I'm giving this CVS Pharmacy four stars mainly because of the amazing staff at this location. They are very understaffed.. nothing out of the ordinary about the store itself, but the small team truly makes all the difference. Shout out to the evening cashier. They are always friendly, helpful, and consistently available to assist me with anything I need. Every visit feels smooth and easy. The store is clean, well-organized, and efficient, making it quick for me to get in and out and take care of my business. Looking for a location with the Moderna vax, I searched the CVS website and this location was the closest to me and made an 6:15pm appointment on a Friday. Located in the Washington Plaza, parking was challenging but was able to find parking on the north side of the plaza. Checked in at the Pharmacy vaccine window and was directed to wait at the vax area. The pharmacist came out and verified my ID and was given the shot and was on my way with a $10 off $20 coupon. This CVS is severely understaffed. I needed something that was locked up, pressed the help button, 15 mins later still no one came to help. It's 4pm and the line is super long with only two cashiers. One cashier refused service and was just like shes not taking anymore customers at her register, while the other cashier just lets other customers cut right in front. I went to pick up some meds from the pharmacy, and also some band-aids, and this whole trip took an hour. read more

Never coming back because it is severely understaffed. They had only 1 employee working outside the pharmacy. As a result, there was no one available to go unlock all the items behind locked shelves and I spent the entire time hearing "customer service needed in the cosmetics department" on repeat because the only person working needed to be at the checkout. read more

Pharmacy staff are nice but holy crow is this place locked up tight. Don't plan on buying a roll of mentos without asking a staff member to unlock a cabinet. Running in to grab a few things in less than 5m is impossible due to everything being locked. read more

You can't even shop here! They made it so difficult by getting rid of all the shopping carts and even the small shopping baskets. The reason? "Because people steal them." They wouldn't steal them if staff went out into the parking lot and brought them back into the store more often. There are several able-bodied staff members leaning on counters and chit chatting. They have deals to get lower prices if you buy six of certain items. You can't even carry six. I bet their sales are way down. There's another CVS nearby, so I won't be back. read more

Crappy service. States online they close at 10pm and we arrived at 8:25 to employees with attitudes and announcing over the speakers to make it to the front with our selections because they close in 30 minutes (calm down, this isn't Walmart, people go in to get a few items 20 minutes max - no one is grocery shopping here.) Anyways, we grab our 3 items and head to the front where there's no line and one register open. She was helping someone and redirected us to cashier 2 and told the girl sitting on top of register 3 blabbing away to the security guard to ring us up. Kid you not, she stared right at us rolled her eyes and sighed super loudly. When she said hello to us at the register i said hello back and that we didn't want to be there as much as she didn't. I'm fine with a cashier ringing me up with no conversation and just shrugging me off if their having a bad day but the demeanor she had before even approaching the register when asked to help us was uncalled for. She didn't even try to hide it then tried coming to the register as if we hadn't just seen her reaction. Management, hire better. Like I said, everyone has there bad days and that's understandable but that was unacceptable. Get a different job if you don't want to deal with people. read more

Since I've been sheltered in place, I have been cooking, washing dishes every night, and accumulating trash I cannot recycle. Needed trash bags and dish soap! The doors automatically open. Losing stars I was in this CVS just now, 0810 on 2/23/23, and buying sundry hygiene products. A bearded young man went out of his way to give me 25% off of blades because the special had only one pack left= 5 stars ! When checking out I said I wanted to use my extra coupon and the b*** cashier tossed the long receipt back saying "You have to tear it out!" (Really ? YOU can't scan the right one ? OK) As I tore the correct part of a long receipt out I clipped the corner of the intended barcode and she said "You tore the barcode !" I asked if she had tape- "NO tape- huff/puff" (B**** you started the problem by trying to make me carry your water !) After all that, after she scanned it and I paid she put the rest of that long receipt in my bag. I looked in her eyes and said "Oh, thanks for the trash " she said "Your other coupons " which would sound reasonable were it not for her crap attitude prior. Not the best location to shop due to lack of parking. The store was well organized and clean, a hard thing to manage when you carry so many tiny SKUs (I managed a retail store in my past life and know how gruesome of a task it can be). There were a few areas where they needed help with loss prevention; I found two boxes that had had their contents removed. Hopefully they're checking! The woman who rung me up last night was on point! Telling jokes to customers while efficiently ringing up their wares. She had a great attitude and made me feel welcome. Come to think of it, the last time I was here the clerk that helped me was also excellent at all things customer service! I'll come back just for that. Keep it up team! read more

Wish I could give more stars but for the love of god the wait times to get your medication is horrendous. There's a minimum of 10 people in line at the moment and 1 register person. Each transaction is averaging about 10min. I've been in line for 20min and there's about 8 people still in front of me. Not only that but if you have a problem with your prescription good luck with them reaching out to your doctor and getting your medication updated over the phone. You have to come in to get results here. 2 stars for the very nice employees. It's not their fault they are seriously understaffed and need help. read more

