I needed to take a day to process why Monday happened the way it did.On 11/10 I accompanied my friend to an Urgent care. She had been having shortness of breath and a mother of 3 waiting for insurance cards to come in, that is overwhelming enough.After the appointment we went through the drive through at CVS to pick up scripts. Since there was one car behind us we were instructed to come inside. Running low on time to get home in time for the kids to get off the bus; She found a spot and we went inside. Unfortunately once arriving at the register She told a gentlemen tech that she was there to put her insurance card on& my friend was instructed that her insurance card was locked& she needed to call her insurance company. My friend then stepped to the side of the "drop-off" desk& began the process of solving that problem. I was still standing in front left side of the "drop-off" desk and was then approached by a wonderful customer who was able to shed some light& give me some information to help with the situation. For that I am grateful for herWhile this customer& I are speaking a female pharmacy tech Carrie O. Decided she would approach the drop off desk and begin discussing my friends insurance policy with me. She attempted to show me her policy information& was just yapping while the customer& I were talking. My friend stepped towards the desk while on the phone and said "please wait" and then turned around& walked towards the glasses area to continue her phone call with insurance. Miss customer decided to end the conversatio& walked away& I let the pharmacy tech know that my friend literally just told her to wait and i don't know why she continued to proceed to explain and write "VOID" on the copies of the scripts that were waiting for my friend to pick up. I told her to stop& reminded her that my friend just told her to give her a minute& she didn't listen. I told Carrie that she had violated my friends HIPPA policy& then Carrie turned around& started to TRASH TALK ABOUT ME TO ANOTHER TECH!!My friend stepped towards the counter&loudly said to Miss Carrie that her job was to help people not trash talk for no reason.At that point my friend was able to figure out why her insurance was locked&handle it.she didn't not feel comfortable talking to that pharmacy manager since he did nothing to diffuse the the situation on his end& just kinda stood there.We went up to the front of the store& I rang the bell to be helped.Liz the Shift Supervisor came out loudly chewing her gum(she already had an expression on her face like she didn't want to talk w/us). My friend told her that a pharmacy tech was rude& the pharmacist didn't do anything about it, so we needed the store managers number (Jim); Liz the loudly laughed in our face, disregarded our statement, and over explained why we didn't need Jim bc there's a pharmacy manager back there. My friend then explained that we know, we need to speak with someone else since the pharmacist that was back there didn't do anything to help with the disrespectful words his tech said. So Liz rolls her eyes& is just repeating herself about how we don't need Jim's#.So I ask her for corporates. I'm not rude about it either.I'm standing there eating chips I bought while all this was going on. Liz once again tries to shrug off and downplay the comment.This Shift Leader Liz SCREAMS in my friends face to once again reiterate that we don't need Jim's number& that we can go on CVS website for corporates number.my friend screams right back at her "how do you like it", collects herself& walks out the store.Liz follows her out the door to try& take a picture of her license plate.Liz is on a mission now calling the police, puts them on hold gets another worker Kiara, and has Kiara WHO WASNT EVEN THERE saying that there's 2 females that are being irate and lying saying how my friend had no license plate on her car when she has out of state plates. Now I'm banned from a CVS I had been going too for over 16 years all bc shift supervisors don't seem to like other people asking to speak to someone else higher up than them. We went to the police station& made a statement.It is discriminatory& unfair to treat customers like that.Violating customers rights and then allowing this kind of behavior from its employees whilst punishing the customers?How can you ban someone because they're asking you for help and you're refusing to help them because of your own PRIDE. I was satisfied with this CVS but I see that as racism is beginning to be more accepted in most states with everything going on in our government that it's becoming more socially acceptable.My friend was having shortness of breath&a respiratory infection for almost a month before her insurance even kicked on. I haven't had much luck using the store instant photo machine or trying to use my IPad to download photos using my CVS app. Today I went in again and spoke with the managent Jim Ford who patiently walked me through the process, printed my photos and helped me with checkout. I usually don't step foot in the CVS because I know better, however, I was in desperate need of some allergy medication so I went in looking for Azelastine. I searched for quite some time on the shelf because I did not want to have to deal with the pharmacy, but couldn't find the product. Finally went up to the pharmacy and was ignored for a bit and then finally the pharmacist asked if I needed help. I said I was just looking for azelastine and I didn't see it on the shelf. I wasn't sure if it was behind the counter. He waved in some general direction by the cold and flu stuff and said if we have anything it's over there. Turned his back and ignored the fact that I couldn't find it after searching further. I can almost guarantee if you deal with this pharmacy you will be disappointed. read more

Unprofessional, rude staff at the pharmacy. My mother called with a question about a new medication. The pharmacist she spoke with got annoyed with her and hung up on her. My mother called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. The same pharmacist said, "This is a supervisor. You can do anything you want" and hung up on her again. I've never heard a good thing about CVS and now I know why. I signed up on line for a Covid booster and a flu shot. Accepted my 3:00 appointment then 30 minutes later canceled me for unforeseen reasons. I looked again for another CVS and saw the one on rt.70 that just canceled me so I signed up again for the 4:00 offered. Accepted my 4:00 and when I went in at 4:00, they couldn't find my name while 2 other 4:00 people came in to get their Covid boosters and they checked them in no problem. They told me to check the CVS on Stokes rd to see if they let walk ins come in. Forget it.........Walgreens for me! read more

One star is to generous. Have giving them chance after chance. Today was the final straw. Waited in drive through for maybe 8 minutes before being greeted. Received one prescription. Waiting on another while the young girl just ignored me for another 5 minutes. Pressed help button twice. Explained I was waiting for the other prescription which I was told would be ready again for the 3rd time. Manager comes at me with an attitude saying, what you want me ta do. Says to me well now you get no help. I then had choice words. This complaint won't change anything but I needed to vent. read more

