I stopped in because I was in the area and only needed a few items. The store was clean, and I was able to find everything I needed. Unfortunately, what I witnessed completely overshadowed that positive experience. An older male employee was yelling and using profanity toward a teenage employee with curly hair. It was heartbreaking to watch. The young employee appeared to be doing his best, and no one--especially someone who may be working their first job--deserves to be belittled or cursed at in front of customers. I sincerely hope HR or upper management reviews who they have in leadership at this location. Every employee deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Watching an adult speak to a young worker that way was shocking and completely unacceptable. This is someone's child, and no one should have to endure that kind of treatment at work. read more

Friendly store. I don't use the pharmacy so can't comment on that part. But I like rest of the store. I like the coupons that CVS sends me. I like that it has a self-checkout. read more

Store is clean and well stocked and Stores front end employees (Brenda) are all helpful and friendly. Problem is, this is a PHARMACY!!!! There was one woman, with long straight hair and she was very kind and helpful, but the rest are JUST PLAIN NASTY! (NANCY) With so many people looking for work, surely you can find people who are willing to work and be pleasant too. This pharmacy is the worst. Came to pick up a medication for a very uncomfortable yeast infection and the gentleman in the drive through gave me a bunch of excuses to come back in a couple of hrs. Dude, checking the voicemail doesn't take hours. Will never come back to this place... I'd rather go across the street to Walgreens. Thank you very much for caring. read more

Pharmacy staff doesn't seem to care or put much effort into their jobs. I had prescriptions transfered from another cvs because my mother was unable to travel to the one she goes to in morganville. They neglected to tell me or my mom that 1 of the medications was out of stock. Instead of offering to call another cvs to help solve the problen, the Technician told me to do that if I wanted or try back on in 2 days. Always unhelpful here always some issue they can't figure out. I was having problems with my insurance because their system was slow and the pharmacist kept trying to get me to pay out of pocket I guess so she wouldn't have to put in my other insurance card info. Woman at the counter didn't greet me until after ten minutes of standing there then she says okay one second then goes on the computer for another 10-15 minutes then walks off and starts taking people in the drive thru that arrives after she already said she would help me. She never came back so after 20 minutes of waiting I finally said something and got helped by someone else. Also I heard them tell 4 different customers their medicine wasn't in stock and one of them was for diabetes. I have respect for customer service workers because I am one but this place is just ridiculous and there's always some type of problem on their end. Mind you this was after I went yesterday and spent an hour and a half there crying because their computer wouldn't accept my insurance because the lady said it was "glitching out". read more

Just another of the drug store/little of everything store found almost everywhere you turn. Personal contact with the pharmacy has always been professional. They have an ATM at the front door. I wonder when CVS will add gas pumps to the line-up of products. Prices are competitive with other stores of this type. Some things at full list price, some things discounted. read more

With Walgreens across the way that's my choice now. CVS is dated and dirty. With very few people willing to help you out. This place has gotten worse each year that it's been there. Save your time and breath go to Walgreens,where they're helpful and courteous. Plus the Walgreen store is clean and immaculate. Personally I rather go to a local small pharmacist that will treat you with the care that people showed you years ago ,which is sorely lacking in these big corporate pharmacies. read more

I have been going to the CVS in Matawan on Morristown rd. for about 5 years. I pick up my mothers prescription there. The people that work in the pharmacy are NEVER nice. When I have to go in there I always immediately have an attitude because I know the person helping me is going to be nasty. Still I smile and say hi and try to be pleasant. I was picking up my mothers medicine yesterday and there was an Asian man picking up his meds. The woman waiting on him had a hard time understanding him and was so nasty to him. She then gave him his meds and he asked if the needles were in there. She said with an attitude, do you need the needles. He said yes, very much. She then grabbed the bag back from him and slammed it on the counter behind her and told him to go sit down and wait. This is what it is like all the time in there. I dont know if this is just a bad CVS to work at. Maybe the manager is hard to work for. There seems to be a lot of turn over in the pharmacy department. I dont see the same person more then maybe 3 times. But the new person always has the same attitude that the last one had. The only reason I go back is because it's really convenient to order prescriptions and keep track of them through their app. Time to do some research with different pharmacies. read more

Average CVS store. It's kept orderly and neat. Everything seems to be in stock. I continuously go to CVS because they offer great coupons and rewards. The pharmacy staff is great they are personable and knowledgable. There has never been a long wait for when I need to fill or pick up a prescription. read more
