Patients should be clearly informed of any additional charges before services are performed. When I raised the issue, staff did not provide a clear explanation or attempt to address the concern. This was not transparent and did not meet basic expectations for patient communication. I would not recommend this office based on this experience.

I was really in some distress concerning the matter, going back & forth between the eye dr and Walmart. Meanwhile getting headaches from not being able to see clearly. I use Walmart because they are abit cheaper than other clinics. Eyecare is often ridiculously overpriced, I digress... I would use them again for glasses, they don't take my eye insurance for the exam.

When I went in, I knew that my vision was bad and that I had an astigmatism. The exam went okay and Dr. Taylor told me he that he was going to have to order me a special lens for my left eye. He never mentioned that the special lens was going to be a toric lens. I have tried a toric lens three times and I do not like them. When I found out, I asked to be switched to a regular lens. Sansbury refused to write a new prescription without another exam. It was less than a week since I had my eyes examined. I was sent out with a lens I cannot wear and my eyesight in that eye is -11.50. In my opinion, they did not care that I cannot see without a lens in that eye. That was the worst customer service I have ever had at a medical facility. I will not return and I advise anyone considering Sansbury to be very wary.

My insurance is aware and advised me to not use them. They sent a claim 3 times the wrong way, nothing else needs to be said. I will no longer be using their services. Don't be fooled by previous ratings. I took my daughter here some months ago. The doctor was nice…read morebut the whole experience went downhill after the screening. The woman who was helping my daughter find glasses she liked had an attitude and outright insulted me twice! I resolved to never go back. Please note that I didn't make a bad review at that time. I decided to let it go and move on. Fast forward a few months, my daughter's glasses broke and I decide to order her a pair online. I call to get her prescription. They gave me all the numbers except the pupillary distance (which you must have to order glasses). I was told I would need to bring her in to get it remeasured and I would need to pay $10. So then I asked for her pupillary distance from the glasses we bought from them. They REFUSED to give it to me and said it was against office policy to give it out. My husband then got on the phone and informed them that this was part of her medical record which we have a right to under HIPPA laws. We are now awaiting a call from the office manager within a few days because he is out of town. Don't use this office. They are literally in violation of the law and they are just plain rude.
