Waited in line for the medicine to address their ongoing issue, then once the person in front of me was done, it was 1:30pm (pharmacy lunch time) so they closed the doors on us. I cannot say enough great things about this pharmacy. We frequent this pharmacy and I never felt a need to write a review, HOWEVER, I felt compelled to write this review because Yuna went above and beyond in assisting my mother in law in getting her medication replaced after finding her medication bottle with little blacks specs (like pepper) inside. Without any idea how those black specs got into the bottle, the pharmacy explained that the manufacturer sends the medication already sealed therefore we would have to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. Yuna, was very helpful with calling my mother in laws insurance and getting an override so that my mother in law could still be take her medication without missing a beat. It was a semi busy day but Yuna and Robert really showed up and took care of us. I am so thankful. This is by far the best pharmacy. I highly recommend this place. This CVS is actually my most favorite and best CVS of all time. read more

Conveniently located in Centennial at the corner of Farm and Durango, this CVS location is easy access to those living in Centennial and Skye Canyon. It's easy on and off US 95 Exit 93 Durango. They have majority of your pharmacy needs and can order the medication needed if they don't have it in stock. For the most part the pharmacy experience is just okay. They don't seem to have enough workers. It also seems there's new workers in here regularly, so the turnover is high. Hopefully, they can get some more staff, which would make your wait less time. I had the experience where the pharmacy technician transferred my prescription to another CVS location without calling them to see if they had the medication. I asked him to call first and he refused to do so saying the other location had the medication. Once I got to the other location, they were out of stock, so it was a wasted trip. I had to return to this location to have the pharmacist retrieve the prescription back to this location. The pharmacist apologized and I got my medication a few days later. read more

If you want to be treated like a drug addict, go here. Legitimate prescription for the LOWEST grade medication in that category. Pharmacist called and asked me questions that should only be asked by a licensed Doctor. Then asked questions regarding my medical condition, why I needed the medication, if I planned on following up with other Doctors, etc. It's sad that so much has changed with pharmacies over the years and how much power they've been given. The rotation of pharmacists here is horrible. You will work with one pharmacists, the good ones like Eric and Luke knew you by name, but MY CVS STORE have lost these 2 top notch pharmacists. The constant rotation makes me not want to do business with CVS anywhere, anymore. I found dealing with different people constantly has dragged my score for thr store to a 2 star review. My first time coming to this location, not a good experience. The staff was extremely slow, three cars ahead of me, it took 40 minutes to receive my medication. When it was finally my turn the lady who was at the window told me I didn't have any medication ready. I had to show her on my phone. Then she says oh okay you do have three medications ready. With five cars behind me the line is getting longer and longer this employee slowly walk to get my medication and says the pharmacist needs to talk to you. Which was weird these aren't new medications. I say okay, I have to pick up my kids (thus why I left 50 minutes before hand thank god) if we couple PLEASE hurry. The pharmacist rolls her eyes at me and says sure. That being said the first employee starts moving even slower to bag the medication well her and the pharmacist keep making eye contact making the experience even more prolonged and uncomfortable she then asks me to sign. She was very young maybe be even new, but totally unprofessional, and bothered. I gave two stars only because the gentleman that helped me transfer my medication was extremely friendly and fast. read more

Michael the pharmacy manager is awful. Despite having a prescription for a 30 day supply of sleeping pills, Michael refused to fill the full prescription. Because my insurance only covers 15 days, I was going to pay cash for the full supply. Michael lied and said it was illegal and I couldn't pay cash for a prescription if my insurance was on file. My father is a pharmacist and I know for a fact this is 100% incorrect. Further, what if your insurance doesn't cover a medication? You still can't pay for it? It's total nonsense. Then Michael went on to tell me he has a personal ethical issue with controlled substances and wouldn't fill it. He further went on to tell me this is a CVS policy. Well, it clearly isn't because I now have all my prescriptions filled at CVS Sky Pointe. It is absolutely unethical for a manager to impose his beliefs on prescriptions orders by medical professionals. He should find another occupation. read more

Let me tell you transferring RX from state to state hasn't been easy for me esp with the Pharmacy back home, wait times on the phone can be long and when they do pick up it's always some kind of setback that they can't transfer it because they don't want to go that extra inch to do it. All it took is one simple walk in with this CVS and they were able to pull up my RX and said it'd be ready in 15 min. Just wow. Everyone here is so friendly and pleasant. Heart burn sucks. Nausea sucks. Running out of toilet paper mid-wipe sucks. So what do you do when it's 930pm and you need to stock up on these essentials? Well, if you're like me, you go the only option in the area that's still open that late at night and you go to CVS. No matter the time of day, or in my case, night; you'll always be pleasantly greeted by the front entrance cashier who'll offer help if you need it. Pretty sure that's just part of their training but I really appreciate it. Toward the back you have their pharmacy. The pharmacists are all pretty cool and I've never had an issue picking up meds. They carry most major brands and their own store brands if you're looking to save a little cash. There are tons of items available aside from medications including: candy, toiletries, ice cream, seasonal greeting cards and gifts. It's a little pricier compared to a larger big box retailer but it's proximity and late night hours are very much appreciated and sometimes I'll pay the upcharge for the convenience CVS offers. Just one thing I wish they didn't do: give you receipts because they're honestly ridiculously long. read more

