I'm aware that this review might not reach the right people that can make it happen but I truly believe she needs a raise since I noticed her doing it all and willing to help everyone in the store, every Walgreens should have an employee like her... Natasha is truly the best!

Nobody in line. They said you need to check in. The photo sku was hidden. The photo sku was facing the inside corner toward the pharmacy. You have to walk to the inside corner then you see it!! No other signs saying please check in. I then wait an another few minutes. A person called me up to confirm. But they don't want payment yet because they are not ready! So I wait another ten minutes then they call me up to pay. Then they tell me to wait again. There is no obvious signs on where you get your shots. There is a waiting room next to the pharmacy. Then this other person says we were looking for you. That's the same person that took my payment about 8 minutes ago. I was right next to the pharmacist room where they have chairs! It is not set up efficiently and lack of signs makes it seem like they don't care about running a business. And during that whole time they were really slow at least inside. It doesn't surprise me that they are not doing well and that they have poor reviews. Hopefully the company that took them over will help them to be efficient. Just poorly run and poorly laid out. It took three different people to process me. It is like watching reverse Darwinism in action.

Beyond the ease of having prescriptions filled or refilled, their kindness is beyond compare. After 25+ years of my "Superman" dealing with stage 4 colon cancer and trying to get his much needed meds there was only constant frustration to obtain his needed medications. He has since passed and I continued dealing with them for myself. The staff at store # have been one like family and they always tried their best to work within the corporate system but the system is broken. The staff there are truly lovely, the problem isn't them. It was the ridiculous way the company dealt with valid prescriptions. I was recommended Garden Drugs by one of my doctors and I still can't believe what a pure pleasure my dealings are. It is personal, kind, understanding all while remaining professional. This is a letter of recommendation to anyone who has had to jump through all the stumbling blocks that the "big stores" have in place. Please if you are still using Walgreens or CVS do yourself a huge favor. Have your physician switch all your scripts to Garden. within months of transferring to Garden one of the biggest frustrations of my life has been eliminated. No more constant time on hold, no more insurance issues or long wait times just to get my scripts filled. the lovely staff at Garden actually call when the meds are ready for pickup, unheard of at Walgreens. I didn't mean to write such a rambling, long review but if I can make anyone's life easier it was worth it. Give them a chance. You will never go back to the horrid corporate companies. very sincerely, Barbara Whitaker

The price for the propane was very competitive to other retailers in the area. Inside the store, it was very nicely lit, clean and organized...not stuff all over the place like some other stores. I hadn't been here in years, and after today, I won't be back anytime soon. I had some time to kill, so I popped in to grab a few things I needed, including deodorant. Well, you would've thought I was looking for the Hope diamond. All of the deodorant was locked away and required an employee to access it with a key. Since when is a $5 stick of deodorant the equivalent of a gold bar? And it's not as if there are a ton of employees sauntering around ready to help. I felt like a crime scene detective walking around the store trying to find someone to unlock the case. But wait, there's more! I went to check out and leave. This store doesn't have any self checkout machines (which I don't necessarily mind, I'm not a robot), but there was only one register open, and seven people already in line. No employee came to open another register. In the meantime, the circus must have been in town based on the various lunatics in line, whether playing music out loud on their phones, screaming in an unidentifiable language, or paying and leaving the store but then coming back in and demanding a receipt from the cashier. Finally, after waiting in line for a minimum of 15 (!!!) minutes, an angel of a woman in the cosmetics section opened a register so I could pay and get the hell out. A woman that was in line behind me also sprinted over. She put it best: "I needed to get away from the freak show going on over there!". I don't know who makes the policies around this place, but I fear it may be too late. If you're looking for a stick of deodorant, or maybe just your sanity, don't bother dropping in. Find somewhere else to go!

I stopped by briefly to get some crackers to go with some goat cheese I received from an acquaintance. I was not very knowledgeable about pairing cheese and crackers, which made it hard to choose. I spotted an employee who was stocking items at the end of the aisle and asked his opinion on which cracker to pair with goat cheese. He recommended pita chips or savory crackers. I decided to go with a box of gluten-free thin crackers; there were many flavor varieties and it was a BOGO item, so that was a plus. As many people were shopping, I waited patiently in the express checkout line to make my purchase. The cashier was pleasant. I may return to this location when necessary.

My experiences at this location are sweet & sour because, for one, the store is on the premises of…read morethe Coral Ridge Mall on N. Federal Highway in east Fort Lauderdale. While it's convenient to stop by on the way home from the mall, or place an order for pickup, parking is challenging and there are many transients who stay around the perimeter. It can often feel unsafe, having seen little "turf wars" on more than one occasion. While taking this into account, the store is open every day from 7 AM - 10 PM, with the pharmacy and liquors from 9 AM - 9 PM. It is well-merchandised & stocked, and the excellent customer service is what we have come to expect from the grocer over the years. To sweeten the shopping experience for us, and aligning with the City of Fort Lauderdale's vision for more modernized and efficient commercial spaces, there is a proposed plan to remodel or revamp this store; making it a two-story structure with improved traffic flow to the area, more parking spaces, and new sidewalks which offer safer amenities for pedestrians.
