Make sure not to take long as they will open the restroom and demand that you hurry as a line forma quickly. This is one of the reviews that I would give a 0 if I could. My mom is diabetic and for some reason this location gives her such a hard time to get her medication. They always give her attitude and even started yelling at her at one point. My mom needs her medication but there are times where she has to go days without her insulin. They are not helpful when she tries to be nice and sort it out. I am understanding that the healthcare industry is very difficult and they can come across difficult people. But my mom is not one of them and regardless they need to realize that these are peoples lives they deal with. read more

I want to start by saying that I highly doubt the store or pharmacist ever reviews and responds to their customers. I haven't done a review for a decade, and I am wasting my time on this one just to put it out there; they need to clean house the entire pharmacist staff I spoke to on 1/27/2022 around 9 pm. The woman that spoke told me I couldn't get my medication on the day I get it when my CVS app says I can pick it up on or after the day off my medicine. I thought this 24/7 one was convenient since I am about 80 miles from my home CVS and out of the thousands of dollars of medication purchases/refills, I was denied a refill due to a manager rule I had to wait a day after that the actual date I could refill. Out of five years at CVS, this is the first one that lied and denied me refill service, but when I got to talk to the manager, a man answered and, as I was explaining, spoke ahead of me and interrupted to then hang up on me. I will never recommend a new business to this pharmacy ever in my life. My history of refills has always been the day eligible, especially with gas prices. I could get it as I am already driving in the area for another event. The staff should get fired by corporate if they genuinely care about customers' needs, and the legality of the medicine is a make-it-or-break-it kind of thing to my health. I glanced at the reviews and saw other behavioral issues with the manager and staff. No surprise. the district manager or whoever oversees this location needs to make changes that will increase their revenue by customers that talk well about their place. I hope CVS makes changes to remove these destructive behaviors by terminating these staff. This a horrible reflection of your store location, all because the pharmacy decides to make rules up against both law and policy states at CVS Pharmacy. I say either fire the pharmacy team and hire a new team with ethical behavior and customer service capabilities or stop going to this and go to a pharmacy like Walmart or any other one besides this until they go bankrupt. Took forever to get a vaccine even with an appointment. 40+ minutes before a doctor even came to set up the room for shots

This has been a nightmare dealing with them. As a diabetic I need my supplies filled when I am low. I have been going back and forth with them now for over a week to get test strips refills done as my previous ones have been discontinued. They take no ownership point fingers at the doctors . Well I call the doctor and was advised that they hung up pn them twice trying to get me taken care of. People on their phone are rude and try to talk over me and put me on hold without even letting me know. Today one of the employees told us that we could not park there and that our cars could be towed. Really?? Great community relationship building CVS. I have never had a manager in the store be so rude and obnoxious to me as this man was. He refused to let a woman with a medical condition use the restroom. It is not posted that the restroom not for public use. It isn't posted anywhere on or in the store that there is no public restroom. He very rudely said that this was his policy. I called to ask if they carried an item. Three times three different employees picked up the same call after being put on hold. I had to constantly repeat myself. The first gal understood what I was asking for and placed me on hold. But then a second lady answered, with absolutely no professionalism, didn't even say she was placing me on hold when I heard that I was placed on hold once again. The last employee, who's name I didn't get, laughed when I told him what I was looking for. Which I consider to be extremely rude and unprofessional. If it would be possible to leave no stars I happily would. My sister and I were in this store Friday evening. Just like the last time we were there, there are No Shopping Carts Or Baskets Available! CVS said they were all stolen. Ok... And they are not being replaced why ??? So, be prepared to carry everything yourself. I am disabled and almost seventy years old. I tried to purchase three items and waited ten minutes, or more while being the only person standing at the counter. I will start this off by saying I 100% understand being short staffed, and I appreciate folks that have worked the front lines through the pandemic...BUT, when you have zero customer service or empathy at all...that's where you lose me. I used to use this pharmacy because it was closest to my home, I've since moved but STILL use this store because it's a 24-hour pharmacy location and I have an extremely limited schedule and I need the drive-through--I use the drive-through out of necessity, not convenience because there is nothing convenient about it. The last few times I've been here the level of "service" been absolutely abysmal, nobody here knows how to treat customers. Not the manager, pharmacist, or any of the cashiers. Now, to today's experience; I arrive at the store at 7:05pm and there are about 6 cars ahead of me, the parking lot and drive-through are not set up for a line this long, there are cars going in several directions trying to avoid overflowing into the busy street and to avoid blocking incoming and outgoing cars. After it is FINALLY my turn...at 8:20, the employee opens the window to say "we're closed. We closed at 8". Um what? I've just waited over an hour, to be turned away at the window? I advised that I'd been waiting in line since well before closing and she said, "well we have no way of telling you not to wait"...here are some suggestions...update the website with correct hours, add temporary hours information to google, send someone outside to put cones to block the drive-through after the last vehicle at 8...no way to tell customers that their hours are different, sorry, not buying it. I get having to adjust hours, I really do. But this isn't posted ANYWHERE except a paper on the drive-through window. And how else would I be able to read that except by waiting in the hour long line? Let's not even get into the reason why it would take an hour to service 6 customers to begin with. On top of all of this, I keep getting texts threatening to return my rx to the shelf because it hadn't been picked up. Once I'm finally able to actually secure my rx I will be transferring to another pharmacy. I will also be contacting corporate. The fact that this location has THIS many negative reviews and there hasn't been a complete staffing overhaul, or at least some kind of management training is mind blowing to me. read more

