Helpful hint: if you have an appt at the minute clinic don't think just because you've checked in and it literally tells you that's all you have to do and just be near the waiting area and they will call you that that is in fact true. 9/10 employees in the pharmacy will look at you and then continue on (including the woman at the register mere feet from you). Their system apparently doesn't tell them when someone checks in... and then they will just ignore you clearly sitting in the waiting area. I used to be a huge fan of CVS stores because they were so convenient for picking up everything, but service has really gone downhill. I like this place for the location, but they always seem short staffed. I recommend ordering your items for pickup to save time. It took several minutes for a staff person to help me and all I was doing was picking up an order. The shelves are poorly stocked and honestly everything is expensive for what it is. This is a good place for a quick stop, but not if you're in a hurry. read more

I prefer this CVS location, staff is always friendly even though it seems like this location is typically short staffed... nevertheless everyone is still pleasant to be around. The pharmacy staff is incredible, detailed, thorough and helpful. I've had a couple vaccines here during my pregnancy which are painless too! Easy parking right up front which is a plus. My only complaints are 1. That sometimes it's impossible buying items that are locked up due to them always being short staffed, no one ever comes to assist you with those locked up needed items; and 2. The photo department needs some serious work, they either "can't" find my photos for the first 5 mins of looking (they eventually do), or the photos print out on streaked paper and I find out when I get home. I've been coming to this pharmacy for a while, but recently the service has gone downhill. To the team members at the drive-thru (specifically the Black gentleman and the Filipino lady), please tighten up. I work in healthcare, so I understand what it's like to have a tough day, but I would never let that show toward a patient. I rarely leave reviews, but the attitude I've encountered here pushed me to speak up. I'm not even asking for friendliness--just basic respect when patients ask questions. Whether someone is asking about medication details or something trivial, it deserves a professional and courteous response. As a practicing physician who has worked alongside pharmacy staff, I find it very disappointing to see the decline at this location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because patients deserve better. read more

I've lived in the neighborhood for about 5 years now and I've only been in here maybe half a dozen times in that time. I usually prefer Walgreens down the street, but there are some things that CVS does that Walgreens doesn't. For starters, they take passport pictures for renewals, etc. This is very convenient and has actually come in pretty handy a few times already. The place is usually moderately clean and well stocked. My experience with the prices is touch and go. They will have good sales or promos from time to time, but otherwise they seem to be priced a bit higher than Walgreens on most comparable items. Service is, again, touch and go. I've had experiences here ranging from very good to not so much. Always seems like a crap shoot. lol This place is alright. 3 stars. A-OK. read more

I've been coming here since this place opened 15 -20 years ago for my RX's. I know COVID testing is important BUT... waiting at the drive through (one lane open) for 30 minutes for each car is RIDICULOUS! They should open up both lanes outside, this way people that need their medications can pickup without having to go in. They have TWO lanes outside, use them properly. I just wasted one hour of my life. ‍ Wait it gets better. I get so frustrated from waiting in line for so long outside, that go inside... there's like seven employees in the pharmacy area and there's a line for our RX's inside as well, nobody's doing anything, it's crazy. Worst place to get prescription! The people here are lazy! They watch and stare at you stand in line and don't acknowledge you and or greet you. The store is normally well stocked and the employees have always been friendly and helpful. I have never had an issue with the pharmacy either. I came here to get a COVID PCR test, online it says that it's free for everyone. When I arrived a sign at the window says that it's not free for people with no insurance. I have insurance in CA so I assumed it was free still. Then they told me that it may be free or I may get a bill for an unknown amount. I Looked it up and a PCR test is about $150. It's annoying that they have no information and I do not want a surprise bill. I also find it sad that the government of Nevada discontinued free vaccines and free COVID tests, because that will discourage people from receiving these necessary resources. CVS needs to inform their employees with necessary information and the government needs to do better. read more

This is for Hannah- My WORST Pharmacy experience was with Hannah. Her customer service was horrible. She was very sassy with me, rude, unprofessional, and not helpful. I asked her a very quick and simple question and the way she acted and responded was not what I was expecting. I then told her nicely "okay thank you, bye" and she did not say anything back. Went to the pharmacy this evening, the urgent care delayed sending my medicine. The gentleman suggested I call them, once I got them on the phone to tell them to please send my prescription because I feel horrible, the 2 woman, stopped me and said, we close in 17 minutes so don't send it here we're not going to get it filled. You have a man standing in front of you feeling horrible and you say nah. Is that what you got into the business to do? To turn away sick people? The asian woman was the pharmacist and the Caucasian lady, I'm not sure, possibly the tech. I had to go back to the dr. We've come to this pharmacy many times. And it's always for the same medication. Nothing new. But for whatever reason this time around the service is unacceptable. My 2 year old has RSV and the Dr sent over prescriptions that we have gotten before. Yet it's taken days to fill. First they said they did not have it and had to order it. The next day we go back in and they say, it's not ready come back in 15. So we do and it's still not ready. All of a sudden there's a problem with the insurance covering it. So we come back 20 minutes later like they say only for them to say that they don't have it and they have to order it. Make it make sense? So we can not get it till Monday because today is Friday. The prescription was sent in on Wednesday. Someone is clearly wearing their butt as a hat. This is for a 2 year old with RSV! The medication should have been ready days ago. This pharmacy is a joke and so are the people working in it. read more

