It's a typical idea to bring roses to show them they are loved . This store had all that we needed to make that individual feel special. Plus chocolate candies too . They sell Godiva here. Wow! Now when we pay it's a machine and easy process . We were in and out . We had no problems with check out. But we did not encounter any other humans that were not employees. They make it nice and simple. Or is it. Without the human it's cold and sterile. For it's like the world of hope and believing in unicorns and other creatures. But the experience was grand. Their pharmacy lacks soft skills and basic accountability - I said what I said. We've had multiple preventable issues. After changing insurance, we went twice in person to make sure the update was reflected. When we picked up our medication, they still billed the old insurance. We had to waste our time coming back to fix it, wait for a new prescription, and get it re-billed. Another recurring problem is liquid antibiotics. CVS claims the bottle contains the exact amount needed, but we consistently run short, even when we are extremely careful with dosing. Liquid medications stick to the bottle, dry at the cap, and syringes retain small amounts. Those real-world factors make "exact dosing" unrealistic and honestly shows how stingey these pharmacies are to maximize profits. Instead of acknowledging these practical issues, the pharmacy staff often respond defensively when customers are understandably frustrated. I recognize pharmacy staff are likely overworked and operating under a rigid corporate system, but patients are the ones who pay the price when compassion and accountability disappear from healthcare. I said what I said (again). People come to pharmacies because they need help, often urgently. Compassion and patient advocacy should come with the profession, if not, don't work for a pharmacy or don't step into the field. I said what I said 3x and hear that again! read more

Huge thanks to Sylvia at the CVS Photo Center! We placed a large poster order online and received an email saying we'd get a confirmation once it started printing. After some time passed with no update, we decided to call -- and we're so glad we did! Sylvia at the Photo Center answered right away, took our info, and said she'd check with the team and call us back. Keep in mind, this was around 10 p.m., so we told her we'd be fine picking it up the next morning. Not long after, Sylvia called back to confirm that our posters were being printed and would be ready when we came in. She was so kind, attentive, and professional. Because she was so reassuring, we decided to swing by that same night -- and sure enough, our posters were ready and looked amazing! The quality was top-notch, and now they're proudly hanging in our home's banquet area. Thank you, Sylvia and CVS, for going above and beyond! They sent a message saying attached med was ready. When my family went there and while they were waiting for the medicine CVS text me another text that stated it will be ready another time same day? Is that right? The pharmacist at that time in defiance argued with showing the revised notification that medicine would be ready 12 noon. Totally not acknowledging the first text. Later when we went back later the pharmacist goes "Oh well maybe it was not ready.." So if it's not ready then why are you texting to come get it? Think people working there need an audit as several departments in this country for corruption, compliance and customer care. They are totally not interested in acknowledging it was their negligence and then customer service... Yelp Here is the thing. Yelp gets a flag notification from the business talked about and they immediately flag your review. Think if that's how it is then Yelp should end their business as they discourage honest reviews that help warn people. They need to allow people to edit their reviews as and when they want. That is freedom of speech that is being censored. Do not reprimand honest reviewers to please corrupt businesses. Not all reviews will be pleasing but they are honest and with evidence. So stop emailing me from your head quarters. No one wants to complaint about a business for fun it's usually when people are wronged. No one wants to accept their mistakes and therefore ruin the name of their business. We have too much corruption at every level in our country. Wanted some consultation from the Pharmacy on which treatment was best for misquote bits. The guy working the front counter provided amazing help, but recommended consulting with a pharmacist. Just as long to wait in line inside. 45 min of watching some incompetent or overworked, burnt out staff manage two registers at once. Pay extra for rx delivery but you'll never get to use it because their system is always malfunctioning. PLEASE AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS! I typically get my prescriptions filled at this pharmacy, but I will no longer get my prescriptions filled here due to the service. The staff is untrained and very rude. This evening I called to re-fill my prescription and once I got ahold of the pharmacy to speak with someone, she immediately stated "there's 2 calls ahead of you, I'm placing you on hold" then places me on hold. There was no greeting, there was no "thank you for calling CVS pharmacy, may I place you on a brief hold", there was nothing. So I sat on hold for 5 mins and once she came back on I asked if she could transfer my prescription to another pharmacy in town. She stated "I can't do that, you have to call the receiving pharmacy to have them do it." I know this is a lie because my husband used to work at Walgreens as a pharmacy tech. But I play along and call the receiving pharmacy. That pharmacy was amazing, picked up right away, had a cheerful greeting and was able to transfer my prescription. Before I got off of the line with him, I asked if the other pharmacy was able to transfer or was it true that I had to call the receiving pharmacy. He stated that they could've transferred it for me. I thanked him and we hung up. I then call this pharmacy, S Durango, back so that I can speak to the pharmacist directly. Again, I'm placed on hold rudely, without a greeting. The pharm tech then comes back to the call and I ask to speak to the pharmacist. She then hangs up on me. So I call again, she immediately answers and I ask if she can allow me to speak to the pharmacist without hanging up on me and she states "I didn't hang up and you, gosh" (straight attitude) and transfers me to someone. I doubt it was the pharmacist that she transferred me to though, I'm sure it was one of her co-workers due to how they spoke. It wasn't professional. So I urge you to go to any other pharmacy in Vegas. This one is just not professional or customer service oriented. I've had several issues with the service here over the past (3) years. read more

