I have had multiple problems with Cropwell Pharmacy. They keep telling me the doctor never called to refill a scrip, when I know from the 26 years I've been dealing with my doctors, that's incorrect. The problem has been ongoing. Today was the final straw... I called the pharmacy twice in the last few days to find out if my warfarin refill was there. The doctor had given me only 40, since I needed my INR levels checked first. That was done Tuesday. When I specifically asked if the ENTIRE script was there, I was told yes. Fast forward to today when I went in and discovered it was NOT the entire script, it was only forty. When I started questioning them about the wrong information I was given, I was told I was abusing the employees. I did not curse or swear, I questioned why they got it wrong again. After no cursing on my part, the owner called me "an asshole" and told me to take my business elsewhere, which I have already done. May I suggest if you're using this pharmacy, do what the owner says...take your business elsewhere!!

Add to that superb professionalism coupled with a small town customer service oriented feel. They came through for me when my mail order pharmacy could not get their hands on a prescription that I take daily for a chronic condition. They helped me through a lengthy dog bite recovery period with advice, recommendations and support. Esp. when I had an adverse reaction to a prescription from the urgent care center. And now they are helping me prepare for a trip to Tanzania. In addition to supplying all of the OTC and prescriptions for the trip, they packaged all of my medications and supplements in individual (labeled) pouches. This way I can take just what I need for each side trip instead of carrying my entire supply with me. And I have to mention the gift store that is part of the pharmacy. Whoever does the buying does a great job, every time I go in I find something either for myself for the family!

The employees don't wear masks and they don't require customers to wear them either. That's very ignorant and selfish of them. Stokes called me and stated they would prepare the prescription and paid up front over $260. After almost 2 weeks of not receiving any information or the prescription, I call Stokes for them to tell me that they ran out of the ingredients to create his medication, and had to wait for a shipment. At no time did anyone from Stokes contact me or my wife to give us this information. Nor despite claims when I called them, did they email me any information. So calling this morning they say they are in the process of making it and it would go out by Wed.. When I asked about expedited delivery since their "Running out" has already delayed my cats medicine two weeks, they declined saying "We don't do free upgrades". When I said this is not a free upgrade, this is customer satisfaction for your lack of communication and delay in the medication. I was then hung up on by Stokes. Unfortunately, many of us don't know anything different than the subpar (to be diplomatic) experience that the major chain pharmacies afford their captive customers. However there is an alternative out there: you just might have to do a little paperwork on your first visit; and you may not be "covered" if your employer-sponsored drug plan is through the CVS-owned Caremark monopoly. Boyd's is a breath of fresh air! Let's see: -The phones are answered promptly and politely by knowledgeable and friendly staff. -The wait times to pick up scripts are never very long (and often non-existent). -If your medicine is out of stock, they'll actually order it for you, and it'll arrive in stock in a day or two. Unlike the big chains, this isn't made out to be some sort of Herculean inconvenience by the staff. You don't have to get district managers involved to simply get the medicine that your healthcare provider thinks is best for you. -transferring scripts here wasn't too difficult, I remember filling out a little paperwork but nothing crazy. -They have a mobile app if you prefer to order refills electronically rather than talk to a human. -Before we had COVID vaccines, Boyd's also had quick call-ahead curbside service. I'd be willing to bet they'd still do it if asked. I believe they deliver as well. -While they aren't in the GoodRx discount program, they will do their best to match their prices. An added bonus for many is that the store doubles as a purveyor of beer, wine and spirits. You will need to go to a separate register for these, but the selection is decent. Many NJ wines and a better craft beer selection than the other package stores I've been to in the immediate bordentown city/fieldsboro area. Their "good neighbor" branded over the counter products are just fine and not everything is horribly priced. Certainly no worse than CVS. If none of the above convinces you to check out Boyd's, here's one more: no 3-foot long receipts with coupons for random crap you aren't buying anyway. Boyd's is my pharmacy for as long as I'm in this region. Even if you must drive a while to get here, you'll still be back home before you'd even be out of the queue at CVS, with your soul uncrushed and faith in humanity intact!

I called in advance to ensure they carried the products I was looking for (a Rollator & a Shower Seat). The pharmacist, Harry, was extremely helpful. Texting me photos with prices, so I wouldn't have to make the trip unnecessarily. They offered an excellent Rollator, at a very reasonable price (relative to other options I had looked into). Samatha, Harry's assistant, was beyond helpful. She could see I was struggling to walk and assisted me to the car with my new Rollator & Shower Seat. She put everything in the car and was just so sweet - talking to me about the importance of good medical services. I was concerned that the shower seat might be a little large, but Samatha took it out of the box so I could see that it would fit perfectly, and it did. The seat is small but sturdy and is working out beautifully.
