In the last month and a half, I have caught two major errors in prescriptions. First one: only 30 of 90 days was filled. Someone marked it as a complete order. I had to go up there and explain, brought the bottle, and had to watch them try to figure it out on the computer. They fixed it with no issue and I was able to get the other 60 pills, but they still had no idea how it happened in the first place. Second one: Multiple errors! My son had an increased dosage of a med and I went to pick up the refill. When I got home, I found that it was the old dosage and not the current one. I had to deep dive online to find that they never discontinued the old prescription. On top of that, the label said there was only 40 mLs in the bottle, but there was easily a lot more than that. I had to bring it all up to the pharmacy to have them fix it. The pharmacist was able to fix it, but online it still shows that the old prescription is ready for pickup. I guess I will find out next month if it is actually discontinued or if another error will be made. I'm very concerned that if I found two errors with ours, how many people are picking up meds with errors that don't notice it.

I also grab hair clips, shampoo, nail polish, greeting cards, gifts, snacks. I utilized the photo center recently for a few prints and the ordering process and pickup experience were seamless. It evoked memories of the old days when we blindly snapped photos on 35mm, not getting to find out for sometimes days or even weeks how silly or cool we looked. But I digress. I called again, I drove to the location, which is 10 minutes away, and they still had not answered. Totally unacceptable!! I received a text 5:15 NYE stating meds were ready well I went today and she laughed said its supposed to be in on her delivery and then smirked. As I was leaving the truck was in the parking lot. I asked when is the delivery coming in she shrugged her shoulders and said "well it's supposed to be in around 11 but with the holidays I just don't know and I can't give you what I don't have". Excuse me? How is a pharmacy not aware of whether life-saving medication is available? It was 9pm, I had no options, and the pharmacist showed zero care or concern. His "solution" was to tell me I could try CVS or Walmart neither of which are open 24/7. Then he had the audacity to say, "well, emergency rooms are open." Are you paying my ER copay? This is not only unprofessional, it's dangerous. This is life-sustaining medication, not a bottle of Tylenol. The lack of accountability, compassion, and basic professionalism from the pharmacist was unacceptable. I genuinely don't know how this individual is trusted to run a pharmacy. Walgreens needs to take a hard look at their standards of care and how their staff are handling patients who rely on them for critical medication.

Complaint: Madi, pharmacy tech, said I would need to come inside for the Claritin because she was busy. There was 1 person behind me and 1 at the counter inside on a Sunday evening. This did not sit well as it sounds like she was too busy to help me and wanted to service other people - I felt rushed out the door. This is not the type of service I want to experience every month when I pick up my medications. You might get half of your medications but at a cost of poor customer service. Very disappointing.
