This store looks like a pretty standard convenience store from the outside but it's got two major…read morethings going for it: 1. It is right next to the ABC store. I work within walking distance of Mission Valley so if I stop at the ABC store on the way home, I can leave my car parked and walk over to the 6-12 for whatver mixers/garnishes I need without making an additional stop at the grocery store. On Fridays at 5pm when I'm tired and want to get home, this is crucial! 2. The beer selection is outstanding. These people are WELL stocked with tons of craft, seasonal and local beers. We found Highland Cold Mountain here at the end of last year and just last week - they must have been stashing it in the back! Such a treat if you know how tricky it is to hunt that seasonal down. We went there in search of Bell's Hopslam a few days after it was released and of course they were sold out. However, the owner took our phone number and offered to call us when they got another shipment, which I thought was well above the necessary level of customer service! I will definitely continue to frequent this place.

The location was easy to enter and exit while traveling eastbound on NC Highway 54. Unfortunately, the men's room was very messy and had a foul odor--not the best experience. The coffee area was well maintained, although I had to hunt for the half-and-half. It also had a slop sink, which is a huge bonus for keeping the area clean. Most importantly, my coffee was delicious, and I really enjoyed it. The self-checkout was very slow, and when I asked for assistance, no one came to help. I wasn't planning to purchase gasoline, but I noticed that Sheetz's price was approximately 20 cents per gallon higher than at a station down the street. Overall, the convenient access and delicious coffee were positives, but the messy restroom, lack of assistance, and higher gasoline price detracted from my visit.

This is more of a pharmacy or convenience store than a "market", and we didn't see many fresh items. We found everything we needed, which was mostly snacks and drinks for a chilly night in. They have a large selection of ready to drink single beers, wine, and THC drinks. Everything is pricier than a grocery store or chain pharmacy, but you are paying for the convenience and supporting local.

I'm not a beer drinker but I even saw some ciders I had never seen before that I'd probably be willing to try. The standout of this place is that they had a brand of wine that I haven't been able to find since 2017. I was shook when I saw it. I even checked the brands store locator site and apparently this is 1/2 place near Raleigh that carries it. Needless to say I will be back to stock up on several bottles!
