We parked on the Auto side so no idea where the truckers area is but I've never seen so many gas pumps and they were occupied for the most part. #59 was our spot. Oh and there's electric car recharging stations too! Now what stands out most is how much self-service is centric. Employees are present and very helpful, happy and friendly! You can taste test the brisket, fudge and jerky so don't be shy; I sure wasn't! It was all so delicious! There's anything you could want to eat, pickup for the road or drink including a cappuccino! There's a full self-service coffee spot, complete with milk variety, creamers, sugar and plenty of coffee pots brewing! There's ICEE flavors I never heard of as well. There are fresh sandwiches made to serve, packaged sandwiches and pastries! Nevermind the merchandise on hand! Forget something at home, you name it, you'll find it! Oh and the restrooms... such a clean, well stocked and spacious place. Outside of getting some reasonable gas in our vicinity, I got some fudge (PB/Chocolate, Butter Pecan, Rocky Road), warm glazed almonds and a cup of cappuccino! The fudge is so good! The $3.99 cappuccino I fixed up by adding my favorite syrups!

One of the other employees has horrible hygiene and can be seen smoking outside of the store at any given time. That employee once falsley accused me of yelling at the employee who uses his bird finger to ring you up. The store doesn't have prices on anything and the register doesn't display your total as the cashier is ringing you up. In fact, your total is never displayed and they never give you a reciept. The store is conveniently located but the convenience they offer isn't worth being disrespected.

I like Rural King because they carry everything that you could possibly need for your farm (or backyard garden). This Rural King was well stocked with mowing and other gardening machinery. A good supply of plants were available in six packs that were reasonably priced at $6/6 pk. I was able to find four varieties that I wanted. Inside, the store is neat and well organized. A big sign invites customers to grab a bag of fresh popcorn or a cup of coffee. I got my popcorn, for sure. I always visit the baby chicks when I am at Rural King, which are generally in the back of the store, past the candy and pet supplies. I saw plenty of baby chicks, but left them behind for other backyard farmers. Checkout was down home friendly and quick. They open new registers if there are more than two people in line. The restrooms are at the front of the store and they were clean.
