The staff is rude. My medicine is always "on hold" after days and weeks. If I ask them to look into it, it is magically ready. Same thing happens with my boyfriend. I went in today to get medicine that I still haven't had for a week, and the lady says, "Well, your doctor doesn't work here," when I mentioned that I verified with my doctor that they approved and sent it over. Personally thinking of starting to drive the 20 minutes to the second closest CVS (even though this one is a 1 minute walk from me) or anywhere else for my prescriptions. The customer service is horrendous. I understand the volume at which they are helping customers, filling scripts, etc. but that is no excuse to treat your customers poorly - you can still be a nice human while you are stressed and busy. You can genuinely get kinder and quicker service at any college bar here on a bust Friday night. Every time I go in here I leave frustrated after waiting 45 minutes for my script that has been ready for over a day. This past time, they had it sitting in the counter right in front of me for 10-15 minutes before someone came and helped me. The main pharmacist was also very rude to the employees and during my long wait, I heard her yell at the employees. I also do not appreciate when the woman helping me was asking me about my personal prescriptions by shouting from way back in the aisles. Due to Walgreens closing, I had my prescriptions transferred to CVS. I miss Walgreens so much. The first experience I had at CVS wasn't great. The pharmacy wouldn't fill my Rx the doctor called in because they didn't have time due to closing in 30 minutes. I would have been pretty upset if I needed this Rx right away, but I didn't, and so I let it go. The second experience was absolutely brutal. It took me 33 minutes to pick up one prescription that was all ready to go. There was an issue with the price, insurance, and billing which they were not properly trained at handling. I ended up paying twice as much as I should have because I just wanted to checkout and go on my way. But, then they tried charging me $20 over the price of the Rx. Nope. Once they fixed the pricing, the pharmacist needed to release the medication in the system. The pharmacist looked at me and said, I'm not going to do that right now because I'm in the middle of something. Ummm, what?! I just stood there not knowing what to do and the cashier was extremely rude and told me to look around to see how "slammed they are". You can't ever reach a person by phone in a reasonable manner. The drive though is closed intermittently, and you never know what you're going to get staff wise. They had a prescription for three days. I tried to pick it up was told come back in an hour. I came back 73 minutes later and was left to wait a few more minutes. GO TO WALGREENS I made the mistake of having my doctor call in 2 prescriptions to cvs this weekend and when I arrived at the pharmacy the workers didn't acknowledge me and continued to talk and ignore. I even saw a pharmacist kick people's prescriptions out of her way on the floor!!! When they finally decided to give me the time of day, the worker told me only one prescription was available and said I could buy the other medication over the counter. When I asked the bitch where I could find the other medication she pointed to an area across the store and said "maybe over there". I did not end up finding what I wanted and left. Their online system is nigh unusable, but god forbid you expect help from a human person because they won't give it to you, they'll tell you to schedule online (doesn't work) or phone (just a bot, also doesn't work). Hands down, consistently the worst CVS that might exist. I've lived in Dayton, Franklin, Miamisburg, Forest Park, Middletown and Lebanon, Ohio since I turned 18 and had to switch from Walgreens to CVS when I did because of an issue with insurance. I would pay the higher medication prices to be able to switch back to Walgreens if I could. The lines, inside and in the drive through are always very long, and its not abnormal for me to have to wait 30+ minutes... just to DROP OFF an Rx... god forbid you have to pick one up or you're stuck in line behind someone with an issue the pharmacy techs are trying to resolve. The only time I've never had to wait in line (Today), the pharmacy was closed for an hour for lunch.... I have worked at pharmacies in the past just as a customer service representative and a cashier, and never in my life have I seen an entire department of a store close for an hour. Usually, employees stagger their lunches over the course of a few hours so that way you don't have to close down the entire pharmacy or the entire department. Tell me how that makes sense at all. Especially when you only have a short timeframe each day during your own break at work to go to the pharmacy to pick up the medication's that you need. Do better. I understand pharmacy workers are overwhelmed because of Covid and everything, but if you can't handle treating your customers properly, then you need to hire more people. I know it's easier said than done, but on top of the weight times being very long at this location, I'm typically met with a very rude pharmacy tech whenever I'm at the window picking up my prescriptions. I feel like I'm more of an annoyance to them rather than a customer or a "patient". I don't typically like to give places bad reviews just off of one bad experience because I understand that a businesses reputation should not stand solely on one employee or one bad experience. Mistakes happen and people have bad days, But I've been using this pharmacy for about four years now and it has been absolutely awful the entire time I have lived in Oxford. I love the CVS in Oxford, the workers are always very kind to me and they are always well-stocked on everything I would need when I come in.
