OMG!! WORST PHARMACY...if a "pharmacy" is what you want to call them. You need to actually dispense the desired prescriptions to be considered a pharmacy and so far their batting average is 3 out of about 20 (with each transaction requiring at least 4-5 calls between insurance, doctor, and the pharmacist). I don't think there has been a single transaction that hasn't left me completely upset at their incompetence. One xylocaine product that should have cost me under $50 they took a month to "find" and told me it would be $2500. I declined the order but evidently they ordered it anyway. Still, it was evidently backlogged six months. Now they did manage to get that product in and call me every few weeks to tell me it is ready for pick-up. I have told them at least 3 times I didn't order it and didn't want it. But that is the level of incompetence of this group. read more

Conveniently located on the corner of Hidden Valley & Parkridge. Large private parking lot. Always kept clean and the employees are friendly & helpful. Their shelves are always fully stocked. CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Norco, California

Pharmacy was supposed to open at 8am, at 8:35a (on the way to my surgery) we went to the pharmacy to pick up my after surgery pain meds and the pharmacy was closed because the pharmacist was late because of "traffic" and had called at 8 am to say she would be 15 min late. While we were waiting the pharmacist called to say she would probably be about 1 hour late, we couldn't wait any longer and had to go on to the surgery. First of all the 91 is typically bad with traffic I understand, but you plan on it and maybe you are 5 min late, but not 1 hour! Second of all we got on the 91 and what do you know the traffic was clear both ways. After my surgery, I wentback to the CVS, (in pain) we went to the drive thru. Because I have never had these pills before they said I would have to wait to talk to the pharmacist. We told the girl I was in pain and to please hurry, she said ok and just walked away. After 5 min of waiting I got mad parked the car and went inside. After demanding to see the pharmacist they said she had gone to lunch and the other pharmacist was waiting to clock in. Who is managing this place!?! Who lets the necessary pharmacist go to lunch before the other one clocks in?? What pharmacist goes to lunch with nobody to cover her?? I don't know exactly what time she came in that day but I know she was at least 1 hour late. To the manager of that CVS, WAKE UP!!, be a manager, write him/her up then fire him/her and get a real pharmacist that can show up to work on time to serve your customers. FAIL! I'm sure that for that CVS the pharmacy business is a large portion of their business... With service like that they don't deserve to stay in business and they won't be getting any of mine in the future. read more

The CVS on Hidden Valley has a friendly staff, that is always willing to help me. I love the great deals they offer, and the additional savings when I use my 'ExtraCare' Card. The store is almost always clean and stocked, and I know that I'll be able to find whatever I am looking for. CVS is open from 7am - 10pm. I wish they were open 24 hours like most pharmacies in Southern California. With all that being said, the friendly staff makes me feel like I'm at home. Grade: B read more

I have been to the pharmacy 2 times. Both times I was there for at least 15 minutes waiting for a pick up. The employees were nice but I seriously felt like they moved like turtles. We just moved to the area and I used to frequent Walgreens where they hustled like no other, which I now feel like I didn't appreciate enough. I took a quick look at their make up and it is marked up more than Walmart (dread that place) and target but they had all of the drug-store brands, much more than the previously mentioned Walgreens I used to frequent. If you have sick children at home waiting for you, don't tell them you will be right back.. They will ask you why you took forever when you return home. read more

Update: the ladies that work at the pharmacy provide the best customer service. Unfortunately I come to the pharmacy often and every time they all are very welcoming, kind & friendly. They get me checked out quickly. They go out of their way to contact my doctors office when needed to help me get in and out. read more

Very convenient...good selection and prices, but you can't always find someone to help out on the floor. Although, staff very friendly.

