Is it just me or do we feel like drugstores are gouging us again? This time of year you could…read moretypically find heavily reduced prices on Halloween candy while the stores made room for the Hanukkah and Christmas items. 33% off the elevated and artificially hiked candy prices was a bit of a joke. I actually went in there to pick up a prescription which the online service said was refillable. Made the trip over, waited on the line, which is always long, reached a seemingly disgruntled associate only to find my prescription required doctor approval. So I guess I need to be skeptical of the online information in the future. Nevertheless, while I was there, I filled my shopping cart with some sale items - a good value on brand-name cereal which in our house is a real treat, not a daily consumed item The consumable aisles are outrageously priced thanks to the tariff taxes on the American public, I suppose. Allegedly. Add that to opportunistic price gouging and you've got a dwindling number of super pharmacies, taking advantage of the public. I didn't come by the CVS decision, thoughtfully, in fact when Rite Aid closed other shops and went belly up, my prescription was transferred to CVS and it's close to my home. I'm rethinking that decision, but meanwhile, they managed to get over $200 from me for what amounted to two bags of consumables. My three star review reflects my disappointment and discussed how not just CVS but their partners in crime are gouging the American public - Gillette razors, artificially inflates their regular price and then offers you some kind of "special deal if you buy two so you wind up paying the same thing you would've paid a year ago Only you have some false sense of emotional gratitude Forgive the snarky review, but three stars is generous. My suggestion to CVS is to put more pressure on their suppliers to tone down the pricing while we get through this financial crisis we're in.

The shelves are completely barren. It reminds me of the six months prior to the other Rite Aid…read morelocation on Vassar Road closing down. It's a shame! There were no shopping carts available. When I asked the team, they told me that it all been stolen. All of them! It's crazy that this particular location was left to remain open when there's more theft apparently there than the one they closed on Vassar Road in red Oaks Mill. Add to that, every other shelf was completely empty. I'm told that the truck had not arrived yet, but I can't imagine that much inventory coming in on one truckload. I feel really bad for this team because it looks like a ghost town inside of a very nice building The service was very nice, considering that Morales should be at an all-time low when you have nothing to sell, everybody was pleasant and professional. My main reason for being there was to pick up a prescription. It wasn't ready and it turns out my insurance as expensive as it is didn't arete with this particular Rite Aid that's odd. I feel like that anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield is trying to get me to use CVS instead of Rite Aid, which has been my pharmacy for over a decade I digress: I was really hoping that this shop would have a seasonal aisle so I could pick up a patio umbrella, which is a common item that Rite Aid always carried for decades. No such luck. Take a look at the photographs and see what I saw. It's very sad

Thought that's why you put TWO windows and registers in but last five times I've come, only one working. The people behind the counter move like they're in the last stage of some debilitating disease and you'd catch more smiles at a Nike sweat factory in Honduras. Go re-shelve it. I don't care. The sooner you go out of business the better for everyone so someone competent can take your place. The DMV is looking for workers like you!

The shelves are well stocked, and has more than one or two brands on the shelf of the different items that that company may carry. Not just during Lent, they will cook seafood to order for you. Although, during Lent they were are specials in the seafood department. In the meat department you're not obligated to buy a whole side of beef; you can pick up a couple of spare ribs or maybe two of something. The store is clean and well organized. The aisles are wide enough for two carts to pass, without a problem. There's more than enough free parking outside.

They should promote and give that man who makes and bakes these things an award. I will go as far as to say that the sour dough and the plain bagels are the best in Dutchess county. I tried bagels and sour dough bread from Adam, bagels from the bagel stores and so on... the Price chopper one remain the best ones. Also their sea food department is nice, even though I don't eat seafood in general, I do eat fish and I love the fact that they can fry the haddock for you. That's something not even Adam's does. I stopped shopping here regularly because their produce is not great. Most of the time is mushy and goes bad in a few days. I'm guessing they can't help it if the people don't buy it in time. So they still get my business because I always come and shop there when I need bagels and sour dough.

Aisle signage isn't as helpful as one would expect, I found myself wandering around, without any acknowledgement from floor staff. Check out takes quite awhile anytime after 3p. I stood in the self checkout lane, finally next up and an available clerk opening a new line, took the woman behind me, after looking me directly in the eyes. Wow!!! I did however discover Lindsay's Crafted Martini Olives with a Lemon Twist and Vermouth brine for ~ $4.50. These are an excellent addition to my dirty martinis. After multiple shopping trips here, it's safe to say that this location could use a shift in management. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress.

Only shop for convienience. Will go elsewhere for heavy shopping. Really sad. Alot of my friends work there & work hard, but seems when there is a promotion to be given, it seems they play favorites. One friend in particular has been there for over a year, worked their behind off, was passed over multiple times for a well deserved promotion. I'm not saying this because this person is my friend, but they still have CRAZY hours, like a part time employee. They seem to have their own click because they pick favorites who they'd rather work with, over the more experienced & qualified workers. I guess they run their work enviroment based on WHO you know. WHAT A HORRIBLE WAY TO RUN A GROCERY STORE. EXAMPLE: I know of a person who got a job there because they knew someone that put a word in for them. This person worked there for ONE month & recieved a large promotion plus a raise. On three separate occations this person never called in or showed up for work for several days in a row. They called this person for concerns, & their calls were never answered. The person strolled back into work days later without a valid excuse/reason as to WHY they hadn't returned to work. Needless to say, this happened several times without REPERCUSSIONS. I WOULD NOT WANT TO WORK FOR THIS CORPORATION UNLESS DESPERATE.
