I stopped going to CVS and Walgreens over a decade ago so I could use Costco Pharmacy. Their prescription drugs are relatively cheaper because they accept Manufacturer coupons for Tier 3 and Tier 4 (brand name) drugs, and Costco membership is not required. When I was on Ozempic, I paid only $25 out of pocket for a one month supply. Costco's technology skills are up there with the best. Today when I was standing on a long line at the self check out aisle, an employee scanned my digital Costco membership card with his portable scanner and then scanned all the items in my cart. When I finally got to the register and scanned my membership card, my grocery bill automatically appeared. How convenient! There are so many other things that Costco has to offer! Yet, they are sitll there in the shopping center off Broadway (Hicksville 107) and Lewis Street. There is something of a comfort to know this. This was one of the only pharmacies that carried the medication the physician has prescribed. I had previously spoken to Ralph on the phone when the surgeon's office emailed me a list of pharmacies that "may" carry what my child was going to need. I called about 2 weeks prior to the surgery and Ralph said no problem! We will definitely have your medication, we always keep it in stock! After the procedure, I drove to Moby and they had everything I needed. I spoke to Ralph again and he was very kind and knowledgeable. He explained the dosages and said if I had any questions, don't hesitate to call. If I lived closer, I would make this my pharmacy for ALL of my prescription needs!