Granted, this question was asked to me at the pick up counter in a pharmacy so it was borderline unnecessary however I appreciated the sentiment. Not one to pass up on an opportunity, I insisted on replying with "I am here for a pick up." Small talk is not one of my specialties but sometimes you just nail it. Words were exchanged. The cashier in this store is very slow. This guy also want to sign up everyone that checks out on a discount card which makes it even slower. Doesn't mater if he has 10 people waiting in line he will force you to sign up for a card. Been here twice this month and I had to walk walk out because of this. So irritated, been using them since 2014 and always have a problem with my dads medications. Either not ready, need to update, etc or i get a notice a medicine is ready that we already have. This after i request refill and give two days to fill. Their online system is flaw. It seems that it does not communicate directly with its system. What they told me was to call to confirm once i make refills and changes online. What is the point. Recently my dad has been in need of some medications a week later, he is feeling bad and they just told me they need to call practitioner. Very Frustrating. Never had problem elsewhere. read more

I like this location as it is not usually crowded but they lack severely in stock. Its a smaller CVS, and usually 20% of the stuff you want is not available, out of stock....or they do not carry it as other locations may. I consider this CVS more of a glamorized 7-11. Its got the bare minimum convenience stuff but not the specialty skin care I was looking for that CVS stores in Corona carry. SIgn up for an EXTRA CARE card and save $ plus get coupons. read more

Took two throw away cameras there to be developed. The pictures were taken by my daughter who is handicapped, so I figured there would be quite a few that were really bad and not developed. Well I was right about the really bad pics, but they developed them anyway. We went through the pictures and said we don't want these. We were told we had to pay for all or return all. This is very poor customer service in my book. And it cost me $31 for a few pics. Even if they were all good, that's still quite a bit! I do not recommend having your film developed there. Today was kind of the last straw. Picked up a few items today, waiting in a line of 5 people. The woman forgot to bag a candy bar my mom requested. I didn't realize it until I got home. I found odd since after paying I went to the lotto machine and got a scratcher. Guess she didn't see the urgency to yell: "hey...here's the candy bar you paid for". Probably was hoping it to keep it. So, of course, I had to go back. My mom had surgery and she was feeling horrible and this was to cheer her up. When I walked in the woman handed me the candy bar and was laughing at me while I said: "Yeah, thanks....I had to drive all the way back here." I had no idea that poor customer service was something to laugh about. Past experience, their pharmacy is horrible. I've stood in line and have heard HORROR stories. One time I was waiting for my father's dementia medication to be filled, which they say is 15 min but they really mean an hour, even with you staring at them the entire time. While I was there I heard a woman yelling at them, saying they gave her the wrong drug! They could have killed her! I was shocked and it really made me rethink getting prescriptions filled here. By the way, I love how they ignore people standing in front of them to take calls from the drive thru. It's always lovely to have three people ahead of you and then have to wait for someone who just pulled up to the window. read more

I do like this location. It's usually neat and clean. The pharmacy staff is very friendly and helpful. I recently had a prescription filled in about 5 minutes!! That was fantastic service. I was asked if I wanted to be notified via text, I said okay. That was a nice way to find out that the prescription was ready. I could've waited in my car if I wanted to. I must agree with a couple of other posters about the drive through line. This is my only complaint. Sometimes the wait in the drive-through is quite lengthy, 15 minutes or more even though there's only two people in line! Not good. I don't for the life of me understand why customers who's medication is not ready need to wait in that line so long holding up other customers. If the pharmacist is filling a prescription, shouldn't that person be told to get their butt out of line, get back in line in 10 minutes or whatever time is appropriate to let the next person get assistance? That drive through needs improvement, no doubt. Sometimes I feel like I'm at a fast food drive through and the person in line ahead of me ordered 100 hamburgers and 50 orders of fries the wait is so long.... read more

This is seriously the worst cvs I've ever been to. I've used cvs to refill my prescriptions for many years, but recently moved to this area. Every time I've been here it takes 10 minutes to pick up my prescription. I made the mistake of shopping for a couple cosmetics AFTER standing in the pick up line for 10 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes standing in the regular check out line. What I thought would be a quick run into cvs on my way home from work ended up being a 25 minute ordeal. During my most recent encounter with this location, I called to make sure it would be ready when I got here - I was on hold for 8 minutes. Then I was told I was not in their system... Took five times of repeating my name for her to find me. This time the wait was not a whole 10 minutes but long enough for me to write (AND proofread) this review. Needless to say, I will sadly be requesting a change in where my prescriptions are sent. Target's looking pretty good right about now. read more