Honestly this cvs doesn't even deserve a 1 star. I wish there's such a thing as negative stars. I've requested a transfer of my prescription about a week ago and they still have not filled it. My doctor tried calling and was out on hold forever. I've tried calling too and no one picks up. Been on hold now for an hour!!!! All that was good here was the pharmacy attendant and she was pleasant and helpful and offered a solution to a prescription that was unavailable. I was able to be directed to an over the counter option. Now the main check out area was another story, one guy was the only person working there and there was no regular cashier available. I guess I will await my W2 as a cashier from CVS. There was no one available to even answer questions or anything. Please bring back the mom and pop Americana pharmacies from years ago. Just close this location, it will be better for everyone. The store was actually good about 5 years ago but man, lately this place is useless. Not so much the store but the pharmacy. They NEVER answer the phone. So doctors offices can't get in contact with them to leave a prescription meaning the person needing the meds is left hanging. Currently on a 30 minute wait with this pharmacy while my husband is physically there trying to figure out why they don't have out prescription. I had to call my doctors office to see if they forgot to send in the prescription and they didn't but they called back and they can get a hold of these people. They don't answer anyone. Pharmacy: we were just in the drive through line, arrived at 115pm, with 2 cars ahead of us. As soon as it was our turn and we drove to the window they closed the window because of their 130-2pm lunch hour. Where's the decency of alerting us or even just taking our pickup prescription as soon as we got to the window. It sucks we see the car ahead of us get their meds, we drive up 15 seconds later to the shutters closed without any apology or notification. Worst customer service ever. I swear it's something new every time. I was waiting in line at the drive up window for the pharmacy. Got there at 5:45pm & was the 3rd car in line. They helped the two cars in front of me & by the time I pulled up the window was closed for the night at 6pm. I understand you have a closing time, but you saw me waiting in line for that long. I didn't know you closed that early and obviously wouldn't have waited in line that long. I would've even been ok with someone at the window telling me they're closed but to just close the window and not acknowledge me waiting there was beyond rude & unprofessional. They pull this kind of stuff all the time at this location....i wait 20 minutes almost every time to get my medication. Do better or hire more people. read more

I have never been luckily enough to have waited less than 15 minutes to get helped with 3/4 people in line. My favorite is when I stood in line for 10 minutes got directed to anyone person, waited for another 15 minutes after they finished with the person in front of me. I had to leave with out my meds bc I was about to be late for work. Their computers crash frequently forcing everyone to go into the building and waiting on very slow systems. Bad experience. If I could, I would give a Zero. Very unprofessional. I overheard the pharmacist speaking with an older gentleman., about his wife's medication. I noticed that he was having difficulty communicating, the pharmacist told him that the medication was not received yet. He asked, could it be possibly ready tomorrow? A short pharmacy wait is 15 minutes and the average wait time is 30 minutes plus. Frequently this pharmacy is out of medicine. I utilize the text option so I know when my prescriptions are ready. After I receive the text I show up to find out my prescription has not been filled. The pharmacy workers seem clueless. read more

The pharmacist Nicole informed me over the phone that they have 3 left of the prescription that I wanted to fill. I drove to the location immediately and was there within 15 min to fill the prescription. Then when I came in Makayla told me my prescription was incorrectly written and they wouldn't fill it. I asked if they can call the doctor and she refused. She said she will send the request electronically and it will sit in their inbox for days. I don't know why she was predicting and instead of being proactive she decided to seal my fate and not help me. So the pharmacist Nicole came over to talk to me and said they won't hold the prescription while I get it fixed. I said can't you call the doctor and ask them to correct it and she continued to talk over me and repeat that they won't hold prescriptions like a broken record. I said it's not my fault the dr wrote it incorrectly. Anyone with any compassion or decent customer service skills would attempt to help the situation since I was in a unique situation. She refused to help and threw the prescription back at me and said they won't refill my prescription. I've never seen a pharmacist lack empathy like Nicole and Makayla. They should not be working in the healthcare field if they don't have care for patients and can't problem solve and or be flexible. These employees are lazy, rude, and inconsiderate and did not care about my need for the prescription. It's unfortunate that this is how customers are treated. read more

This is my second review on this store. They ARE THE WORST CVS I'VE EVER SEEN! I was on hold AGAIN for 50 minutes! no one answered and I finally hung up. I call the store manager Rose. She kinda giggles when i explain i was on hold for 50 minutes. I asked her being the manager what she is going to do? She said well I am new. I told her if she's hired as a manager then you must have management training and skills and can go back and tell the pharmacy they aren't ANSWERING THE PHONE!
