My local pharmacy for decades. Always friendly with great employees and service! And they allow my dog to come in!

Worse yet: the very young nurse practitioner already made up her mind that antibiotics were a no go before the formal request. (During intake, the person doing vitals asked what the problem was and stated antibiotics weren't prescribed unless symptoms were significantly worse and for longer. Should have walked out then.) Did you know the rate for meningitis goes up if you let strep linger for longer? I had an extremely disturbing experience at this pharmacy, particularly with the pharmacist. If…read moreyou've had a similar experience, I strongly encourage you to report it. What I encountered was not just frustrating, it was alarming, and based on conversations I've had, I am not the only one. If you're part of the Richmond community, I would seriously consider going elsewhere, whether to a private pharmacy or a Walgreens location, where patients are treated with basic respect and professionalism. In contrast, I was repeatedly harassed during my visits here. As someone with a disability, I am especially disturbed by the complete lack of awareness and compassion demonstrated. This goes far beyond inconvenience or customer service, this is about safety and ethics. A pharmacist holds a position of trust, and behavior such as yelling, denying medication without clear explanation, and consistent aggression is unacceptable. What is most concerning is that this individual openly stated they do not care about being kind. That is not just unprofessional, it raises serious concerns about patient care and oversight. Any company responsible for dispensing medication should ensure their staff meet not only technical standards, but basic human ones as well. If you feel something isn't right, trust your instincts and speak up. The CVS Health Ethics Line is available 24/7 at 877-287-2040.

I've primarily used this CVS for my prescriptions for the better part of the last year. They don't have a drive through lane and there's almost always a wait at the pharmacy, but the associates are generally friendly and try to stay organized. I am surprised they're staying open with the Publix purchase. Most other local businesses have already relocated to new locations, but -- from what I read last -- this CVS is immune. I'll continue to visit for as long as it's convenient.

Bremo provides fantastic service, friendly, unrushed staff, a phone number where you can talk to a human, free delivery, and so much more! They are even able to put your medications in blister packs that have the dates, times of dosage and description of included medication. No longer do I have to wonder if I have taken my medications, if I am double taking my medications or if I have missed multiple days of my medications. I noticed that they also handle medication compounding if you need your or your furry friends medications specially made. Their physical location has a compression clinic, a vaccine clinic, and a fair selection of over the counter medications, supplements and health supplies as well as mobility aids (wheelchairs, rollators and more). I did not see one stuffed animal or bag of chips. It was truly refreshing to be in a pharmacy that seems to be in the business of health, wellness and community care.
