She was incredibly thorough and discussed all options with me, used a model to show me what I couldn't understand, and made me feel heard, seen, and valued. She answered every question I had and I am finally feeling like I am getting the answers that I need for my health. I am so thankful for her and her office staff! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and am looking forward to going back for continued care.

They even checked and did find my phone number in their call logs, proving that I had set up the appointment. To add insult to injury, they charged me for the co-pay, claiming "the insurance company won't let us waive this." At another appointment, I had to leave after waiting in vain for 50 minutes. I have chronic fatigue, and was too weak to continue waiting. When I politely asked the reason for the delay, the staff had an attitude about it. I was also charged a co-pay for that day even though I was not seen. Some months later,, Dr. Pezzella scheduled a follow up appointment--to tell me that there was nothing further they could do for me. They didn't help me, and again charged me a co-pay for that appointment --to tell me they couldn't help me! The receptionist told me that Dr. Pezzella asks her to book four 15- minute appointments per hour--the appointments always go longer, and she is always running late. Their concern is not Patient Care, it's money, and they pack as many appointments daily as possible. You will NEVER be seen on time, and will OFTEN wait as long as 30 minutes or more to be seen. If you question this, you will be told "we are a specialty practice, and this is normal for a specialty practice." Except it isn't--I see 3 other medical specialists, and never wait more than 10 to 15 minutes to be seen.

Came from across the street from doctor's office to have blood drawn. Walked in and was told very rudely they no longer take walk ins we had had to have an appointment and she would not make one for us. Loaded a handicap elderly lady back into car which they have to walk down a hill on either side of door for a ways to a handicap spot to get off the sidewalk. Called to make the appointment hand to leave message when they called back they had an appointment 15 minutes from the first time we walked in. And now have been here watching for over 30 minutes with no one else in waiting room. The rude lady was also helping a lady that didn't speak good English and she was so mean to her and didn't help her at all to understand what she needed to do. Also gave her wrong information about MyChart that I know for a fact was wrong. Can they be anymore disrespectful to an elderly handicapped or foreigner.

Their demeanor was not only rude but dismissive, especially toward patients with a history of mental health struggles or past medical issues such as substance use. Healthcare providers are supposed to offer compassion and care without judgment, yet here I felt the opposite--treated as "less than" simply because of my medical history. Every patient deserves dignity, respect, and proper medical attention, regardless of their past. To be spoken to in a condescending tone and made to feel like a burden instead of a human being seeking help is not just unprofessional, it is dangerous. If you or a loved one need urgent care, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. No one should have to leave a medical facility feeling worse than when they walked in--emotionally or physically. They worked so hard to get to the route of my problem with extensive testing and genuine care about getting me back on my feet. Very informative of everything going on as well. At first he tries to tell me that it probably wasnt my receipt that printed out, I say it is because my name is one it. He kinda argues with me about the receipt not still not being mine and then he finally says "Now, are you really gonna haggle over six cents?!?!" My thought: Did he just question me about MY money?? Example: 500 per day customers x .06= $30, $30x 7days a wk= $210 $210 x52 wks per yr= $10,920 My bank rep told me it only takes 1 cent to put you into a $30 overdraft charge. The fact is, i can loose six cents only a daily basis but for the guy to shun me off like it was no big deal to take money out of my account was not going to fly. Especially when I wasnt rude or ugly in any way and just looking for a reason at the time .. Heck, ANY REASON other than, GET OVER IT! Now I wanna know why they are able to take money out of account without telling me. What if I never got my receipt. How many others did they do this too already? This is sad!
