyone receiving pain medication is harassed and inconvenienced. Gloria has no business in any form of job dealing with healthcare she is at best ice cold. If you call there customer service and complain they take their harassment to a new level. Today they made up the rule you cannot drop of your prescriptions until the day they are due. So instead of picking up your medications you need to sit there and wait and slow they are. I wonder how they would feel if they were in the customers place maybe then they would treat the customer with dignity and respect but not until then. read more