Oh no oh no. I went on here again for convenience on 9/25 at 10:30 and one of the employees was venting about another customer and her responsibilities to me as I was looking at product. She walked into the aisle and went "ugh!!! Ring the bell one more time and I'm going to take even longer to get there to help you! Man these people make me crazy, ugh!!!!" Basically she was complaining about her job and another customer. She then went over and started berating the customer needing her help getting something out of a locked box. A completely different customer was looking on and said "now I'm scared to ring the buzzer, I actually need something in another aisle". This employee was so loud and unreasonably rude that 4-5 customers just stopped to look at what was going on. So sad. read more

This pharmacy needs to be sued for GROSS ABUSE OF POWER! Twice they have refused to fulfill prescriptions that MY DOCTOR sent in. I'm in extreme pain due to a car accident and they're telling me I have to wait two days to get my pills ?? How is this okay?? How do they have authority OVER MY DR to tell me what pills I can't take?? This is insane they should not be able to play with peoples medical care like this. It's disgusting. Now, I personally frequent the CVS on Las Vegas Blvd and Windmill. However, I had to pick up prescriptions today for my boyfriend and my boyfriend lives very close to this location so his prescriptions were sent here. I had no problem with the pharmacy technicians as they were quick and efficient at doing their jobs. They asked me if I needed any directions on using the medications and since I wasn't sure if the doctor went over that aspect with my boyfriend, I opted yes for the pharmacy "consultation." The pharmacist at that location looked like he hated his miserable life. Not a single smile reached his face when he came up to me and started explaining directions. Now, during his explanation of the second prescription, I got a little lost and didn't quite understand what he was trying to say and of course that portrayed on my face. Apparently, that was a huge issue for him as that was when he started giving me attitude. He proceeded to ask how old my boyfriend was ... why? I guess he thought that we could read the directions ourselves instead of asking him so age was a huge factor? The looks he was giving me the whole time was as though he looked at me like I'm stupid. It was very unappreciated. He ended up taking out the prescription to show me exactly what he was talking about, which he could've done so in the first place. If I knew that I was going to get this type of treatment, then yes, I think I prefer to go home and read the directions myself or have my boyfriend read it. I don't need to be treated as though I'm an inconvenience to you. I'm sorry you hate your job and I'm sorry you hate your life. I'm sorry you hate having to read directions for your customers. I was really tempted to tell him that he was being a dick but why bother? He already looks miserable enough as it is. This makes me glad that at my CVS location, the pharmacists there don't seem to have sticks up their butts. Picking up prescriptions? If they ask you if you need instructions .. just say no. I frequent this location 2 or 3 times a month. Drive thru pick up for the pharmacy is speedy and friendly. Inside pharmacy is also efficient and quick. The inside of the store is a bit dark and dingy. But the shelves are always stocked and the seasonal items rotate in a timely way. Each visit I'm greeted by a friendly "hello" or asked if I need help finding anything. Lines run a little slow for most of my transactions. I'll continue to come here because of the location and the fact that my prescriptions are here. read more

I stopped here for a couple of things. This is not my typical area of town, but it was a necessary stop. The staff was limited. One person at the check stand and I only saw one other staff member working on the floor. She was polite when I asked for assistance. There were about five people in line. The man at the register did not call for back up, so it took a while to get checked out. I was able to find what I needed, print out a coupon at the kiosk for the items, and the bathroom facilities were acceptably clean. read more

I'm trying to get the receipts... Shes going on and on and Finally, I said, "lady that is not my business nor my problem" I just want my prescription. then she slams the window shut in my face. Now the pharmacist Becca comes from somewhere, and loudly says, I refused to be abused, and I refuse to help anyone that's abusing me... huh I ignored her because it real obvious she was looking for a problem. My statement to her re: not my problem i just want my prescription so I can go IS NOT ABUSE!!!!,, I feel like what ever I did, or said was going to be problematic ... I think because when she opened up the window and saw a white haired old black woman in the car, that immediately set her off. That's why she didn't wait on me in the first place!!!!! We've been using this pharmacy for about two years and everything was great until this month. They suddenly took it upon themselves to choose NOT TO ORDER medication that I HAVE TO TAKE because they found it to be too expensive. AFTER I APPROVED IT!! They called and told me the price, I told them I understood how much it would cost, but I had no choice, I needed it immediately due to a mix up with the mail order pharmacy and I didn't have time to wait for mail order to play catch up...They didn't order said script. When I asked about it today, expecting to pick it up, they told me how much it would cost (we went through the same dang routine!!) and that they didn't HAVE ANY IN STOCK! AGHHHH! Go somewhere else! If I could leave Zero stars I would. The level of incompetence from the people that run store is incredible. I purchased a gift card for my nephew's birthday and when he went to spend it there were no funds on it and they live out of start. Being that he is 5 years old it made me look like the worst uncle ever. All good, stuff happens. After speaking with all 3 store managers and being run through the ringer, I couldn't get a reasonable solution, not even a call back from the store manager. SAD. I'm now going through CVS corporate to get this worked out, and also suggesting they start train their leadership to better handle these simple issues. CVS left me hanging on this situation and were extremely unhelpful, (managers included). Instead of providing a simple resolution to a simple issue, they decided to run me the ringer.