The store itself is clean, well stocked, offers great coupons. The pharmacy, however, seems to have constant problems filling prescriptions on time. I've gotten texts saying my prescription is ready for pick up, only to arrive and be told there was a problem and they do not have it filled yet--this has happened numerous times. Most of pharmacy staff is not pleasant to deal with, or courteous. A little customer service goes a long way. read more

Horrible customer service. Doctor called in a script earlier in the week and spoke with the pharmacist but yet somehow didn't have records of it. I went today to fill a prescription on a not-so-busy Friday. After standing at the drop off pharmacy window for 5 minutes completely ignored by 3 pharmacists walking around (not even acknowledging my existence), I loudly started tapping my fingers on counter. Without looking up, the guy filling prescriptions said 'be right with you'. 2 minutes pass by. Nothing. I look up hoping to make eye contact with ANYONE to give them a chance. Wow. Nothing. Frustrated beyond all belief I throw my hands up in the air and shout "Thanks for acknowledging my existence! I'll leave!" No attempt to stop me or apologize. Terrible service. I got here on a normal basics. Today wasnt the same a female refused to wait on me because the color of my skin. She rather help others her skin tone then me. This was @ the pharmacy. The other guy working @ the pharmacy was rude and gave me the "stare" really it takes 15 mins when no one is in line to get a script. I have no names of any of the employees because she denied to give me her name, but the elder gentlemen is the only reason I'm not going to corporate or going through the hurdles to get her fired. Now to be fair they were not opening until 2pm i arrived at 1:50. I had a prescription sent to another cvs location and wanted to know about how long it would take to fill if it would be worth my time waiting for them to open. My elderly stepfather simply asked if they were open, and in a loud and rude tone the lady says "2pm!", "well are you able to answer a small question" my stepfather kindly asks, the lady then says "no not really" under her breath. That's when I said that the attitude is not necessary and I will be complaining about this, I started to leave and turned around to get the name of this lady, that's when she denied to give me her name, and the elder gentlemen took all of 2 seconds to answer my question. read more

I experienced the same "horrendous" customer service at this CVS Pharmacy, as Katrina M., in 2015, who stood on line and was completely ignored. What is wrong with the store manager at this pharmacy? No one who is managing a store, any store, should ever be this unaware of the attitudes of their employees. And that includes the pharmacist!!! For years, I went to the CVS Pharmacy in Woolwich Township, NJ. The customer service and overall attitudes of the employees there was exemplary. Obviously, that store manager knows how to do his job and knows what customer service is. We no longer live there and now utilize retail establishments in the Medford area. Quite a shock at this CVS at 137 Route 70, Medford property! There is a total lack of customer service in the pharmacy, as well as behaving as if they are doing the customer a favor just to acknowledge them, no less wait on them. PS - In case anyone is wondering...no... I don't use this pharmacy any longer and would never recommend them to anyone. Quite frankly, I've been so disgusted by this pharmacy staff, I no longer shop at all in this store. read more

I have been patronizing this location for 3 years without any real issues. This evening, I went to pick up my prescription and shop. The man at the front counter was so rude and condescending but I decided to let it slide and remain pleasant. Then when my sister came to the counter, his level of disrespect with her was out of control. She had a coupon on her phone. He looks at it, taps on it and starts hitting buttons at which point she asked what he was doing. Instead of answering her, he continued to swipe around on her phone. She had to physically take it out his hand and it was on the Google homepage. He said people present fake coupons so he was verifying it. A. You could have said that when she questioned you initially B. Scan the coupon and see if it declines. Accusing people of faking a coupon for no reason at all is not cool. His response " if you would just print it out before you get here you could save us both the trouble". So let me get this straight...a coupon on the phone in the CVS app is fake but a piece of paper I printed at home would be more believable???...I asked for the manager, he said it was him. I challenged this because I know he's not the manager. Then I ask for his name (because of course he's not wearing a name tag) and he says it's David. I check my receipt, his name is JAMES!!!! I immediately walked back to the pharmacy and confirmed he lied about his name and they went to get the actual manager on duty for me. The nerve of this guy to lie right to my face multiple times as if I'm not intelligent enough to figure it out. Long story short, James has no place in customer service and I suggest CVS handles this sooner rather than later. read more

I've read everyone's reviews about this CVS and yes granted at times we are extremely busy helping customers with insurance issues, etc; FYI drive thru is not SPEEDY service, it's for your CONVENIENCE as the sign states inside the store. I take my time with each customer and give each customer my undivided attention. I could always rush and miscount your Rx, to give you the speedy service that you want or I can take my time and double count your meds. Which would you prefer? I bought a jar of Noxema from this location. After I got it home and opened it, I saw that it had been opened before, the jar was almost 25% empty and what was left was mushy, like someone added water to make the jar appear fuller or heavier. Anyone who has ever bought a jar of this knows it comes in an almost full jar and is the consistency of the product in the jar is solid, like an ice cream cone before it starts to melt, not mushy and watery like a white version of diarrhea. Either someone took it in the bathroom and used it and then put it back on the shelf or someone bought it, used it, then returned what was left in the jar it to the store for a refund, and the store then put that same jar back on the shelf without checking it. Either way, it shows the store doesn't maintain good controls over what they sell. If someone could steal 25% of the product without the store being aware of it prior to selling it to me or anyone else, that same person could have just as easily added something harmful to a product and still have it wind up back on the shelf awaiting resale to an innocent person. I won't ever go back here. Great location but clearly this place lacks controls that could have prevented this type of thing from happening in the first place. read more
