Only wish was that their daily products had a better market value and the kids toys not so expensive. The dollar section does help a bit for quick buys. Really miss having them as my full time pharmacy but I am one of the few.. working on it! Our RX wasn't filled by Walgreens due to a Pharm who decided she "wasn't comfortable" filling what the Dr ordered even tho they had provided the same medication 3 times YTD, approved by Insurance, and strongly encouraged by Physician. (It was ridiculous and Ben recognized that.) He stepped up and filled within same day. His communication was exceptional & his attitude incredibly empathetic & professional; he took a proactive role in getting the Rx transferred. It's an incredible gift to provide for your patients with confidence. I recommend them so highly! We are grateful and blessed to have them in our Community at large.

While in Florida I do not shop at any other grocery markets. Just before the hurricane I purchased 6 individual packages of ground beef, 3 went into the freezer and 3 in fridge. The date to use by was 8/31. I went to the fridge pulled the meat to cook and all 3 pkges were already spoiled and starting to stink. That was barely 3 days in the fridge. Over the last year I have had many pkges of hamburger and beef roast go bad. Along with pork loins and pork chops. The employees at Publix's are wonderful, friendly and very helpful. I'm not happy about having to go every day to get meat because it goes bad so quickly. I'm almost 70, I have a difficult time walking and I do not feel like going out every day. I do look at the 'sell by' dates. So this week $30 of what should have been good hamberger,thrown out.
