When I returned Sophie had it all ready for pick up. I was super impressed by her handwriting and just had to compliment her having the prettiest writing anyone has ever done for me on a cake and that's saying alot since I'm in my 70's and have ordered so many in my life! The service at the store has declined especially in the deli. I can never get any of the products I'm looking for. The deli management is rude and not helpful and treats her employees disrespectful in front of customers. I've asked about products and why it's never there she had no real answers. Also used to enjoy getting my subs because it didn't take forever but now the lines are long because they're Definitely understaffed. And forget about the cold cuts better expect to stay there for an hour. It's slowly becoming just like the mariner store. I switched stores and I won't be back.

It's a real adventure in all sorts of ways, but like driving with your shirt off in summer, it can be liberating. I would steer clear of the dry goods, but have gotten some good candy and beverages. You never know what kind of stuff you will find amongst the other goods. The workers are all very nice and they are helpful to people in the community who are struggling. This store can be a fun little exploration. I try not to eat candy, but who can resist when you can get it four bars for a dollar??? Especially the seafood section! I stopped to get some Mineral water in the glass bottle & they had Swordfish on sale for $2.75 a pound! Really nice wild caught thick swordfish. Moi bought eleven pounds of Swordfish for moi fresh lemon & bay leaf kabobs. They were Magnificent. Arrrr! OuiOui :).... The Italian mineral water in the glass bottles are also fabulous. Will definitely Return when in the area.
