It started when someone broke the glass at the drive thru, and then all the staffing changes. It was like going to a 3rd world country pharmacy. Long hold times if you were lucky enough to get through, long long waits both inside and the drive thru. It was a nightmare! Collin the pharmacist was on leave at that time and gotta say even I looked into going elsewhere. Once Collin came back (the absolute best pharmacist EVER btw!) things got much better this past year! Yes, sometimes call times can be a bit of a wait, but most times it's not much of a wait at all anymore. (Just don't call right when they open). Things are back to normal! The staff is well trained and friendly as of this writing. As far as Collin, he's so quick, meticulous and good at what he does I would follow him to whatever pharmacy he goes to! Who writes a review about their pharmacist?! ME! Walgreens is lucky to have him, and so am I !!!!!!

The girls at the front are always very kind, and I try to be understanding ...you know, not everything is going to be perfect all the time. But I can genuinely see that they care about helping me and making sure I get my medication. I really appreciate the effort they put in, especially when things get busy.

I've been having issues with them ever since I moved to Frederickson from Federal Way last month. The Safeway pharmacy staffers in Federal Way were content to do their job in a professional manner. By contrast, their counterparts in Frederickson are the pharmaceutical industry equivalent of online trolls, who abuse their positions of trust and their labor union protections to displace Safeway's corporate views with their own entitled bigotry. The staffer who requested my last name Saturday apparently did not care for my answer. Me: "Epstein." Her: "How very unfortunate." That's what we call "editorializing" in the news industry, where I've spent 30 years as a staff writer for The Associated Press, Gannett and Bloomberg News. I'm neither helpless nor particularly tolerant of this kind of entitled bigotry. Being that Epstein is the most common Jewish surname in The U.S., those of you who find group bias distasteful may want to take your business elsewhere. As I have. It's either that or stop carrying the last name I inherited from my war hero dad. He earned two bronze stars for valor and was repeatedly wounded as his company of combat engineers fought their way across Europe during WWII as part of Gen. George Patton's Third Army. Only 23 of the company's original members finished the war. Daddy Epstein was one of them, despite permanent partial hearing and sight loss, a full head of gray hair at 21, and a bad case of what is now known as PTSD. It's my honor to carry the name of this fine American combat veteran (see pic), who had a recurring nightmare until the day he died, at age 85, about the death of his best friend "Whitey" during The Battle of The Elbe River. No doubt, Whitey and my dad would face similar bigotry from the "empowered" Pharmacy techs at this poorly led operation if they were alive today and would have to hope their meds were not tampered with. Eff billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who has tarnished this good name, and eff the Safeway pharmacy trolls in Fredrickson, Wash. I can do better, just by voting with my wallet. I just did that, by changing my pharmacy from Safeway to Amazon Pharmacy Home Delivery.

The line is always long now, I've never found it where there isn't somebody waiting anymore. I used to come up, there's like three people and it goes quick. People on the phone have been pretty surly the last couple of days, there's a male that answers who just is extremely rude with the way he talks, very condescending, very narcissistic. Very disappointing, I've also had a couple of prescriptions. I've been trying to get filled for the last two weeks and it has been a struggle. I used to love coming here, but I'm gonna look for a new pharmacy to get my prescriptions done.