I have worked in the medical field going on 25 years now. The Pharmacy at this location and all the staff here are impeccable! This is a very busy pharmacy, and they still maintain efficiency getting your prescriptions filled in a timely matter. Not only do they fill your prescriptions accurately and efficiently, the staff who give vaccinations, Colton and Fernando are the two individuals who have personally given vaccinations to my children and myself, are amazing. They practice proper hygiene when doing so and proper placement of where to give the vaccine in the arm. I cannot say enough good things about the staff here at this location. Not one person who I have ever had an encounter with was negative. Even with they're slammed with patients, they still maintain Amazing service excellence. The staff here is super awesome! They're very patient and always willing to help. This particular CVS is new so it's clean and not worn out. They have last minute items to purchase here and offers great discounts and coupons if you've got any. They offer coupons when you purchase things. My only complaint is that the drive thru for picking up prescription is always long. But they do offer delivery that I have not yet taken advantage of. read more

This location is OKAY. I usually go here to pick up prescriptions because it is way better than the Walgreens near my house. The pharmacy staff is generally helpful. If all you need is to pick up prescriptions every once in a while, this is a decent place. I recently got some gift cards for CVS, so I`ve started to go here a bit more frequently to stock up on necessities and my thoughts on this location that it is alright in terms of being clean, the staff being nice, and the location is great. The downside is that they are usually out of products I`m looking to buy(get enough stock, please!), the prices are quite high compared to Target and Walmart(which I knew already, but this still really annoys me about places like CVS), and recently when I tried to use two gift cards at once, they would not let me. I didn`t understand why, but the cashier kept saying that I couldn`t do it because one gift card was already tied to my CVS rewards account(what?!). Upon getting home from CVS, I went online and was able to use the gift card on the CVS site to ship me the items I couldn`t find at the store. Not a big deal, but I did feel slightly confused over why I could not use my second gift card at the store and while the woman at the counter was super helpful and trying to get as many coupons applied to my order as possible, she didn`t really go the extra mile in regard to the coupon issue. To be fair, though, CVS has a new program called "CarePass" and it is $5 a month with your first month free and you get $10 applied to your card every month to use as you please. I didn`t really want to sign up for it, but the cashier convinced me and let me know I could cancel anytime within the next month without having to pay anything and that I could save 10 extra dollars on my order that day. So, she did help me out in that regard. All in all, this place is OK. They will try to help you somewhat, items are sometimes sparse, but it is fine for a CVS. read more

Stopped in to pick up my wife's prescriptions. We do not have prescription drug coverage so we have been relying on good RX to save us some money. Unfortunately CVS leaves it up to the discretion of the pharmacist as to whether or not they will accept those discount programs. So that means that a product should have cost $17 cash ended up selling to me for 71. Save yourself money frustration and hassle and take your business elsewhere. This is not the first time that we have had problems with this location either, one time they tried to run my wife's blood pressure medication through her medical insurance leaving her without blood pressure control for almost 2 weeks. read more

I'm so glad they finally opened a CVS up by me! Right across from Walgreens if all places actually! Lol! I actually prefer CVS over other drug stores because of the great sales they always have, especially the ones where you get a bunch of Extrabucks for buying certain items on promo. It's basically like an instant rebate, works the same as store credit and can be used on most items in the store. The employees here are super friendly and always greet you as soon as you walk in. They all seem eager to help, but leave you alone if you tell them you don't need help looking for anything. This is one of their smaller locations but the only thing they're really missing, that I've noticed at least, is beer & wine. It's a great one stop shop for your medicine, toiletry and drug store beauty needs. Their grocery prices are a little on the high side, if it's not on sale, and I tend to avoid these items aside from snack foods and drinks. read more

I walked into this CVS on a Tuesday around 1:00pm. There were two customer service employees attending the front counter. Even though they were both checking out customers. They took time to greet all the new walk in customers, they also said to let them know if they could help with anything! This is good old customer service. A lot of places are lacking these essential skills. I actually did require their help. The item I came into buy was out of stock. She not only scanned it to check to see if it was in the back. She also offered to check the computer to see what other CVS stores might have it on their shelf's. She found them at CVS on Craig & Tenaya and called the store and asked them to pull the items and have them at the front counter " for her customer". I thanked them for their excellent customer service skills, and drove over to the other store......and they were on the counter waiting for me! That was awesome service! I was in customer service and it is these small things that will win over a customer! I will remember both stores. As the the 2nd store did pull the items and they were waiting for me. It's a cute little drug store. Fill prescriptions grab much needed home supplies or personal items. It's a nice cool little place to shop. I stop in often. The employees attitudes change but are often happy/professional. People are people keep that in mind. We all have good/bad days. But over all a nice place to shop.
