This stores pharmacy is dangerously out of sorts. I brought in prescriptions to transfer to this CVS, and 3 of them I needed a refill on, plus my doctors office had called in a new one the previous day. I was told they would have to order one of them and it would be in the following day by 11, and the other two would be done in 4 hours, and they never received a call from my doctors. I called my doctors office, they checked to make sure they were sending it to the right pharmacy and said they would resend it. I decided not to go back to CVS until the following day when my other prescription would be in. The following day I call in the morning to see if my prescriptions are ready. I am told they haven't even begun working on them. I'm flabbergasted. I said, "I was told that they would be completed yesterday except for one that would be in by 11 today and now you're telling me they haven't even started?" She tells me to give them 15 minutes and she'll fill them... except for the one, which will have to be ordered. You know, that one that was supposed to be ordered the day before? I ask her about the prescription my doctor called in and she said they don't have anything from my doctor. I said I have called them already and they said they sent it the first time and then resent it. Then she proceeds to tell me that there is a voicemail on my account but she hasn't had time to listen to it yet and if it's my prescription she'll fill that too and it will be ready. I tell her I'll do her one better, and they can have an hour and a half to fill those prescriptions. Well I don't get there in an hour and a half. 3 1/2 hours later I get a call from CVS though and it's a new girl telling me that they have to order one of my prescriptions and this is a different prescription than the one I was already told they had to order! Then I'm told that none of my prescriptions have been touched. So nobody ordered my prescription on Wednesday to be ready for pick up today by 11. Nobody refilled the other two prescriptions that I was told would be done in four hours on Wednesday!! And now I'm being told that I actually have to wait on two prescriptions since nothing got ordered, and they only have one in store, and they still don't have a call from my doctor! I ask her about the voicemail that is supposed to be on my account waiting for someone to listen to. She says she doesn't see a voicemail. So now the voicemails gone.
How many prescriptions do I have right now? Zero. Apparently everything will be in tomorrow by 4 o'clock. I highly doubt it, but the moment I get my hands on my prescriptions I am taking everything back to Rite Aid. This was the biggest mistake!! Their incompetence in that Pharmacy can get somebody hospitalized! If someone's waiting on a necessary medication that they are being told will be ready in 15 minutes or four hours or the following day, you better be sure it is ready! I originally thought that this pharmacy was in dire need of more employees. I waited so long just to drop off my prescription that 6 of the 7 people behind me finally turned around and left. But now I realize that the people that are in the pharmacy can't even do their job right. So unless they hire some competent employees in the pharmacy, this CVS will never get my business again. read more