They hire a bunch of incompetent fucks who either give you the wrong pills, don't have your refills ready when stated, give you an inaccurate or unknown date of refill, and are extremely rude more often than not. I tried to refill a prescription and a lady told me it was too early and that it would be ready on February 31st (which has never been a day in history, mind you). But then, magically, my prescription went through on the 24th. So I go to pick it up only to be told that the only reason it was ready sooner than the end of the month was because they put it in the system that I would pay in cash instead of through my insurance. Um... what?? Anyway, to make a short story long, avoid this place at all costs. Everyone who wears a white coat there is a complete idiot and will make you want to jump off a balcony. read more

I don't know why everyone is hating on this store...this review is for the pharmacy (although the other staff were pretty nice to me as well). I went in at 4am because I couldn't sleep and had a written script from my (out of town) doc for a sleeping aid that Walgreens in Moreno Valley refused to fill until they could call and confirm with my doc on Monday morning. So I told them peace out and went to this CVS. The pharmacist, Matt, promptly helped me. He entered all my info, asked for my new Riverside address and told me 20 minutes (making the estimated ready time 4:30am). I said thank you and went to sit and read the book I brought. At 4:20, Matt looked up, called my name, and said my Rx was ready! I am so grateful to him that I get to sleep tonight. He also made some small talk with me (he's moving to where I just moved from, weird coincidence) and was just overall very friendly. Even gave me a tip to not wear my SF ball cap in LA but said I should be safe in Riverside (obviously something I already knew...knowing how Dodger fans can be - and I don't blame them, they are just jealous, as I would be if the Dodgers rocked and the Giants sucked). I generally hate going to new pharmacies, especially in the middle of the night, as they give you weird looks, like "why couldn't this wait till morning???" But I got none of that here and would definitely go again in the unfortunate circumstance I need a last minute, middle of the night Rx filled. Thank you, Matt, for making it pain free. read more

I only shop here now if I have no other choice!!! You can not come here in a hurry either!!!! There are NO registers open , they make you self-check out.... which you would think would be fast... BUT its not!! for one, there is always a line to check out ((and even seeing that, the clerks don't open any registers)) AND when you self checkout, a clerk hoovers over you (until you actually need them, and then they are busy)... with self check out... you have to wait for a clerk to check your credit card if you are using one... and you cant use coupons (but there are no registers open so you have to wait for assistance) there is NO customer service here at all and I really REALLY really do not like this store. read more

Ahhh the pharmacy. Big Pharma" and all that. Wow, looks like it's unanimous... This place is kind of devoid of any "good Chi" Had my Doctor carefully explain one of my new meds. I googled it when I got home and The consultation of the new med was a bit ... Off? Their blood pressure machine doesn't even work, so how can people know their BP if they didn't just come from a doctor? Derrrrrrrrrr The guy who seems to run the Pharmacy turned out to be a good guy, who call me personally about some drug issue. That was appreciated. The men who work in the pharmacy are all very nice and laugh at my stupid jokes (seriously, they deal with sick people all day, they need a smile!) What I find odd, is that as many, many many times as I have gone to this pharmacy, not a single person ever acts like i am familiar? This is especially true of the women. Brrrr cold, grim, faces. (with one exception for one lovely gal) I get they are busy, but come on... Two years later with bi-weekly visits you'd think they'd wave at me or toss me a complimentary cough drop. What the heck is going on with all the bad reviews Riversidians?? I have been to many CVS stores and pharmacies in my day but when I walked into this one I gasped. I know that is extreme, but if you ever stop in you will notice the difference. It is a CVS/mini mart and it's huge! They have everything a normal CVS would have but the set up is cool bc they display everything in such a way that they make you want to shop for things you don't need. Kinda like target. Plus they have food items like a 7/11! I went in initially to see if I could switch my prescription from my old CVS. The pharmacy team was helpful. The first guy that helped me wasn't the best but he wasn't a total jerk. The person that ended up helping me, transferred my rx quickly and easily. She was nice and I am super happy I can pick up my rx in riverside rather than driving all the way to hacienda heights. Next stop was the wine aisle. Wow! For a CVS, they are pretty sophisticated. So many choices both on the shelf and cold. If I ever need to pick up a quick bottle, this is my new spot. At check out, we were assisted by a very nice lady who changed my preferences. I will never receive a 10 foot receipt again! She linked email, so all receipts will be emailed from now on. We just saved 27286473474875 trees!! Horrible customer service. I was in early and there were no other customers waiting. I presented my prescription for common post op pain pills and was told they didn't have them. When I inquired about them ordering them for me I was told by the rude young man behind the counter that he didn't want to order them because they had to order 50 pills at a time and didn't want to be stuck with extras since my prescription was for less than that. Are you kidding me? On top of that his appearance was extremely unprofessional; I'd suggest they get a dress code or require the pharmacy staff to wear scrubs. My wife and I stopped in on 5-27-17, a very nice lady helped us locate the medicine we were looking for and we were getting a few other items. We went to self check out and one item we bought was 2 for $7 but both items came up at $5.99 each. The same lady helped us but the register wouldn't take the advertised price, she asked her manager for an override and he was very snotty about helping her and said we had to use a register. We moved over there and the same thing happened and when she again asked the manager for an override he raised his voice at her and said " for what! " at that point my wife got angry and said never mind and told the manager he was very rude and needed to treat people nicer, and said we will take our business elsewhere. I went today that get my prescription filled around 1pm and first of all everybody at the pharmacy was so rude! I was in pain & there was like 5 people in front of me for pick up so I went and sat a little while the line was shorter which it did after a few minutes so when it was my turn the blonde hair girl said.. I'll b right back with u.. & went to the back to talk & laugh with other employees, she clearly didn't wanna help me. So the other pharmacy cashier helped me when she was done with the other customer, but same thing.. very rude!!! This place is horrible! I don't get how can they have such a bad customer service!
