I am the sister and caretaker of my sister Deb and have been useing Minnich's Pharmacy for many…read moreyears for Debi's meds because they deliver. We are both elderly. Debi has the onsset of Dementia and I have breathing issues so even though you are not a prefered pharmacy with our insurance the convience is worth the cost. We recently moved from one apt to another in the same develpement and have had her prescriptions delivered for 5 1/2 years at the same address until our move on 7/2. I have made every attempt to help the drivers know it is a different apt building by contacting the store 3 times with suggestions. Like "can you please when Debi gets the next few refills can you please tell the driver that it is a different building and apt in person !!!!" They will not know~ the addresses are almost identical. Well today, as usually it didn't go as planned. I was told the way they notify the drivers of any changes is on the green slip of paper stapled to the bag!!!! the print is 5xs smaller than the print of The customers name!!!! I am sure after going to the same apt for 5 years when you see the customers name YOU HAVE NO REASON TO KNOW THEY MOVED! When I called the store again to ask if they could do something different!!!! I was told NO. Not only that but Holly who works there muted my call and when I called back the other person who answered the phone said Holly went to lunch and said the call dropped. This is my second issue with miss Holly!!!!!! I worked in customer service for 55 years from selling real estate to managing a convience store........... Can't you go an extra inch and make this experience one that I would want to continue using your service!!!!! Sincerely, Toni Debi's sister, caretaker, roomate .

The Medicine Shoppe on South Queen Street has been my pharmacy for over three years since I moved…read moreto York. They are a preferred provider with my insurance plan, and have saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars per year over my previous provider (also preferred). I had no idea pharmacy providers prices for a Medicare plan could vary that much! My previous pharmacy offered exceptional, personalized service, and I was afraid I would lose that with a new one. Nope! Medicine Shoppe has a great team that provides a great experience each time! Shout out to Meaghan and Linford with whom I have most to interactions...they're both top notch in friendly service, accuracy and having orders ready on time. The Medicine Shoppe also has delivery available daily for a nominal fee. Another service worth mentioning...walk-in vaccinations during regular business hours. Little to no wait. Finally, while I have had an very occasional less than stellar interaction with one or two team members, I whole-heartedly recommend the Medicine Shoppe on South Queen for all your prescription and vaccination needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thanks!!

Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I had my prescription sent to Medicine Shoppe, only to…read morebe told my insurance denied coverage and the cost would be nearly $1,000. However, my insurance confirmed it should be covered 100%. When I called back for clarification, I was repeatedly placed on hold before Ben essentially told me that essentially he didn't want to order or fill the prescription. Which is fine, but why not disclose that strait up rather than blame my insurance. I then contacted another pharmacy that quoted just $450 for the exact same medications without insurance. Rather than being upfront about their unwillingness to fill my prescription, Medicine Shoppe blamed my insurance and quoted an outrageous price. The lack of honesty, transparency, and professionalism is unacceptable.

Twice now when I went to pick up my prescriptions only one of the three prescriptions I had called…read morein several days earlier were not ready. I had called to have them refilled in plenty of time. I was told their supplies did not come in yet, maybe later today or tomorrow. So I had to make a second trip back the next day. This time they only had one more filled. Their shipment for the third script had not come in yet. By now I was angry. I had already made a second trip in and now I was being told to come back tomorrow. What is wrong with you that I can only pick up one script at a time? I cannot keep coming back in everyday and I need that prescription now, like today. The woman said " Let me see if we have any extras on hand" When she came back she said they would be able to fill it today. She also told me that had I said all that the first day I was in I could have gotten them all on the first day. Today, several weeks later now, I was in again to pick up a prescription that my doctor had called in several days earlier. This time I was told that they had not started filling it yet. I told them I needed it today, I was totally out. Well we have it but we have not started refilling it yet. I asked when it would be ready. "Well maybe in 15 or 20 minutes we can have it ready". Oh wait it looks like there is a problem with the insurance and you will have to speak with the pharmacist. After a a few minutes the pharmacist came over with the prescription and told the cashier how to ring it up asking him, did he want him to do it, no I think I will be able to do it. He then started doing a lot of typing on the computer and when the phone rang he picked that up and started taking all the information down on the caller, while I sat there. Finally another employee came and finished typing for him and rang up the sale. What is wrong with this pharmacy? It is never ready, you need to come back, or there is a problem with the insurance, or we have not started filling that yet? Every time it is a different excuse. They did not use to be like this. Infact I was always very happy with them. That is no longer the case.
