Love this place. Walk in, scan your Amazon info and shop. The food (meal selection) is very good and value priced. The service is quick and helpful. The great thing is there is no checkout. You get whatever you need and out you go. The technology they have is extremely advanced and accurate. It knows what you picked up and what you kept or did not keep. If it makes an error Amazon is quick to resolve. I recommend stopping in for a quick meal to go or eat it there as the inside offers some seating to eat your meal. It's a relaxed atmosphere but again it's a store with good food. Also if you need some basic groceries they got you covered. read more

I didn't have my Amazon app and was told to get into the store I would have to use my debit or credit card. I returned an item to Amazon and did not buy anything. A few days later I checked my checking account and saw they had charged my debit card $1 to get into the store and then they charged another $19. I had th cancel my debit card since I didn't give them permission to charge me. I never had a problem retuning items to Amazon through Kohls. WARNING about this store's practices. read more

So convenient! Like, as soon as you come into the place and you go into your Amazon app and scan your QR code, that is how you enter the store. You go to a couple of kiosks and purchase hot food, and you pay for it through the app. There's no wait in long lines or any of those things; just simply go through the app, and whatever you pick from the store, you pay for it. There's also a small alcohol section in the back. I believe this is a very good concept that Amazon has come up with. I think overtime, as they continue to expand their menu items, this place will become phenomenal. Definitely like where this is going. read more

Was happy and super impressed when I came in yesterday to return some packages. I walked around after returning them and was so happy to see that things weren't empty and I was and to get just what I wanted. Everyone was so friendly and the facility was clean which was super nice. Seems best time to go is during the day when things are stocked most. read more

Zero stars. Employees standing chitchatting by the entrance too busy to notice I needed help getting in then freaked out on me when I hopped the gate even though I explained I was only returning and not shopping. They said, "We're not going to help you." Like they had offered any help in the first place. Will not return. read more

Think of this place as like an upscale 7-11. They have Kombucha on tap, pink berry and a snack bar where you can order hot/cold sandwiches as well as other hot items. You scan your Amazon code on your app to enter and then you just walk out with your shopping. Amazon will send you a receipt of the items you took. They are located on the corner of 176th and Canyon on the border of Puyallup and Frederickson. My pesto turkey and provolone sandwich was so good. This is the perfect place if you're in a rush and just want to grab something to eat really quick and hit the road again. read more

I have no idea how to rate this place. I really went to check it out. This is a place where you enter using your Amazon account, you look around, take stuff out, put it back, and when you leave, your account is debited by whatever you took. I felt like a criminal at first walking out without paying. We had a conversation with one of the workers who explained how it worked. There are cameras everywhere and each of the shelves has weight sensors. Between those, it figures out who took what and keeps a tally. Freaky. The store is nice and open, not crowded, which added to the intrigue of the place. The prices were a little high for the snacks, but i found a good deal on a couple of locally sourced chocolate bars. I would recommend anyone go just to check out the way it works. This is real Big Brother/ Black Mirror stuff! read more

I came in to process a return on some gloves I got off Amazon. This place is very clean and the people working there were super friendly. It's your standard convenience store layout in the sense of QT or WaWa if you happen to have been to either of those. The point of sale transactions go through the card attached to your Amazon account when you leave the store so it's very easy to make purchases. I asked about cash sales and the employees said they could do cash, but it's not the primary method of payment. If there was one closer to my house I'd likely go there way more often. I will say that I appreciated going to an Amazon location to process the return though. So that's a win. read more

Stopped in twice since they have opened their location on canyon and 176. The parking lot is very cramped with little parking making it a challenge and at times time consuming if your wanting a quick grab and go option. The overall prices are high. $2 for a donut. Other items are expensive as well. Their hot food selection had about 2-3 options. Not sure what time their froyo machine closes but it wasn't opened either time I stopped in. They also offer coffee and slurpee options. Some of their food items, sushi and shelf yogurt, did not look very fresh. On this trip we tried a few of their sandwiches. The chicken one was a bit plain, the ham sandwich for some reason I wasn't a fan, the turkey one was good but the bread fell apart. I would come back for a sandwhich as there aren't many options around but I don't think we'd frequent this place regularly. read more

Had to go check out newly opened Amazon Go near Frederickson off Canyon Road. It's small yet packed with just about anything you could want/use from personal items to prepackaged food like fruit, sandwiches, salads and snacks. Fresh made food such as sandwiches and hot foods to choose from. Was later in the day 4pmish and the hot food selection was very sparse. Lots of beverages to freshly made coffee, cold brew, juices and choices of canned or bottled beverages. It offers Amazon locker pickup and accepts returns. Several employees - I saw at least 6 or 7 all of whom were very friendly, helpful, restocking and answered question. I walked out with a bag of chips and a freshly made BLT and was charged correctly. Cost was a little over $8 which is about what I pay at a sub sandwich stop. read more

It's a very smooth process, but I think there should be a sign stating that you need to have your credit card associated with your Amazon prime account in order to enter the facility. When I went, I tried to scan my QR code and it wouldn't accept it although I was already a prime member, so I think there are some flaws that need to be rectified first other than that it's good to go read more

Easy to get in and out of. The hot sandwiches and coffee are a good deal. I think they get you on all the other sides like chips and snacks. This is such a cool little spot. I don't think I would really shop here often just because I would prefer to go to a grocery store. Nice addition to the area. Inside is smaller than I thought it would be, but lots is packed inside. Lots of selection of fresh and packaged products. Many employees greeting, continually stocking and preparing food. Reasonably priced and fresh food was delicious. While shopping, I walked past 2 gentlemen employees down the frozen food aisle, and overheard them saying some pretty racial comments about some of the ethnicities they have shopping at their location. As I circled back down the same aisle, I was able to grab their names. Aaron (white), and Mike (Black). They didn't seem like regular employees because they weren't wearing aprons like everyone else, so I'm guessing that were part of the management team. As Lakewood being a military, biracial, community this is unacceptable. I will no longer be shopping here. read more

I enjoy Amazon Go, it is an interesting and quick way to get a quick bite or a drink. They have an assortment of fresh foods, made there to order or premade in a refrigerated unit on the floor. The service on made to order food is the best, you order on a tablet, the kitchen then makes it right there. I have never waited more than 5-10(when busy) minutes for my freshly made custom order. The food is delicious, the service is great. Other unique items like a coffee machine, a frozen yogurt machine, kombucha, cold brew, as well as the standard soda machine and icee machine. The prices are a little high but they have a lot of great deals. Buy one get one of 2 for $___, really great place and you can find a quick delicious lunch for a reasonable price. They also carry household items for convenience. The store is clean and easy to use, you don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want too, it's a great store and I will keep returning. read more

I returned some boots to Amazon go on Canyon yesterday. Went to go look at the return status, and it shows it hasn't even been returned. Had to drive 20 minutes back the next day to get issues resolved. The person that helped me yesterday was the same person that helped me today. He said he was management. His name is Jacoby. For some reason he did not even scan my item yesterday for the return. You need to have some sort of receipt you can give your customers when they return the item right away, this way things can be resolved over the phone and not have to drive an additional 20 minutes to take care of some thing that should've been taken care of the first day. I'm pretty upset Amazon. read more
