Slowest drive thru ever on Augusta Hwy. 20 minutes for 4 cars is ridiculous! How can delivering a prescription be this slow.

The minute clinic was great! Went for a tetanus shot and "pattie" was the sweetest and helped us out!

This is about the Walgreens pharmacy at 6118 St. Andrews Road…read more The pharmacy closed without notice or explanation on Sept 26 -- and left me without needed medications. Made me miss the first three doses of antibiotics my doctor ordered, and I had no pain meds to get me through the night. BACKGROUND DETAILS: I had oral surgery that day in the late morning and my dentist said she would call in three prescriptions (antibiotic, special mouthwash to prevent infection, and medication for pain). I usually get an automated text from Walgreens alerting me that my prescription is ready for pickup. No texts. I called around 4 pm and got a recorded message that the pharmacy was closed. (Their posted hours are 9 am to 6 pm.) I called back and asked for the store manager. Got a woman (not the regular manager) who told me that the pharmacy would be open the next day at 9. No "How can I help?" No "Sorry for the inconvenience." I wasn't able to find out whether they had even received the prescription order, and it was too late to contact my dentist to ask her to send it to a different pharmacy. I did not receive a text message that next morning, so I called at about 11 am. I gave up after waiting on hold for 10 minutes and went to the store. The "fill-in" pharmacist (nice lady) found the prescription but had not begun to fill it. She said she didn't know why the pharmacy had been closed. She said my prescriptions would be ready in 15 minutes. I decided to run errands. Received a text message at 1 pm saying they were ready for pick-up. This is the second time in six months that there has been a significant problem with getting an urgently needed prescription filled. I tried to fill out their customer satisfaction survey online but got repeated warnings that the connection wasn't private. Tried calling the phone number provided for the survey and got cut off halfway through my complaint. Everything about this experience was negative. I will be switching to CVS for my prescription needs.

I've already got verification from CVS that I can go there and get my vaccination without a prescription. Also, this Walgreens doesn't always have in stock what is advertised as on sale in their weekly sales advertising. Beware.

Walgreens is close to where I live so it is super easy to run in when I need something last minute…read more The store is clean and put together. There is always someone at the front register so someone is always there if I need something like a price check. I do wish this location was open 24/7 but they are open until 10.

Waited in drive thru for 35 mins to be told the medications that was supposed to be ready at 11am…read morethe previous day was still not ready and they could be ready in 30 mins or less. It is raining outside, I am otw to a meeting and needed these medications. Appears they could fill it right then since they were able to get it to me so quickly. I looked at the drive thru and there were 6 cars back after me. I explained I had already be in the drive tru for 35 mins and there were 6 cars which means another wait in a line and I had an appointment. At this point I am far from upset and raised my voice. I was told to come inside, move my car, or the cops would be called. The pharmacist then came to the drive tru and took my payment and ID and stated she will get my meds ready and bring them out to my car in the front of the store. - within 15mins my meds were deliver to my car. 1. Medications were not ready 30 hours after told they would be ready. 2. Why was it not stated in the beginning they will bring my medications to the front as soon as they are ready? Situation was escalated that could have been avoided. I moved from CVS years ago because of issues with meds not being ready. I have a few issues but to be expected but never like today.

I asked a friend to come with me for some support. I was able to make the appointment online, which was great. I was able to go in and go to the pharmacy and sign in. They only had us wait for a few minutes before it was my turn. I went back with my friend and the nurse. She asked a few questions and which arm I wanted to use. I got really scared and nervous. I do not think she was really prepared for the tears. After it was done, she left us for a few seconds and then came back in only to find that we were still in there. She was not happy and was trying to move us out. I'm not sorry that I have a challenge with needles and needed some extra time to gather myself back together. I think that there are questions, so I have a place to mention any disabilities that might make the appointment longer than others. We got all of our stuff and left the room. I was not happy that I was rushed and that she was not very understanding of the situation. Nurses are supposed to have training with this, and I think she might have missed that day. I am grateful that my friend came with me.

In fact, the lady at the pharmacy just fixed a price on my prescription to get it down from $85 to $25! Her name is Kirstin. The staff here are always so helpful and polite. I have been living in Lexington, down the street from Pitt Stop 37 for over 7 years now. I've been…read morea frequent customer of the store and had never run into any issue with any employee until today. Last night my husband went to this particular Pitt Stop and purchased a Tobasco Flavored Giant Slim Jim for me. I began eating it at work this morning, I thought that it had a weird taste but I assumed that it was the Tabasco flavor. My stomach started to feel queezy and I ran to the bathroom where I threw up. My supervisor sent me home for the day. So, I look at the Slim Jim wrapper and its dated: Best by Dec 16, 2016. Of course I rush to the store to notify them of my sickness and show them the date on the wrapper. The young employee was nice. He listened to my complaint and asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager. Yes. Of course I do. He goes not even 7 feet from me where the manager was sitting at one of the booths playing on his cell phone. He explained to the manager what was going on, although he didn't have to, I'm sure he hears everything that I said. The employee then comes back and said that the manager told him to give me another beef jerky and to make sure that he checks the date. So, at the time I'm amazed. I said, pointing at the man wearing the Pitt stop name tag and Pitt stop shirt that's sitting not even 7 feet from me, "Is that your manager??" The young man said, "Yes". I say, still pointing directly at him while he looks me in the face, "So your manager is going to sit there as if I don't exist, refuse to speak to me even after u told him the situation with this expired beef jerky?" The manager didn't flinch. He kept staring at me and did not flinch. I asked the young employee for the managers name.. his name is MUKESH PATEL. I am waiting on a call back from corporate. Worst experience ever!!!!!!!