This morning, there was some confusion regarding my return and repurchase with a coupon - the cashier, Lupe, was friendly, apologetic (though she didn't need to be) and courteous throughout the rather long transaction. I've been going to various CVS' for a while now...when I lived in Long Beach (formerly a 24 hour store, but they cut back on their hours while I lived in the area) & Michigan (also a 24 hour store when I was going there). This one is not 24 hours. So, back when I lived in Michigan, I signed up for their "extra care" rewards program, which is nice, because I get coupons all the time through it. I tend to get most of my toiletries/personal care items (soap, shampoo, cotton swabs, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.) here. The staff in the pharmacy is pretty nice, & more professional than the other CVS that I transferred from. I signed up to get texts when my prescriptions are ready, & I also signed up for automatic refill. The texts would be better if it could specify which prescription it was for. At certain times, there is only 1 tech working up front, & the line can get long. As for the rest of the store, it's pretty well stocked & organized, & clean. The few times I've needed assistance, they were helpful & nice. So, I'm trying to be patient & wait my turn, when a car that's apparently impatient, squeezes past my car on the left, but doesn't have quite enough room & whacks my side mirror, proceeds to turn left onto the side going the wrong direction & taking off. All I could do was lean on my horn at them, yell at them, & have a temper tantrum. No, I didn't keep my cool enough to think to grab a license plate number in the brief moment that happened. I only come to this CVS if I'm in this shopping center. But I feel bad for the employees here; usually, there's only 1 pharmacist on duty, and only 1 check-out line available. And when I come in, I don't play for a quick in-and-out, b/c there will be a line of customers waiting to pay. The store is clean and I can usually find what I need. Late night and only two people working the pharmacy and you would expect a looonng line and long wait time but they were accepting prescriptions, filling them, doing consultations, and rigging people up without a problem. Are you seriously asking me this question right now why would you want to do that?" Came here for a flu shot last night a little before 7pm. They were definitely understaffed but the pharmacist and her tech did an excellent job. The tech kept his cool and showed a lot of patience; long line and never ending phone calls. They close at 8pm but it appeared it would probably drag on past that time since it was really busy. Dr. Kim, the Pharmacist briefed me and administered my first in my lifetime flu shot and I didn't feel a thing and I was on my way. The secret is to relax and look the other way. read more

My dad is in a convalescent hospital.Normally I have his His medicines through a delivery service there.But when certain medication's like Norco is ordered I have to walk a prescription right into a pharmacy directly show that my drivers license they check out to see if it's legit and sometimes even call the convalescent home.Now I am 65 years old. This girl the pharmacy tech that was at the register treated me like I was trash and had a phony prescription she even refused to give my license to the pharmacist and show her it was legit or let her talk to me. She just shook her head and then she walked back there and they had a seven minute talk and I knew exactly what they were doing then she came back and said we don't have this type of medicine and we can't read what this says anyway. She acted like I was bringing in a fake prescription and they have Waze where they can check them. She just kind of shoved it back to me and did her eyebrows and shook her head and I told her that the way she treated me was not right and I know exactly what they're doing I will never go there again and she just didn't care I told the assistant manager hopefully he'll talk to her I'm getting hold of corporate tomorrow most of the text no me there and for some reason that one that knows me it wasn't there tonight. I have been to many CVS's around and although I don't think any CVS stores has the best service, this has to be the worst one. I came in today with a coupon that I printed out from my e-mail, straight from the CVS offers and the person at the register said I couldn't use it because my CVS card number is not on it. Uhm.. what? Okay, so I tried to explain to him that I did print it out from my e-mail and it was the full page I printed out also, so I don't get why there wasn't my code on it & he said it's not my coupon so I took it out, uhmm.. what the hell are you talking about?! He ended up giving me the coupon for the items I purchased, but he had such an attitude problem & was so rude. When I went home, I looked at the same exact e-mail that I printed & there wasn't even a code on it with my card at all, like I tried to explain to him. Picked up a zpack for bronchitis from here. Was ready when I got there. Line was not bad and staff friendly. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is parking. It's in the middle of a very busy shopping center with many restaurants and a grocery store. It's very tough to get parking here in a weekend day. This is a huge CVS, hardly packed, and the staff are willing to help you when you need it. I was there to visit the pharmacy section for Vitamin D, who would have known there were so many different types of vitamins?! It was easy to find and not that expensive, I think a bottle of 100 pills costs $10. It's not a bad CVS and I will return. read more

Came here to pick up items for an emergency bridal kit for my sis' wedding. This is a huge store, yet everything was easy to find. Definitely appreciate their wide selection of make up and travel items! Staff are friendly and patient with customers.
